2241  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Basic trading strategy for newbie to make a profit on: November 26, 2021, 07:42:42 PM
Due to social media bounty and airdrop getting less payment. I decided to make a trade.
But I'm really confused how to start the trading so that I can make a profit daily. I need a reference where I can learn about it.
If anyone have a good chanel sugestion for learn in trading crypto, please reply.
Thank you 😊

There's no such strategy that will guarantee you a profit on a daily basis, therefore no channel I can suggest to you. If you want to be consistent in trading, learn the basics first and learn from your every mistake so in the long run you'll become a better trader and be consistent in making a profit.

No specific channel you can find, just combine all the resources you can find in the internet, youtube, forums, and even on social media.
2242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Governments planning a Crypto Crackdown? on: November 26, 2021, 02:02:49 PM
Recently, many governments have been showing increasing animosity against Cryptos. While the US is preparing to launch a Blockchain surveillance plan, other countries such as Sweeden are showing signs of moving towards a crypto crackdown by criminalising mining.

Should we be worried about this?

This is worrisome as although our countries may not be affected but it will hinder the global adoption we are hoping for crypto. This action of the government will not kill bitcoin since there are also countries that are legalizing bitcoin, so it will still continue to exist, however, it will only be limited due to harsh restrictions implemented by some countries.

The purpose of bitcoin is decentralization and anonymity, if they'll kill that purpose, there's no reason it will progress.
2243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NO..India is NOT Banning Bitcoin on: November 26, 2021, 01:32:32 PM
I often read articles with the same title at different times. it seems the regulations are still not firm until now and the regulations are the same as in my country. Bitcoin can only be used as an investment asset, not as a means of payment to protect of their future CBDC
Most likely we will see more countries following the same, developing countries might have this kind of policy as bitcoin could be a thread on their CBDC if they'll allow it to be used for usual transactions. The thing is, if they will allow crypto, it will be a battle of centralized and decentralized currency, and people with likely use decentralized currencies due to lack of restrictions.
2244  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is recovering on: November 26, 2021, 12:41:54 PM
The recovery was not successful because once again, a major dump is happening, and looks like it's a downtrend.
Per exchange report the 24h low is 53,500.00... that's kinda scary as in just 24 hours, the price has been dumping, hopefully it will not continue to drop as panic will certainly take place.
2245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is more important Hype or Utility? on: November 26, 2021, 12:11:13 PM
Both are very important, without hype, the project won't gain the attention of the investors and they will not know the potential of the project. A project that is full of hype without utility is bad, just like Dogecoin and Shiba Inu IMO. So be smart, all look at these two factors if you want to be profitable.
2246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: November 25, 2021, 09:55:14 PM

He might get tired if his style will not work against Casimero.

Casimero is a great counter puncher, he has a deadly punch that would hurt and KO an opponent if not careful in the ring.
Look at what happened in the fight against Tete, Casimero was just waiting for the right timing to counter Tete and his plan succeeded and that punch changes the fight and he won by KO, it's an upset since Tete was the favorite.

Fan fact, Tete beet Butler, so most likely Casimero would also beat Butler.

Casimero loves that kind of fight. If Butler will throw lots of punches, the chance he might leave himself unguarded. If that happened, Casimero will take that advantage and will attack him back. Very interesting to see both fighters to exchange punches and try if how tough their opponent was, I missed the time when the kind of Marquez-Pacquiao fight.

Both are aggressive and really giving all the best when inside the ring, not sure if this will be the same or we might see that kind
Of fight again once Inoue and Casimero match happen. Roll Eyes Cool

This should be different because this is the first time they meet and Casimero does not have the speed and power Pacman has. Still, it's a very interesting fight to watch as this is his ticket on fighting Inoue, so he has to win this to bring some hype and continue making trash talk on Inoue until they'll finally sign a contract.
2247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How reasonable is it to invest in Bitcoin in the current situation? on: November 25, 2021, 09:28:57 PM
Very reasonable especially if your plan is to hold it for long term.  however, if you are investing for short term, then I suggest that you wait until the market will dip or correct as usually, that's the right opportunity to buy so you'll earn a short term profit. There are situations now that bitcoin would just dump then recover in the next few days, just like the current situation, it dump at $55k and now we are going to $60k again.
2248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: November 25, 2021, 09:06:45 PM
I'm checking for an update of the fight and try searching for the odds and I fould this.

