2181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will satoshi come back and give his 1 million btc to users of this forum if BTC on: September 17, 2022, 07:46:25 PM
I cannot fathom why satoshi would have that thought that he'll distribute the 1M btc that he held for a long time to the forum users. He's not obliged in doing that and it's unlikely that he'll come back again. Let's accept the fact that if he's gonna back it should be long time ago and he's like us that probably tempted to sold all of those already.
2182  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to proper trade in you asset in this market situation? on: September 16, 2022, 11:48:20 PM
That's right, with the current conditions, we really have to think about managing finances and investments.
expenses need to be reduced and as much as possible to buy really important needs,
It's not an easy thing for sure to face conditions like this but somehow we have to keep trying to survive
As you reduce your expenses, don't compromise the budget you'll have for investments. Still, keep on investing while budgeting everything that you can.
Remember that in a bear market and financial crisis, there would always be people that takes this as an advantage and opportunity and the next millionaires are created at these times.
2183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: What Exactly Is Open Network (TON)? on: September 16, 2022, 10:46:07 PM
I've been following this cryptocurrency for more than a year, but to be honest, I haven't seen much development. Yes, she may have a future, but it's very confusing in my opinion. Analysts and the ambassador assured that as soon as the mining ends, the price of the coin will fly to the moon, but this did not happen. And I'm not sure that even in a bull market this will happen.
Same goes for me. Since it's a Telegram project and token, I thought of it of being success because they already have a huge number of users but they didn't capitalized it.
With the development, I don't think that there's enough development on it for which made the project like floating for how many years. Not interesting anymore, they should have been more extravagant when the news about them exploded.
2184  Economy / Economics / Re: How to be more effective working remotely. on: September 16, 2022, 09:42:53 PM
Staying on my room with an AC is more enough to start. No distractions, no noise and I'm like in a cave of a modern man.

People have been complaining about being less effective working from home than being in the office. I quite do understand that it was because of the environment and sometimes working from home has many disturbances that will affect our job and performance. I'd see the calm environment in the office and also all the things we needed are there. Well, maybe it was a sort of adoption to the new place and time adjustment which is a little bit challenging but I know it was still manageable.
I understand those that have told that and it's normal to say that while doing a new setup. But they'll realize it sooner or later if they want to go back in the office, dealing with daily traffic and commute. That's a lot of hassle to face with just to be productive as they say.
2185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum (ETH) on Its Way to $2,100, Top Trader Says ! on: September 16, 2022, 08:41:19 PM
No doubt that it can increase. The merge is done and if there will be future updates, it's going to be more interesting now that ETH has now a limited supply.
It's seen that ETH is becoming now more deflationary but on the other hand, it's now also more centralized. Unlike before, it was semi-centralized. Now, it has fully become centralized.
Ah so that is one of the effects of the merge? Where eth supply is now going to be known. If it's possible for it to pump before when its supply is unknown or unlimited, then how much more when it can become scarcer over time? 2.1k is going to be a piece of cake for eth and we can't even consider it as an increase but it's only just a normal recovery.

Eth is already known as a centralized coin so even though the merge can it more centralized, it won't really be that shocking. We still have many decentralized coin out there and one of it of course is bitcoin.  Eth can only be good as an alternative if we want to experience the different functions of a crypto or blockchain technology.
There's the update before that makes a part of the transaction fee to be burned. And with the merge, having the supply known, it's really possible that in the future it will become more scarce.
But, only those whales really are the ones benefiting on this one while the small holders will rely on them and has to wait until things are better as the market reliant to bitcoin. It's not shocking for those who already knew it, but that's what it is right now.

Yes, since the merge is complete already and there is no increased at least to $2k, so I guess the predictions are very wrong. But you can't blame those speculators as this is really a big news for Ethereum and it's investors.
I'll give it time for those predictions, it's still too early to say that they're wrong but it could really possibly wrong but as said, let's give it time to flourish.

