2061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: April 03, 2022, 01:03:59 PM

That would not change the focus of Casimero, it is he who use to do the trash-talking to distract his opponent, so no one could beat him on his own game. The fight will happen based on the official announcement, so Butler has to be ready to win in front of his fans watching the fight.
And with that being said I think Casimero has been knew how to handle trash talking because he himself was also doing that thing to his opponents. Well, by what Butler tweeted last time so far there's no further announcement if that tweet is true or not but I will agree that Butler should prepare for this battle because Casimero will not going to give any chance for Butler to win the game. Let's just wait for official announcement and hopefully we could now see these two fighter inside the ring.

Was it really Butler who made a tweet? What I read is the tweet was coming from the team Butler but I don't see a tweet that would substantiate the alleged tweet. That rumor will eventually die because there was no proof, it's hard to speculate with proof.
2062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 03, 2022, 11:00:30 AM

Let's move on to the PBA Finals, can the Bolts resist the firepower of Ginebra Kings or this is just a one-sided affair?

I'm sure it's not a one-sided series, Ginebra maybe the favorite but they cannot sweep the Bolts who are playing with lots of energy in the semi Finals. Their import once struggles but they still win, I think they can give the Ginebra a very good challenge.

Does anyone here like to have a bet on this series?

I'm sure everyone is on Ginebra.. Any Meralco Takers here?
2063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 03, 2022, 10:47:24 AM
Damn, the Warriors surprises me again. Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson both had 30+ point defeating a complete Jazz team.  Shocked
Poole especially has his nights but it became a consistent night scoring at high numbers. His confidence is way up compared to other players of the team.
Then there's Gary Payton II who I think made his father proud on that last quarter clinch moments. Cuts, 3 point, rebound, and defense. It may not be seen in his stats but his impact to the crowd is high.
18-0 run, Warriors win.
The good thing is when Steph is injured and cannot play, there is Poole who can be the substitute for him and just shoot threes wherever he wants to and sinks Cheesy.
Just watched it on Youtube and Mitchell's reaction after the game is he just put his 2 hands in his head showing frustration on what happened. An 18-0 run at the final minutes of the game is just insane and that is the momentum shifter.
Maybe that's the kind of problem that they have to fixed.
IIRC, in the last playoffs, they were also ahead against the Clippers but they allow the Clippers to have a big run and beat them, and take note, Kawhi was out that time, it was only PG who are carrying the team.

With that the Jazz lost 6 on their last 10 games. Tied with the Nuggets and only 2 games above Minnesota in the 7th spot. Their remaining 4 games will be crucial against MEM, OKC, PHX and POR.

They are not in a good position, if they will still lose some games, they might be in the play-in tournament.
2064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: April 03, 2022, 08:54:40 AM
Tagoe is 8.6, better odds than sportsbet.

That's a trap, I wouldn't take that 8.6 against Ryan Garcia because we know how capable he is especially against a fighter that has not fought big fights in the US. I'm not saying Tagoe has no chance, but if we are talking of a chance, that should be a slim chance.

Yeah, it could be a trap for us, I know it's very attractive and might be tempting to some because of the huge odds but for sure, you have one foot already on the losing end, very slim change for him to pull an upset against Ryan. We know that Garcia is coming from a long layoff, but it's hard to see him losing against a relatively unknown fighter who hasn't fought anyone at Ryan's level.

That's only more than a year, so it's not that too long, just enough time for him to rest and solve his problem which was a mental problem as previously reported. Now, that he is back, I'm sure he is more than ready to entertain the crowd again, and as a boxing fan, I always expect a KO from him.

Maybe it's not too long but there's still an impact on him. Ryan Garcia used to fight at least 2 times a year. After his last fight, he skipped a year without fighting due to the problem which was discussed. Well, he is still young, I'm sure he can get back to being active again, this would be his first attempt after a long layoff, he should not disappoint us.
2065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 03, 2022, 07:03:59 AM
Rolling with the Jazz over GSW, both teams are in horrendous form but I prefer Jazz even though the Warriors kept it close against the Suns as they're still finding looking for a win to break their streak.

