2701  Economy / Service Discussion / Looking for a non-KYC marketplace for selling CS:GO skins in exchange for BTC on: June 05, 2021, 05:28:15 PM
The other day, I stumbled upon a thread that was about gamers earning BTCitcoins, and two of the comments that mentioned "BitSkins" caught my attention [#3 and #5]. I did some digging and it looks like it requires users to go through some sort of KYC process, so I looked around for alternative options and the closest that I could find was CS.Deals but the main issue with it is their userbase; In other words, I have to price my skins lower than other marketplaces and even then, it takes a while before I could sell those.

Note: I already checked all of the mentioned alternatives [CS.Deals, Skinport, SkinBaron, and LootBear] from the following two threads [thread #1 and thread #2] and none of them seem to tick all the boxes...

I'm after the following things:

  • Non-KYC marketplace
  • Support for BTCitcoin payments
  • A similar amount of traffic [or userbase] to BitSkins
  • Reasonable fee
  • Legit

Does anyone know a better BitSkins alternative than CS.Deals?
2702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Maximalism on: June 05, 2021, 01:23:14 PM
This means that Bitcoin can do everything the other coins do today, if developers are willing to integrate new features into the network.
I think it's safe to say that's much more complicated than that [unfortunately].

Will Bitcoin render other altcoins "obsolete" in the long term?
I don't think realistically that's achievable by BTCitcoin, especially for those altcoins that survived that state, upon being introduced for the first time to the crypto-currency world.
- From thousands of existing or upcoming altcoins, there will always be some that'll have real use cases where BTCitcoin might not be a solution.

What I would like to se changed and improved in Bitcoin code is working on better privacy and private transactions, but I don't see anything that suggest this is going to happen soon.
Taproot [to an extent].
2703  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] SafeMoon Inu - plagiarized whitepaper on: June 05, 2021, 10:56:45 AM
Thanks for a hint, edited first post info.
You're very welcome... I just finished checking the above-archived links and it looks like there's an issue if we click the "View the archive here" button...
- Perhaps it doesn't have the ability to save PDF files like other similar websites.

  • This is the error that I'm getting:
    Quote
    }Err@Er{
This archive is experiencing an existential crisis
It has been deleted, moved, or never existed.

In addition, safemoon inu just created 1 post and forgot about this project/account, but uses newbies to bump his topic.
Thanks to the "Bumping changes on some boards", all of those bumps mean little to nothing but have you tried reporting it [might get trashed]?
2704  Economy / Lending / Re: Professional Loan Service on: June 05, 2021, 09:20:28 AM
Must be able to provide collateral and identification.
I strongly believe that this whole thing is nothing but a way to obtain personal information [e.g. IDs] from users, so you could use those things to your advantage, on other platforms.

I'd suggest staying away from this user.
2705  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: June 05, 2021, 08:20:21 AM

2706  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bigas PH are now accepting cryptocurrency? on: June 05, 2021, 06:51:57 AM
I also tried visiting yun website pero nakita ko na wala pa nga ang cryptocurrency as their mode of payment.
Nandoon yung option kabayan, kailangan iclick mo yung "CoinPayments" option sa listahan.
- Check mo yung "post [screenshot]" ni bL4nkcode.

Searching BigasPh po wala naman nakalagay na they are accepting cryptocurrency payment method.
Matagal na nakalagay sa FAQ page nila:

2707  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] SafeMoon Inu - plagiarized whitepaper on: June 04, 2021, 03:20:31 PM
You pasted an incorrect link; Here's the "archived" version.

That is the part of a whitepaper that is plagiarized. These 79% coincidence lead to MoonPortal whitepaper. Overall whitepaper is so poor on text, so just scrolling both of them will be enough to find that they are made by one person.
This one is closer than it looks... I checked Whois results for both of the above platforms and they were both created on the exact same day and despite SafeMoon Inu's creation time being 19 hrs after MoonPortal, they seem to be more polished [I do know looks can be deceiving] in comparison to the latter one [MP].
- What do you think? Could it be the other way around instead?

2708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fall from 65k to $30k was the best thing to ever happen to Bitcoin on: June 04, 2021, 01:10:37 PM
Bitcoin's drop from 65k to $30k is one of the best things that has ever happened.
Indeed but I'm looking at it from a different perspective than what you and most other users are discussing here...
- What I'm about to mention might not be 100% accurate, since I'm not going to refer to any of the charts but whenever we experience one of these ATH moments, it also results in huge spikes in fees [understandably] and when crashes of that extent happen, we're mostly left with true bitcoiners and that also leads to fees going down drastically.
2709  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Gamers Can Now More Easily Cash Out Bitcoin on: June 04, 2021, 11:26:28 AM
Interesting concept but if I understood everything correctly, players could end up losing more than what they've wagered [based on their skills and final scores] and I believe that is one of its downsides [apart from Jawhead999's comment].

I wonder how the gamers will earn bitcoins by playing Counter Strike:Global offensive.

2710  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [List] Bitcoin Payment Processors on: June 04, 2021, 09:39:58 AM
There are no fees (for the merchant)
For the most part, there's no merchant fee, but it looks like they do charge 0.0005BTC for each of the transactions involving external BTCitcoin addresses.
- IMO, that should be dynamic as opposed to a fixed fee.

