2661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which stablecoin do you "trust" the most? on: June 11, 2022, 07:25:12 AM
DAI is decentralized which still creates another problem. What we see in a decentralized one is the fact that it is managed in a "system", so if someone brokes in there, suddenly it could be "hacked" or whatever it would be called and however it is done, and it could crash.

When there is someone there, like a centralized stablecoin then we are talking about those people not being trustworthy, like I do not trust Tether for example, when it's DAI and decentralized, I do not believe that it could be kept there and there is no one protecting it. So, both of them feels a bit bad, I never really trust anything that says "we worth x much" and stable, that just doesn't make sense in crypto for me.
2662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a good list for longterm investment? on: June 11, 2022, 06:42:56 AM
It feels like a list that was made by random dice rolling and nothing more. I get the btc and eth part, then maybe matic would make sense as well even though it is not a known and loved one as much as btc and eth, but at least it is still a known one. after that it makes absolutely no sense at all. Apecoin? Really, so you are telling me that OP is asking if Ape which was created based on some overhyped NFT project, is a good coin to invest or not?

Aave, which already seen its prime, or even Astar, which is a coin I am hearing for the first time ever. This wasn't done to ask a serious question, OP just wanted to troll and nothing more, nobody would make a portfolio like this, at least nobody should.
2663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 10, 2022, 10:02:15 PM
Practice is not really something that we should based the real races on. I mean just because one is better than the other on practice, doesn't mean they will be doing anything that will matter, it just means that we are going to end up with something that would be "similar" on how they will driver, the mindset, but not the pace.

As we all know, during the race we start with much lower paces, and then break way above these levels and be super fast by the end of it (fuel). So, do not be shocked if Max leads the whole race, or Charles does, or Perez does, or hell even Sainz could do something like that and I wouldn't be shocked to be fair.
2664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brandable Name for Gambling on: June 10, 2022, 09:01:21 PM
This is exactly why stunna and primedice team bought stake. I mean they could have turned primedice into a casino as well, they didn't need to buy stake, and they bought it for a pretty cheap price if I am not wrong, cheap compared to what they are doing with it right now of course.

But, they bought it because they believed that if they had a good brandable name, they could be working everywhere, and they got handles for it as well on social media. If you can buy a name like that, which is both English and brandable that would be perfect. If not, then do not go with xxxdice and put whatever there, or anything like that, make it reasonable and related to the topic.
2665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is more to this SEC investigation? on: June 10, 2022, 03:06:44 PM
There is really nothing going on with it, it is just a regular thing and we shouldn't be shocked about it. I personally believe that SEC just saw that there is a good chance they could end up making some money from it, investigate it further, find any loopholes or problems there, and end up using that to extort money out of Binance saying they did something wrong.

Binance will want to continue to work with USA, so they will pay it, to keep it silent and not create any issues and that way everyone wins. Remember the old USDT one? That was a hoax as well, USDT had a ton of problems but paid a small fee and got out without any damages to them at all.
2666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC domination meets resistance so will we have another altcoin season on: June 10, 2022, 01:28:18 PM
This isn't always the case, it needs to be a bull season at the same time as well. Like when bitcoin reaches 70k, and then it fails to go up, and domination sees a resistance, that means we are in a bull season because it reached so high but can't go any higher due to how much money is required to make it go even further up, so people instead move to other coins and use them to make it go that much higher.

I personally would prefer it this way, makes a lot more sense. If you are insisting on this, then we are going to be quite upset about the situation because we are not in a bull run, and expecting alts to have a "season" right now would be a bad expectation.
2667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Optimism got hit hard on: June 10, 2022, 11:06:49 AM
There will always be some that will try to scam customers, and there will be some that will pay. There is no denying that this happens in all parts of the market, it could be put into anything. Like there will be some casinos which are legit, and some that will scam you, or you could go with some exchanges that are legit and some exchanges will "exit scam" people.