Maybe it was just the timing, and then we have the CPI that really took a big toll on the market recently that stop our momentum. If there is no negative news, I think that Ethereum can easily top $2k because of this news. So what we hope is that this merge or improvement will really have a big effect price wise in the long run.
Billions were wipe out in all the markets and I agree to you if there was no bad news, we might see ETH flying now and at the same time bitcoin is too.
2187  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not panic. Everything will get better on: September 15, 2022, 10:33:37 PM
It has became a norm that people sell at panic and they're doing that out of their losses. It's a stop loss for them because they'll think that they'll get more losses.
A friend of mine has sold most of his bitcoins on 2018 and that didn't made him able to go back and never bought back. Now, he's at lost and never came back to the market regretting being a HODLER and enduring all of the pain of the market.
Patience and hold can be a solution in the midst of the current red market conditions. That's an option that I've practiced so far and I think it can be applied by people who buy Bitcoin when the price is above the current price.
Market conditions as it goes is very good to buy. This applies to those who look at Bitcoin from a price point of view. For me buying Bitcoin is not for short term, but for long term investment.
There's nothing we need to do when we're in the midst of the reddish days. Holding is the best choice if you want to stay on this market but with good cryptos that you're holding.
Not with some random altcoins that you're going to hold and you expect them to grow with the top ones. That's not how it goes but at least you practice holding and being patient.
2188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin should u mine right now? on: September 15, 2022, 07:15:19 PM
Hi folks,

After the successful (apparently eth merge), me and many others as eth miners, should ask ourselves not only which is the most profitable coin right now but which one will still be lucrative in the future... that means it should be a very solid coin and project

Today ethw is fully operative to be mined but couldn't find anywhere if it is profitable now or not... where could I check that?

Any help and advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance
It's still fairly new and you guys have to wait maybe a couple of days or even a week or two before you see another profitable coin comes out. For now, you're all in a waiting game until a coin comes up and shows that it's profitable to all of you.

so this time won't shut off my rigs even if I lose money for a while, 1-2 years is my estimation timeframe for starting the party again, thanks to btc halving so "mining" btc has more sense now than ever before hehe
As long as you have a source to pay for the electricity for you to keep holding what you're gonna mine, that's better.
2189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum (ETH) on Its Way to $2,100, Top Trader Says ! on: September 15, 2022, 11:55:51 AM
When Ethereum reaches ATH, the Ethereum price has a chance to go up, the price is $2.1k I think -50% of ATH, but the current situation can increase the price, where the Ethereum Merge is taking place and the next announcement of sharding is a new history for this achievement, currently the market is more dominant towards Bitcoin, Altcoins will definitely follow and we just have to wait a little bit
No doubt that it can increase. The merge is done and if there will be future updates, it's going to be more interesting now that ETH has now a limited supply.

2190  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not panic. Everything will get better on: September 15, 2022, 09:57:47 AM
Panic is a normal thing that we experience when we see prices drop, but if we sell when panicking it will make us lose and later regret, as investors we must understand that many types of investments take time to profit, and this also applies to cryptocurrencies , buy and hold for at least a year then we will likely profit.
It has became a norm that people sell at panic and they're doing that out of their losses. It's a stop loss for them because they'll think that they'll get more losses.

2191  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin will always remain the best choice on: September 14, 2022, 11:19:03 PM
There are clear and obvious reasons why we prefer Bitcoin, but I think its most important features are portability and divisibility. Today's world has relatively convenient and comfortable facilities compared to the past, but world history has not always hosted such lucky periods. If we make predictions about what we might encounter in bad times, we can better understand the portable and divisible properties of Bitcoin.
The most important to me is that it is scarce. That's one main reason for someone who looks for assets that he can depend on in the future. Having that limit in supply is what makes it an interesting and a good choice for those that are not really good in investments.
Understanding that simple economics would lead them to be open into more other assets upon finally having bitcoin as part of their portfolio based on that criteria.
2192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rug pull scams on: September 14, 2022, 10:09:44 PM
A'right.
I know and understands if he's talking about those smart contracts scam because they do really exists. This scam is quite new and has a lot of victims already.
~

I'm not quite sure if this kind of scam is quite new, the code that required to execute the scam is likely inherently possible on the smart contract since its early age. I tried to look around for this kind of scam, it dated back to October 2020[1], and the Squid Game issues are happening around the late months of 2021. So non-sellable smart contract has been exists for some time.

It's true that some people easily fall into this kind of scam since the characteristic is only observable via the smart contract code. But on the first hand, people really should think twice when they gamble with brand new tokens, I mean it's preventable.

[1] https://www.reddit.com/r/UniSwap/comments/jkxd6z/nonsellable_tokens_on_uniswap_how_to_recognize/