Quote
WHAT WERE THE ODDS ON CASIMERO VS BUTLER?
Paul Butler is currently (+100) to win the bout outright, while you can get (+100) on John Riel Casimero if you fancy the incredible upset.
https://box.live/fights/casimero-vs-butler/

I'm not sure if the odds are reliable because AFAIK, Casimero is the champion and the better fighter, with +100 for Butler, then most likely the odds for Casimero is very attractive.
Currently Casimero 31-4-0, 21 KO while Butler 33-2-0, 15 KO. Actually if you look at the statistics they are both quite strong and indeed have great potential but if you look further in fact this is clearly in Casimero's favor and it's not wrong that Casimero is the favorite to win this fight.
actually butler is a good boxer and let's not forget about him being a world champion but butler has a problem with his punches he throws too many punches which is pointless in my opinion and this is definitely going to be taken advantage of by casimero

He might get tired if his style will not work against Casimero.

Casimero is a great counter puncher, he has a deadly punch that would hurt and KO an opponent if not careful in the ring.

2249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 25, 2021, 01:18:53 PM
Exactly, but Canelo sees the possibility that he might lose based on the last two fights these two met in the ring. Let's just respect the decision of Canelo but also remain optimistic that one day his mind will change and will give the fans an opportunity to see them fight again, I mean that should be another epic fight and everyone will be watching it, for sure.
I'm not sure how popular of an opinion this is, but I wasn't overly impressed with Cancelo last going out against Plant, I thought up until the TKO he looked rather lackluster. He was winning the majoirty of the rounds, but certainly wasn't at his best. So, I would say it would be a legitimate concern he would lose the third fight.
He bet Plant and that's the most important, if Plant were also thinking of winning, he could be more aggressive, but no, instead he was just fighting to survive. What I want to see is the fight that Canelo had some trouble, and that is the fight against GGG, a trilogy fight.
2250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My plans for the next bear market on: November 25, 2021, 12:50:46 PM
I think I will sell everything I have (btc and alts) in the end of december, to USDT.

1) transfer it (usdt) on Tron on my ledger
2) Wait months
3) Wait again
4) buy back when bloodbath looks over
5) triple my holdings

Main question about my plan is it safe or not keeping usdt for months?
Your plan seems good and TBH, I'm thinking of that strategy too when the bear market comes.
The question is will 2022 be the start of the bear market and you are selling all of your coins and hold USDT? Because if the opposite happens and it continues to go upwards then you will incur losses in your portfolio.

There is nothing wrong keeping USDT for months. There is this risk of getting potential gains when you held BTC and ALTS rather than holding USDT and worse if it didn't go the way you like then you will get losses. Its better if you will just convert a percentage of it into Fiat, wait and then buy when you feel that it is low than converting it to USDT. Keep a percentage of your holdings too to hold BTC and ALTS just incase they will go higher then you'd still gain profits.

Diversifying your investment is very important, which will minimize the risk.

Be smart and be realistic all the time as a bullish market does not exist forever, just like our experience in the past, we have a bear market and bull market, so it's just a matter of timing and we have to do the right timing if we want to be successful in trading and investing. Of course, no one can predict the right outcome all the time, but with proper research and learning from our experience, it's not impossible to be consistent in trading.
2251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 24, 2021, 09:51:22 PM

Well, right now the 76ers are in a bad situation right now, Danny Green, Tobias Harris, and Seth Curry are in question if they can play against the Golden State Warriors, their Injuries are just minor Seth Curry has Lower Back Stiffness, Danny Green has Left Hamstring Tightness, Tobias Harris has Left Hip Soreness so hopefully, there can still play against the Golden State Warriors.