We could say plenty of versions of this and bounty is no different at all. I could have gotten paid a lot more if I went with a bounty for example instead of a regular btc paid place, and yet I didn't, why? Because of the unpaid risk, if someone tells you 100% guaranteed 50+ dollars vs no so guaranteed and risky 100 bucks, you go with the 50+ one for sure.
2668  Other / Archival / Re: What do you expect from bitcoin in the second half of 2022? on: June 10, 2022, 05:51:40 AM
Bullish is what I am expecting for the upcoming second half for sure. If we had a time to drop this low during the first half of it, then why shouldn't be capable of increasing back again for the upcoming period? It is totally possible for all of us to see something like that happen again. I am not saying that we are going to see 100k or 200k or something like that, it may not happen like that.

But at the very least we could see like 50k+? I mean would that be so hard to achieve, it should be something quite simpler and we would be able to make a lot more profitable decisions based on that. Hopefully we would be doing a bit better in the short term, like during summer, at least 40k, and then during autumn we would do like 50k+ and get in 2023 with an increasing momentum.
2669  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would you be willing to support anyone who gives the most accurate predictions? on: June 10, 2022, 03:41:56 AM
I have to say, I do not trust any person that says that the price will be "exactly x when we hit Y date" because that is not a sustainable thing. Certainly you can say one right now and be right, hell do it 10 times and be right 10 times, but when you hit long term, it is not going to be true.

Moreover, we are talking about supporting someone who didn't risk anything, and wants to take a cut from the profits, and not taking any responsibility if there is a loss. I would be willing to share 10% of my profits, if that person is willing to give 10% of my losses back, would that person be able to do that? I doubt so, hence why I believe that it is not really a good deal.
2670  Economy / Economics / Re: Italy Is Held Back by 2.6 Million People Who Have Given Up on Work on: June 09, 2022, 09:25:52 PM
Something "about" similar is going on in my nation as well, and as far as I know minimum wage workers in USA as well. The minimum wage is so small that, there are people who know that they will not be paid the amount they deserve, and even the amount they can survive. If the poverty line is 600 dollars a month in a nation, and you offer them let's say 250 dollars, then do not expect those people to work.

Hence, there are a ton of people who are not even seeking jobs anymore, they are getting unemployment checks which forces them to go check a job, and that ended up with them not getting paid and they keep on collecting the welfare instead. Business' need to offer more in order for people to go back to work.
2671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: June 09, 2022, 08:18:59 PM
I really didn't expected Celtics to get ahead on this series and they did it twice. I get that the first game could be a shocking situation, Warriors didn't know how to play against Celtics, they of course scouted them a lot but they just watched them, actually playing against a team during finals is a different situation.

However, the third game, this one that Celtics got a win, is a different situation. First of all, it is obvious that Draymond Green is just a dirty player who doesn't have any talent and only shined because he played with Curry and Klay, let that be open. He had a great season or two, but right now he sucks. Secondly, it is not enough for Curry and Klay to score, but they need better defense for sure, Tatum and Brown running circles around them at this point.
2672  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake and primedice are the worst gambling sites on: June 09, 2022, 07:01:54 PM
It is really funny to think what would happen to the world if stake was the "worst gambling site", like imagine the website that deals with drake, ufc, nba and watford all at once is actually the "worst" one, there are so many that would be doing much better than THAT, it would be a dream world to live in.

I seriously would love to have stake as the worst one, I mean I imagine how great stake is right now, and think that the greatness of stake would be shrimped by the greatness of all the others that would be even better. But unfortunately, we do not have that and right now stake is the best one out there, could be challenged, but not right now.
2673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 08, 2022, 08:14:09 PM
Racing incidents are part of the racing world, it just happens without any type of mistake, when you are going that fast, sometimes mistakes happens. I get that when you repeat it, that becomes a bit of a trouble and if you let it happen again and again, you will be seeing that and people will riot eventually, or protest at least.

So, you need to make some people examples on why you shouldn't do that in repeat, but then you are missing out on real racing and seeing people who are staying away from each other's paths in order to not get high penalties, which is good for the health of the drivers, but we are not seeing 100% given in that case.
2674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 08, 2022, 06:32:48 PM
Lol the cartoon is great. I have to say, winning UCL matters of course, but when you offer someone 120 million to stay and 60 million each year he stays, thats a bit of an overkill, you gotta accept that.