I just hope the Jazz won't crumble again if they manage to get a decent lead by halftime.

Jazz failed to hold the lead, they were outscored in the 4th quarter resulting in a win by the Warriors.

20-30 was the score in the 4th quarter in favor of the Warriors, a great game by KT after a bad performance in the previous game.
Sorry mate, you'll get that "W" next time for sure.
2066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: April 03, 2022, 06:18:00 AM
I'm starting to laugh at this one because you guys are the one who is anxious instead of Casimero who have been bombarded with misleading news. Just let that be, Casimero himself isn't even affected.

It's ok, mate. They are just sharing sentiments. Cheesy

Actually, it was a sensitive issue, and just to give you some thoughts, a pending lawsuit can affect the boxer's schedule and WBA might not allow him to fight. It's obvious that Casimero is not affected but surely it was on his mind and let's say that's not true, they still need to address the issue and answer the complaint at the given place and time at which the accused Casimero should also be present once the trial started. In other words, too much hassle even Casimero is not guilty.

The Tweet by Paul Butler's camp is just proof that there might be a change of plan since they know a boxer can't just fight if there's an ongoing lawsuit. Fortunately, no news about that and seems that there will be no problem.

Or Butler just playing mind games with Casimero, he might not used the case issue against John Riel blatantly, but this is somewhat a subtle attack on him.

So it's either Casimero will be affected or will he be ore motivated to knock out Butler because of that kind of "trash talking". So we will see, we are almost there, we just have to patience specially the odds on this fight because we wanted to beat already.

That would not change the focus of Casimero, it is he who use to do the trash-talking to distract his opponent, so no one could beat him on his own game. The fight will happen based on the official announcement, so Butler has to be ready to win in front of his fans watching the fight.
2067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 02, 2022, 02:03:19 PM

Personally, if the Nets would be in the play-in tournament, my confidence is still high that they'll be the ECF winner.

I think most of us think they have the biggest chance to win the ECF this season.

The struggle was justifiable, Nets were a good team but missing Durant for many games really bring their ranking to go down, IIRC, they were able to stay at the top 1 this season. But look at the situation now, Durant and Irving is already playing, they are now a solid team.

The betting odds are the voice of most gamblers, and since the Nets have the lowest odds, that means they have the biggest chance.
Per odds in the sportsbook I'm using, the Nets and Bucks are tied with an odds of 3.70, but it's possible that they will face in the first round if Nets will end in number 7 and Bucks stayed at number 2 spot.
2068  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Sites on: April 02, 2022, 01:30:28 PM
I agree. Freebitco.in comes with one of the most simple, lightweight and unobtrusive user interface designs of all gambling sites. It is definitely user friendly for all newcomers to the world of online gambling, especially coming from areas that have poor internet connections.
however freebitco does not have a complete selection of games. I really like playing slots and sometimes sports betting, while there is no freebitcoin, so that's why I prefer to play at betfury, bk8 or owl games.

You can always choose the gambling site that you like to play, it's your personal discretion, and what's important is that you choose the gambling sites with a good reputation. The gambling sites you are using seems to have build a good reputation, so you are safe while you are enjoying the games offered.
2069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 01, 2022, 01:58:30 PM
The promoters might give GGG his trilogy against Canelo only if he gets the victory versus Murata dominantly and convincingly.
If that's the case then I would already expect a GGG vs Canelo Trilogy as there's no way GGG would lose to Murata. Sorry Murata Fans, I just don't see your fighter powerful enough to beat GGG, he maybe older but the power is still there and I'm afraid that we might see a KO win by GGG.
2070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 01, 2022, 01:41:52 PM
An unexpected thing happened.

Congratulations to the Meralco Bolts for winning the semi Finals.

Now, we will see good Finals series between the Bolts and the Gin Kings.
I am also happy with the performance of the Bolts because I won my Moneyline bet.

That's a good odds, this is the best result with Meralco but still kudos to Magnolia for playing their heart out and for having a great season since the elimination.

