The lack of asks is what drives a bubble. Growth pattern -> people afraid to sell, asks wiped out constantly -> More growth.

Hi everyone, I want to point out that Jon got the first three perfectly correct. He called the 2.6 bottom EXACTLY, then a 2.9 spike EXACTLY, then the stall out at $3 EXACTLY :O up LOL. We missed the 2,80 target by a hair (I think we went down to 2,90ish, don't remember. The rest was spot on. I hope you didn't choose tobecome a "MtGox Verified User" a few days ago  Oh damn. That would be it. I thought that was a strange email. Had just been getting back into Bitcoins, hadn't yet read the forums, thought it was some verification program because my account had been inactive for awhile. I probably did indeed click the link in that email. Seemed to take me to their actual website. Well, I'm at least glad they only got about a dollar worth of BTC. What nature of hack was that, and should changing my password be enough? oh wow... so they managed to get someone with that. :\ |

I don't think the "Bitcoin100" name should be associated with this, if you want it to be taken seriously as a charitable giver. Making Bitcoin100 political will hurt it's ability to approach charities.
By all means, organize a BTC for Ron Paul drive but I think you are mixing two distinct things together which shouldn't be mixed.
+1 +1 The only other thing I worry about are the campaign finance laws which say a candidate has to report all donations and who they came from. Though obviously I love the idea.  +1 for the comment about Bitcoin100 |