I mean that it's quite new that many are voicing this out. But yeah, it had happened in the past but only a few have spoken about this style.
Nonetheless, this scam is still around and still tries to get as many victims as it can. It can be avoided if someone has knowledge and is aware of it.
But sadly, not everyone is.
2193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Strategies changes with time on: September 14, 2022, 09:05:26 PM
if we understand the market movements, the strategy we use can be dynamic, but it also depends on the existing market conditions, so we can cut losses early, and the most important thing is that we must have a reason for every decision, so that it is not based on mere feeling. Moreover, the smaller the time frame that we use, of course, the more dynamic the strategy used according to the needs of each trader
The fact that many traders have been basing their decisions sometimes on their feelings is what makes them having a bad decision. It's not going to be gone and it could happen anytime to any of us. That's why strategies really are dynamic because they changes overtime, no matter how good you are with your current strategy, you will have that time to replace it when it's necessary. We make mistakes but if you don't learn anything from those, you're wasting your resources.
2194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to LUNC after its founder is arrested?! on: September 14, 2022, 07:46:02 PM
What do you guys think?
What is the fate of the Luna Classic coin after the arrest of Do Kwon? Will after this bad news investors will continue to HODL the LUNC coin?
Why are you asking this just now? Isn't it that when the original Luna has dropped together with UST, that's already a sign that people should have their enough from these projects? And now with the arrest, it's obvious that you should have just dumped the token when it was pumping.
After that problem they've got, there's really no more credibility on the people behind these projects. Think of a stable coin that has dropped to zero, damn, that's already a total red flag.
2195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your diversification strategy? on: September 14, 2022, 06:50:46 PM
How does BTC play into your balance or diversification?

What does your pie chart look like?
My portfolio is composed of btc, a few alts and real world assets like real estate. BTC and real estate share almost the same amount in my pie chart.
But, btc is more having in terms of value because it's just down these days because of the market situation but during the bull run, it's like 4x-5x more than the real estate that I've got.
2196  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it advisable as a starter to engage in future trade? on: September 13, 2022, 10:34:25 AM
Good advice to take a risk-free decision if you are a beginner.
If there's a choice with a risk free way of trading, choose it. But to be frank, there's no way that a risk free trade will do. What we can see with these risk free ways are the trading simulators because there's no money involved.

you have to think about it for the losses that you will later feel. everyone who was already in the circle had already felt the loss they might incur.
Loss is inevitable and every good and bad trader will experience it regardless of his status and experience.
2197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Price To Buy Ethereum on: September 13, 2022, 09:02:39 AM
Ethereum is a coin that continues to grow, especially the Merge plan that will occur in a few days, I'm sure there will be a lot of surprises after Merge
Things are still uncertain during and after the merge. But just like everyone else, I'm trying to be as positive as I can so that I'll be able to see how my ETH holdings will grow. It's possible that we see that it will grow with a skyrocketing price and then a dump shall come afterwards.

and I think the best price to buy is a few days ago when the price is below $ 1000, but if we think it's too late then we can buy immediately.
It really was the best time and I've seen it at $900. Those that have purchased around that time, they've made a good timing as the merge is approaching.
2198  Other / Archival / Re: Entrepreneurship or Office job? on: September 12, 2022, 11:46:40 PM
Job and business are cool, doing a business is like investing some of the money earned from your job, doing this is building more money and if the job is to be no more the business is something that can be rely on.
It's cool when it's already established and stable. Having a business isn't for everyone's cup of tea, there goes those people that don't want to take risk and don't like to do more effort than what they do in their jobs. Business owners aren't just like a type of person that boss around but they're the ones that established the beginning of it and does more job than everyone else.

To build wealth it is impossible for one to only rely on the money earned from job. Every billionaire have a business doing.
It's true but there are high paying jobs that you can be set off for life if you have one.

~The coding for these investments prevents people from selling the bitcoin after purchase, so investors are left with a valueless investment.
I don't understand the last sentence but taking it with what you're trying to say. It's true that these scam investments coming from tokens, coins and even NFTs, they'll just leave their investors with nothing once they're done with the project.~

What he meant is likely a type of smart contract that is designed to prevent the selling of a token, a kind of the Squid Game smart contract scam. So the smart contract is just coded with a specific address in mind, which is, it's the address of the smart contract creator itself. That specific address is the one that will only be able to sell tokens, every other else can't sell it, but they are only able to buy or move it.
A'right.
I know and understands if he's talking about those smart contracts scam because they do really exists. This scam is quite new and has a lot of victims already.
Aside from rugpulling, they're doing this so their victims has no way to avoid losing.
2200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Terra Classic recovered? on: September 12, 2022, 09:56:40 PM
Heck no!

If the price has been 10x from now on, of course we agreed to say it recovered, if the price comparison before dropping with now, of course it is still too far, it takes at least 3 times a large pump to be able to make investors interested in investment luna classic again.
If we calculate that and then we'll still end up with a no. It has recovered even it will get a 10x of increase. Right now, after the good pump that it had got.
Look at how massive it is with it drops and that's why no way that it's recovered and not good to hold that you can lean on your future on it for someone who prefers long term.