Its final, Meralco vs Ginebra in the finals, no more rumors about fixed games since this are totally different team who wants to get the championship for this conference. Meralco should train harder because Ginebra is not an easy opponent. Can't wait to see the odds for the finals!

Finally we will see a good matchup in this governors cup and I want to congratulate to the winners who will bet meralco bolts.  Almazan and allein Maliksi doing great in this match, maliksi scored from the outside and almaxan take the inner points and these two players carrying their team to win.
Next betting choice meralco and ginebra San Miguel. These must be a good match.

Almazan  with a perfect FG, that was one of the biggest thing that help the Meralco to win.

Magnolia are good but they have no main man that would consistently contribute for the points, it was Harris in game 4 but he was injured in this game which the Meralco has taken it as an advantage to beat the Magnolia.

Maybe, Casimero's promoter already take care of it. Because if they can settle it outside, the better.

Promoters have nothing to do with that. And what do you mean settling it outside? Casimero has a legal team to care for the business and promoters only do their own business too, only related to boxing and nothing else.

Since the issue is now silent maybe it was smoothly working on progress. Or I might agree with the above post that here in PH, the case is rolling slow or maybe the authorities want to settle the case and the presence of Casimero is necessary which is just possible after the match between him and Paul Butler.

Guys, if just a few weeks' periods of sleep and we will now witness this fight.

Maybe he is just confuse that he mistakenly include the promoter on Casimero's team or maybe he just don't know that they have separate jobs.

We cannot literally tell if the case was filed and it is just running slowly before a presence in the court is needed, there's no news about it all or updates what have happened in the case.

3 more weeks to go mate, and then we can witness it!
2073  Other / Off-topic / Re: Jake Paul vs Conor McGregor on: March 30, 2022, 06:17:16 PM
I'm a bit surprised when I was saw this thread that there is a possibility that McGregor and Jake Paul will fight soon as "the notorious" is eyeing to get a fight soon, so I dig up a little search in the internet about this two and I found this:

Quote
Paul, who has amassed a professional boxing record of 5-0, has long angled for a fight with McGregor and went on to claim he would knock him out.

"I would KO Conor in boxing or MMA. Right hand of God," he said.
Link: https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/boxing/conor-mcgregor-responds-jake-pauls-26449571

Did literally Jake Paul mean it? That's just a pure suicide especially if the fight will happen in the octagon. Lol Grin

Why are you so sure of McGregor's victory in the octagon? Paul is heavier by about 15 kilograms, so it is not known whose advantage will increase if the fight takes place there. Nurmagomedov defeated McGregor due to the greater mass (he record cut weight for weighing and then record gained it before the fight) and everyone saw what an advantage he had. And if I understand correctly, it was about 5-6 kilograms and not about 15.

Why am I sure of McGregor's victory, Is that really a question? Huh Of course McGregor has the advantage in the octagon than Jake Paul who is a boxer not an MMA fighter and the latter have no experienced in the octagon even if he is heavier by 15 kilograms as you said, let's not forget that the challenger is just new in the boxing industry and here he comes now challenging some lions not just in boxing but in other sport as well.

Mate, you cannot just really compare Khabib to Jake Paul. Is that for real? The kid is nowhere near Khabib's prowess even if let's say he is 15 or 20 kilos heavier and let me tell you again, Jake Paul is not an MMA fighter or even a novice in that sport.
2074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: FURY vs WHYTE - CONFIRMED on: March 30, 2022, 05:43:35 PM
If Whyte felt disrespected because of ticketing issues then he has a valid point but why would that be the biggest problem? It is clear many things are going on behind the scenes. Why on earth did Hearn and the Whyte camp wait until deadline day before signing the contract? Hearn claims it to make Fury upset and to play mind games but Fury is way beyond those small minded attempts. Add to that Whyte wanting a bigger share of the purse, it did not help.