I do not know what Real was ready to offer, but I am 100% sure that it wasn't even 50% of that, this is the difference we are talking about. Could they offer 30 million a year? They possibly could, but in that case they wouldn't come close to 60 million for signing bonus neither. Not like they have no money, they offered 180 million for him last year, meaning his signing bonus plus one year price would have been paid already, and they could have looked for the other season later on.
2675  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which timeframe do you use for day trading? on: June 08, 2022, 05:51:12 PM
You have to realize that, the best time to trade is your own time and nothing more. Since crypto is a 7/24 thing, you could find any timeframe in the day where you could make a profit. I have to say when it is "daytime" for Europe, it is still getting a bit of an action, but do people in the USA trade it a lot? sure they do, or Asia? Sure, they do.

This is a proof that we are in a situation where things are not really that much of a trouble for anyone and you could trade during any time frame. But, you need to pick one where you are awake and also not tired or sleepy, so it can't be very early morning when you wake up, or very late at night where you need to sleep.
2676  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: indicators on: June 08, 2022, 09:08:07 AM
As someone rightly said, 21 hours is definitely not enough to watch a coin if you’re using the BB indicator and that is simply because currently there’s no visible uptrend or downtrend on the market, it’s just moving downwards. You need to understand that most importantly, the time frame you set actually determines how much longer you have to wait and the idea of it rising back up after hitting the 30% mark is not actually a guarantee as conditions for such could change at any time.

Since you’re new to the system, I must advise that you spend more time understanding the movement of the market and how it affects price. If I must emphasize again, 21 hours is not even enough to watch a coin grow if you mean business, if this persists then you must need to change your strategy.
2677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold Guarantee Coin ? What you think on: June 08, 2022, 08:23:26 AM
This has been tried a billion times already, since gold is not internationally exchanged as easy as USD, it doesn't work. The idea of USDT is that we could just give it and get the real dollars into our bank accounts, meaning that we could cash in on that anytime we want on 1 to 1 ratio and that will work.

You can try to find any method you want, but it will never be gold backed, not going to be 1 ounce to 1 ounce ratio at all, because there are international laws that prevents a company to give gold to someone from another nation. Hence, we should always consider this idea as a pipe dream that will never work and should not even be considered.
2678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Optimism project on: June 08, 2022, 07:22:21 AM
I have checked it after seeing it here a few times, and I have to say it doesn't really bring in any new features that would make it unique enough to go up too much. Don't get me wrong, it is not a bad one, it just doesn't really capture anything new for the market. This is why I believe that we should not really be making a big deal out of this at all.

I get that we are going to end up with some coins that will be brand new and then take the place of the old ones, all the top 10 ones right now aside from 3-4 of them will be replaced one day, and that is what people are looking for, the ones that will replace, but optimism doesn't look like that one.
2679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Profitable are Gambling Bots? on: June 07, 2022, 10:01:02 PM
I have wagered with bots, and even autobetting on the websites itself, there is no "profitability" in any bot at all because it is a casino. What part of "house always wins" people do not understand? You can use whatever you want, you can bet anyway you want, you can use any strategy you want, and in the end you are going to end up with a loss.

All you have to do right now would be to make sure that you are betting with money that you are willing to lose, and have fun. The house edge of 1% will always end up with you losing money, and that is the profit margin that the casinos have, and if you ever think that you won't, and you will profit, you will end up upset.
2680  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price suddenly dropped from $ 31K on: June 07, 2022, 09:05:31 PM
I get that many people may think that we are in a bear market but I feel like we are in a stagnant market and I am tired of saying this. Bear market is when everything is down and goes down, we already lived through that already. We are in a market where everything is about the same and nothing changes. That's not a bad thing of course and we need to just learn how to live with it until we reach the bull period.

If the prices crash to 25k or lower then I would understand the frantic fear of crypto prices going down and the bear market being here, but we haven't been under 28k for a long time now, so we could just relax and look at the future.