Better wait for the official announcement or the game time to see if these questionable players will suit up or not. If not, then it would be an easy win for the Warriors again, and most probably that -10.5 spread that has not moved until now will be covered. Of these 3 players questionable to play, Tobias Harris IMO is the most important as Sixers lack a big who could score inside.
2252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 24, 2021, 09:35:01 PM

Yes, it's a majority decision but there was one judge who score the fight a draw 114-114. So it was really very close contest between the two, and we all know that the first fight was a draw. So by far, he maybe the winner of the fight between the two, but majority of the boxing fans still not convince that Canelo won  because of how the way it was scored so we want a trilogy which Canelo doesn't want to give GGG. So there's still a lot of questions on our mind.

Canelo decide not to give that trilogy to GGG but instead he went up to another division chasing his fate to get another belt from different weight instead of favoring what fans are asking for him, personally, if the trilogy will take place the amount of possible profits is far better than how much he will earned from his upcoming fight.

There are many fans who continue to believe that GGG can beat him and regain the title.  Roll Eyes Cool

Exactly, but Canelo sees the possibility that he might lose based on the last two fights these two met in the ring. 2253  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: November 24, 2021, 09:49:56 AM
After becoming undisputed champion at super middleweight Canelo is now prepared for his next challenge. He will be moving up two weight classes to face WBC cruiserweight champion Ilunga Makabu. This opponent is not very well known but he has a high knockout percentage with 25 KOs in 28 victories and he has not had a loss in over 5 years. It will be an impressive feat if Canelo can become champion at cruiserweight after starting his career fighting in the jr. welterweight division.
Makabu is not well known in boxing world but his record shows that he is not an easy opponent. But does he have a previous opponent that he won through KO which is familiar to anyone? If not, then this fight is his big break to become popular.

On the other side, no doubt Canelo would be the favorite here especially after his recent fight to Plant. Once again he proved himself as a legend.
Nope, Makabu's previous opponents doesn't ring a bell to my ears either. I'm also surprised that I don't know this Makabu in particular given that his records and KO rate are impressive. His last match was on December 2020 against Durodola whos records are 34-8.
Such a very short notice for Canelo to prepare against this powerful and undefeated opponent but I know Canelo will be able to stand this fight knowing his skills and brilliant mind.

I guess everyone would agree that Makabu name doesn't ring a bell to the majority of us. I mean the weight class the most everyone followed is the 147 lbs and above that, we don't know that much except maybe GGG in 160 and Canelo in 168 and then the HW champions.

I think Canelo though has enough time to prepare for this fight and he doesn't need to weight drain himself to make the CW limit. And he can only go 180 lbs and still consider a CW. He can make 168 lbs easy because that's what his body is used to, but he can still go and build considerable muscle to reach the CW.

Of course, that's why Canelo is a heavy favorite because his opponent is not a popular fighter, however, if you look at his boxing record, you gotta respect the guy because he really has the power, and since this is a new division, we should not be too confident that Canelo would still dominate.
2254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 24, 2021, 09:30:39 AM
Certainly youth and physical preparation will be Logan's strengths. Mike in the training videos looks really impressive for his age, it's really hard to believe that he looks so good. However, a video of a minute of training will not show what will become the body in a few rounds. If Logan will put to constant pressure, he could make Mike tire and the ending could be his.
Yes, I believe, age is an important factor during a fight, but it's not decisive.
Tyson is still experienced and he can perform several combos (punches) quickly.

I believe that another advantage of Paul is his height (6-2 / 188cm), while Tyson has "only" 5-10 / 178cm.
Probably Paul's wingspan is bigger than Tyson's, and with that he could hit Tyson even from a long distance.

But Tyson is used to fight bigger guys before, so for sure he still has that experience under his belt eventhough he is already old. So for me, I doubt that Logan Paul knows how to take advantage of his reach against even a ageing Mike Tyson.

And with that, it will still be Tyson who has all the tools, power, experience. But this could be another setup exhibition though.

Paul's advantage is only his age, aside from that, I don't see anything that he can use to beat Tyson. The majority has spoken, and we can see in the betting odds of this fight that Tyson is the favorite, so most likely he will win as he has a high chance of winning.
2255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 23, 2021, 12:44:45 PM
Was a knockout artist 19 years ago. We do not know if he could box on a same level with professionals and still knockout them. In the past he could knockout everyone, right now he definitely could easily knockout a regular person.