Hearn can say all he likes about being glad not to promote the fight but let us not forget he did bid to promote the fight but was outbid by the record-breaking blind bid by Frank Warren (promoter of Fury). I think Hearn is just upset he lost out but he must have learned his lesson because if a Fury vs Joshua fight ever went head he would want to be the one to promote it.

It seems the lawyer for Whyte is saying the fight might not go ahead but has not given more detail except outstanding issues need resolving. It all stemmed from Whyte wanting a bigger share of the fight purse distribution and looked at ways to increase his pay.

I've read the article you've said, thanks.

I don't know much about the complimentary tickets or some details behind the scene and their agreements, but what I'm so curious about is that why did Fury's team didn't disclose any details about the fight and the inside venue? It's a bit unfair I think that Whyte's entourage or family doesn't have any tickets at all to watch the fight.

That's also why Eddie Hearn have said that he's glad that he got no part about the fight and promotions. Seems a little bit messy behind the scenes.
I guess they are just making it a big deal because they have nothing else to throw at, so the tickets (small problems) is what they see now and I assume that Hearn who didn't get the bid on this fight is pulling those strings behind the scenes to get this upcoming fight somehow messed up and I bet he is also the one whispering on Whyte's ears that he have a right to have a bigger share in the purse.
2075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: March 30, 2022, 05:20:05 PM
Tagoe may be a cherry picked fight on this one against Garcia but it's not because he is weak, it is because he can unveil Garcia's true limitations or whatsoever. We can't also forget that this match is for Garcia so that he will lift his name higher, so we can expect a very interesting and tight match.

Yup, you are right. This fight is intended for Garcia's successful return to the ring after a long layoff. I just don't know how prepared Garcia mentally in this fight. Last time I have read that Canelo, his friend took a swipe at him saying that he is now focused on a fight and the latter took it hard which might affect his preparation for this fight.

Let us wait for more betting options on this fight, ATM ML for Garcia is not a good bet.

Intended and supposed to lift Garcia's name again and make it fresh from his inactivity, but how about if the supposed goal is not achieved in Garcia's side? I'm just saying because an upset ain't also impossible in this fight but hopefully the kid is mentally alright to give a good fight.

Maybe there's some changes in the few days to come but for now, yes let's just wait.

Totally massacre i would say if things turns out to be fighting in MMA rule and i dont know on whats up on the mind of Jake Paul on trying out to beat or fight Conor on MMA which we know that on where he's good on.. Ego would really be putting you on danger but for the sake of money or revenue then it turns out that taking a suicide would really be worth.  Cheesy

Indeed! It would precisely be a massacre or execution if Jake Paul will really fight the Notorious Mcgregor in the octagon where he's the most dominant and the chances of Jake Paul surviving it is literally slim or 0%.

The kid is trying to prove the world that he can pursue and defeat stars in different industries despite his record in professional boxing but he cannot just defeat them that easily especially if he were going to fight them where he has no experience nor talent. Being greedy in money and fame will really put him at danger, it's not totally worth it even if the money is that big if his reputation and health is at risk.
2077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: March 29, 2022, 08:37:32 PM

Anyway, Demetrious Johnson next...  Let's see how he does at Muay Thai.  Lolol.

Edit:  He sleepin'.  Lmao.  Demetrious Johnson won via sub.
Yup, it didn't reach round 3 and won by sub as predicted.

DJ landed some good punches and knees but he somehow survived round 1 by clinching a lot. I don't think real Muay Thai fighters would have done that but kudos to DJ's camp because that was still a smart strategy.

Isn't the Rodrang guy a legit Muay Thai fighter?  I really have no idea but DJ had nothing on him in a pure striking battle at R1.  Rodrang was applying pressure most of the time.  But come the second round you could really see MMA's advantages vs pure strikers.  There's just more ways DJ can go to win the match.

But yeah overall it was a good event.  And a looong one.  Would be nice to have a UFC like that.

UAE Warriors live rn:  https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/events/87616-uae-warriors-29-africa

Pardon, it's Rodtang not Rodrang Grin but yes, Rodtang is a legitimate Muay Thai fighter while DJ is an MMA fighter. The rules wasn't unfair too as both of them could represent their each and own field of expertise but sadly in the 1st round it's all about Muay Thai and Rodtang has that advantage.

