It's so sad to see that guy still has followers who actually believe what he says... Flat earth, anyone?

Wow it is going nuts. Good news is, my acquisition cost is now near zero. Bad news is I own only a fraction of what I had before. When the price is nearing 10k I guess good news isn't actually good. Send this to 100k and I can get myself a tesla. To the moon! I am not sad for selling actually. I am sad for buying too much and becoming overinvested. Hopefully a mistake that I won't repeat again. We are still the early adopters right? Right? Sorry, but there is no way I can accept that you are not sad for selling...

Potential bart pattern playing out Pumps, dumps, barts... Just wait a few years, and they won't even register on your screen, compared to the stratospheric value that Bitcoin will have reached by then. Just like your chart above [img width=1]. Just Zoom Out!TM

@Raja_MBZ: The scammer played it smart, by agreeing to receive the quarter ($250) installments, in order to gain your trust, and he did... I would probably do the same as you, being influenced by the eBay culture, where I've bought hundreds of things and always paid upfront in full ($500+ in some cases) without any problems.
Your story serves as a lesson to all of us, to never trust anyone we don't really know, especially when it comes to Bitcoin. "Don't trust, verify!" is the motto. Bitcoin's strength of irreversibility can cut both ways, like a double-edged sword. Got to treat it as such.

I am just gonna leave this here for those who know what's what. Wow, cAPSLOCK, your post has just fired some old memory neurons in my brain... Dungeon Master! I've spent countless hours on this game. High school, with a classmate and friend. On an Amiga 500. We were even making maps on paper for each level. We're talking hours of non-stop playing, we didn't eat or sleep until we were completely exhausted... I remember we used to eat those damned plant things in your screenshot, which upped our stamina/power/abilities. After we finished eating them, we went outside the room and slept (in-game) for some time and these things kept regenerating, so we could eat some more and gain more abilities. It was a way to raise your level. Also, the small squares with the symbols on top-right were for casting spells. Those graphics were breathtaking at the time, a truly immersive experience (IIRC, the Amiga had better graphics than your screenshot -- this is probably from a PC or other computer). Good times...

I’m sorry .... I was one short to hero your ass
It's nice to see that the constant hats on the thread go up in rank. Congrats! AlcoHoDL
When I noticed he turned into a hero member, I instantly started him off on his lonnnng rooooad to the next one with giving him my last smerit. Congrats to you AlcoH0DL! What can I say guys... I'm humbled and thankful to all WO members, for the good vibes, the witty discussions, educating me about Bitcoin, the HoDLing culture which has now become my permanent strategy and motto, learning about some weird stuff I dare not speak about, and, of course, for proudly wearing an xhomerx10 original. You're part of my life now, and always will be, no matter if we moon or doom.

Simple (and possibly really "noob") question about exchanges:
I’m sorry .... I was one short to hero your ass Thanks man! Wow, soon to have 5 coins in my badge! Hope we reach the same amount of digits very soon!

Thanks guys, I thought it was about arbitrage...
So, you're saying that the price equalization is actually caused by players using bots to take advantage of price differences between exchanges. Makes sense. I thought (just guessing here) that maybe the exchanges themselves had some sort of mechanism in place to prevent this. Also, the time it takes to transfer funds between exchanges would work against it.
Too complicated. Just HoDL and wait. Works for me.

Simple (and possibly really "noob") question about exchanges:
When there is a big green (or red) dildo on the BTC/USD chart of an exchange (say, due to one big whale's move on that specific exchange), how is it possible for nearly all other exchanges, and even different fiat currency charts (BTC/EUR, etc.), to also reflect that move almost instantly? Shouldn't that specific move affect only the exchange on which it was made? At least in the short term?
It seems to me that all exchanges are somehow linked together, so that a move on one of them near-instantly affects all others. I wonder if there is an established inter-exchange system of price equalization (possibly a proactive measure to prevent arbitrage), or if the observed price equalization just happens naturally due to the global market itself (i.e., the "law of averages" taking place).
Have always wondered about this... Any insights appreciated.

My last AMD CPU was an Athlon XP 2400. Since then, it's always been Intel for me. Currently on an i7 8700.
Time to switch?
Ryzen has been absolutely cleaning Intel's clock for almost 2 years now...no comparison really. Intel is just running on momentum, slow to adapt enterprise customers and those who don't research. Thanks. My next PC will sport a Ryzen, and will attempt to cost as much as Bob's Apple Mac Pro (not sure if achievable on a PC). That will be when we moon (i.e., quite soon).