He is not the same 19 years ago but his opponent now is not a professional boxer, or a boxer with a lot of boxing experience, so the advantage is still on him and I'll gladly put my bet on Mike Tyson to win here. I don't trust whatever strategy Logan Paul will use as he has not won a single fight in boxing.
2256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 23, 2021, 12:09:10 PM
Let's wait for the betting odds to be available as betting on the ML for Loma does not make sense unless you have huge capital.

If you are looking for attractive odds, betting on KO in a specific range of rounds would be the answer, mostly, the round ranges are per 3 rounds, you just have to make a good guess and put your money, or bet on Loma winning by decision, maybe that is higher than the 1.15 odds.

I don't chase high odds as it increases the risk of losing. I try not to take risks, so it is more important for me to increase my deposit a little than to take a risk and lose a part of my deposit in case of losing.

Calculate how much the probability of winning decreases when betting on one of the ranges of rounds and if you are satisfied with such risks, then place this bet.

Well if that's your technique, I have nothing against it, every bettor just has a different technique in calculating the risk. A bettor like me loves to take a high risk with a low bet, that way I don't feel so much affected when I lose and I will have a lot of fun if I win. In the end, we all make a guess because no one can predict the right outcome all the time.
2257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to avoid all scams? on: November 22, 2021, 11:09:18 PM
you can not avoid all scam, trust me... i am here from years ago and still got scam even if its only small amount compare to my first year in this industry. the only thing you can do is deep due diligent and make your chance getting scam smaller but not 0 chance. scammer were smart people or maybe the condition which makes us got scam ( want to get rich fast because of FOMO ).
No, we can still avoid them but not in a way to stop them coz they will find another way. For as long as they're still people who want to become instantly rich. There is no way to eliminate this thing no matter what we do. I think we have to accept that this is a part of the market and besides, it helps the victims to realize and could tell that there is no such "instant rich scheme" in real life. It all has been accompanied by hard works and dedication before we're going to reach our goal.
2258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 22, 2021, 08:55:29 PM
And 3rd is the Thunder getting 11.5 against the Hawks.  I think they can run with them and this will be a high scoring shootout type of game.
I like the 3rd pick, OKC is not really a bad team, they lose their 2 games but in a competitive manner.

Giving 11.5 to the OKC seems too high for me, so I might as well join you with this one mate.
Also, I'll take the ML as well, just a few dollars to add some excitement, you know what I'm saying.  Smiley
2259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What I understand about bitcoin on: November 19, 2021, 08:52:35 PM
Bitcoin is a digital currency that provides you with different kinds of earning including trading, stalking, mining, etc. As concern to the guaranty & surety of some business or trade, it does not happen anyway. In business, there are ups and downs and The man who comes into a field to earn . He has to take risks. So it is said," No risk no gain:.You can see that millions of people, companies, banks institutes, and businessmen are e involved in the business of digital currency and it is enough that BTC has more than a decade period of life.
In the first place, those who come and get involved in crypto must have known the risk. All the ways in earning a profit from here correspond to risk and if we got mistakes, losses are usually its return.
On the other hand, we can't underestimate the market. But if you will invest in Bitcoin and hold this for many years, I'm sure you will get rewarded. We can really see that this project had placed an important role in the market that it find a reason why it has a sustainable market gain than seeing it crashed.
2260  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Start somewhere on: November 19, 2021, 03:25:56 PM
For me, starting small from starting big is not different at all, I mean you all both starting however your point of view is still the same regardless of how much you have in the start. For example, you have a $100 as a starting fund and the other one has $1000, so if he bet $100 on his first trade while you bet $10 on yours, it's just the same.

You don't have to compare yourself from others, what's important is you know how to manage that starting capital of yours to make it big as the time passes.
Capital really matters in trading and if we think that to start big amount in order to get more profit? It is still uncertain...but the possibility is that you might lose big also if you are not doing well. But to start small amounts while learning is in great advice by most, I think we need to follow it and in fact, we can top more funds if we are too prepared and have enough knowledge.
But anyway, it is all about our choice, we can risk more and start huge amount if we can afford to lose, nothing wrong with that provided that we don't blame the market nor the others.