We can already see that at the start, Rodtang is calm and have given DJ a nice warm punch already while the latter is just almost pure defense trying survive the 1st round, barely. Until the 2nd round commenced and DJ had him until Rodtang ran out of air and win via submission.
2078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: Fury vs Whyte on: March 29, 2022, 07:43:47 PM
I think this is another great fight and as always, I can never bet against Fury as he is the king of the heavyweight division.
The poll is not up yet, but you know what fighter I will vote to win.

So what we are going to see is this fight and a rematch of Joshua and Usyk.

Wilder seemed lost now.  Grin
Probably the fight will be very much entertaining as we are soon to witness a great fighter who is always defending his incredible unbeaten record that makes Fury the crowd's favorite bet. But not to mention Whyte as he is been doing great too in the boxing arena and to think that he admitted that he has dropped Fury on multiple occasions in a sparring session, well this fight will prove it all. And the rematch of Joshua and Usyk will add another highlight too on the said event.

Yeah, probably. So that means that it is still unsure that this would be an entertaining or interesting fight after all. Well, I'm not saying that Whyte is just too far from Fury's league but what we are seeing is sure win fight from Fury and the chances that he will be upset in this fight is almost less than slim and the poll shows that the fights future results. I'm not a Fury fan nor Whyte, I'm just saying what I am seeing.
2079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: March 29, 2022, 07:15:58 PM
Tagoe could experiment all he wants, he just has to make sure that he is doing it the right way because Garcia is not an easy opponent to crack, he's been down before, was able to stand up and continue the fight. Garcia is a much tougher opponent now with that experience, so it should be Tagoe who should be careful, he could go for a KO but make sure he always keeps his defense so he will survive longer.

Experimenting is not necessary as that would cost him more rounds before he can make up with a good counter-strategy. Why not just do his usual, focus on good points then slowly applied it every round. No room for doing such testing and experiments.

While he is doing that, Garcia might be the first to hit him up badly. Stay serious and focused and think of all the things he did during their practice and training.

Anyways, we honestly don't need to say what should they do as these boxers are experienced ones.

What we need to wait for is how they will execute their strategy on the day of the fight.
This is gonna be a big fight as long as Tagoe will focus more on his strengths and show what he has got to gain, and not to lose. Of course, Garcia won't let that happen easily knowing he's been a tough fighter and undefeated in all his previous fights. And to think that he's been a 15-time national amateur champion at he's young age, then he must be very hard to beat. But of course, Tagoe on the other hand is also one of the top boxers nationwide and fighting with Garcia has always been his dream. So we'll see who will bring it to the next speed level.

Let's see about it soon and what have they got, these two boxers really deserves to win but unfortunately, a draw in this match is almost impossible to happen. Tagoe here have much experience than the young aspiring Garcia but the latter also have some capabilities that even a veteran boxer don't have. We know it won't be an easy fight as these two won't be an easy opponent to each other. Anyways, the time is near and we will see it soon.

the days are really passing by so fast. i believe, we will see a toe-to-toe fight on this. tagoe knows that garcia is the favourite here and he's more popular than him. if he will take that as a challenge, we will do witness a very good fight inside the ring. it may seem to be a cherry pick for garcia but we should not disregard tagoe's boxing record. he may not be known to many, but somehow his record is one for the books also as 32-1-0 vs garcia as 21-0-0.

Indeed, I will also assume that we will going to see a tough toe-to-toe match next month on this fight and certainly, Tagoe will take this as a challenge just like what he said on the last press conference. I know he will go all out because Garcia is his ticket in the industry to be famous and get more professional fights that have a higher pay cut than he ever did before.

Tagoe may be a cherry picked fight on this one against Garcia but it's not because he is weak, it is because he can unveil Garcia's true limitations or whatsoever. We can't also forget that this match is for Garcia so that he will lift his name higher, so we can expect a very interesting and tight match.