Quote from: https://paxful.com/paxful-pay    What are the fees involved?
If you want to use External BTC addresses for transactions, then each time an external transaction is used, a send out fee of 0.0005 BTC is deducted from the amount.

and even though there is no mention of KYC in their FAQ page, I'm almost certain it's required.
I don't think a lot of merchants would choose a processor that requires their customers to either have an account with Paxful or force them to create one and go through a KYC process [I know it's just a phone number and an email verification, but still...] just so they could purchase something.

2711  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Question] Where to find holograms for aluminum Casascius coins? on: June 04, 2021, 08:13:16 AM
Does anyone know where I could find additional hologram stickers to load my coins with Bitcoin? Can't seem to find 'em anywhere on eBay, Amazon, or even crypto stores like Coins of Nakamoto or PhysiBit.
I looked around and found one on "RealCrypto" and also a few on Alibaba.
Note: I prefer to no vouch for both of the above platforms [DYOR].

You'll probably get better answers if you move this thread to the "Collectibles" board instead.
- Move button is in the bottom left corner of the page.
2712  Other / Meta / Re: Is it time to increase the Emojis ? on: June 04, 2021, 06:22:44 AM
If you look at other applications like Whatsapp / telegram etc, they offer so many more choices of Emojis but in here we have only these few Emojis .
I don't think it's fair to compare such applications with a forum [they belong to a different category].
- Check other forums and you'll see the difference isn't that much.

Is it time to increase these Emojis ?
It's not; I can't really see a need for adding more of those.
2713  Economy / Gambling / Re: 👱‍♀️ Mummy's Ultimate Crypto List on: June 04, 2021, 05:49:18 AM
Reply / comment feature is placed now
Pretty sure I'm not visiting the website from a cached version, but still can't see that update on your website...
- Am I missing something or you were just referring to the comment section at the bottom of the main page?

the plan was that visitors should rate the link by clicking the thumbs up symbol.
You might want to consider adding a thumbs-down icon as well.

It doesn't seem to have a report button for each of the listings, so I'd suggest adding one as well.
2714  Economy / Services / Re: Are you looking to list your coin on Crypto Exchanges? on: June 03, 2021, 06:39:27 PM
I have recently joined as a listing representative for Coinsbit Exchange. You can contact them directly through mail or telegram its Head of the Partnership and ask all the required information about me.

Thank you !

And my name is Ronak Surana for you to ask and carry out your investigation Smiley
Sorry Ronak, but I won't spend a single minute contacting an exchange that everyone knows it's a platform meant for scamming their users [you should've done more research prior to offering such services]...

- Just check their "ann thread" and also the "trust summary" of their representative in this forum.
- Forget about offering such services for them [will probably get tagged if you continue] and I'd suggest locking this thread as well.
2715  Other / New forum software / Re: Be Back at EpochTalk on: June 03, 2021, 07:06:41 AM
Can we have the GIF or moving images as AVATARS on the new website?
I just created an account for testing purposes on one of the forums [Coinbistro.com - Epochtalk testing grounds] that's using Epochtalk and I was able to upload an animated avatar.
- Having said that, I don't think we'll have that feature when it launches [it annoyed a lot of users back then].
2716  Economy / Services / Re: Are you looking to list your coin on Crypto Exchanges? on: June 03, 2021, 06:12:02 AM
list your coin on crypto exchanges.
~Snipped~
I work as a listing partner
~Snipped~
2. Discounts of up to 30% on listing fees.
You might want to mention in which one of the cryptocurrency exchanges you can help with listings?

Btw, care to provide a list of coins that you've successfully helped with their listings in the past, so we could do a background check with some of the developers?
2717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla Competitor to Launch First Electric Car That Mines Bitcoin and Dogecoin on: June 02, 2021, 06:55:42 AM
will be able to mine Bitcoin and Dogecoin while parked.
That's going to be one loud car while being in a parked state Cheesy
- It's not going to be a significant earning but it's at least something new and hopefully, this isn't just a marketing strategy.

According to U.

I think this one should be the appropriate source instead: Link
- You can also find a bit more information from "this" link.
2718  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: GPU Mining Equipment on: June 02, 2021, 06:01:29 AM
We are a large company; we won't go first or use escrow.
A large company with no reputation means nothing to this community.

We are looking to make a quick and easy deal and willing to not get full market value because of that.
In other words, scam newcomers to make a quick buck.

It's about 30+ sets of our used equipment that we used in mining.
~Snipped~
Don't have time to fully test things, just want to get rid of it all.
If you've already used them for mining, then why even mention not having enough time to fully test it?

basically everything for mining except for the GPUs.
I will throw in some extra parts that may or may not be working as well like some GPUs and ASICS as well.
So suddenly you changed your mind and became generous, huh Huh

Easy money to be had for sure.
Yeah, right! Roll Eyes

Due to multiple red flags, I'm temporarily tagging your account until you can prove us wrong [previous users have already mentioned what you should do].
2719  Economy / Collectibles / Re: ANACS no longer grading physical cryptos? on: June 02, 2021, 05:02:48 AM
Wonder if they would honor the previous form which expires on December 31, 2021 where crypto services are available?
Unfortunately, I don't think the previous submission form [regardless of the mentioned expiry date] is going to have any effect; They've now completely removed the "crypto-themed physical tokens" from the "All Non U.S. Mint Coins" section of their services and have also mentioned the following on their website:

Crypto-Themed Physical Tokens
This service is no longer available.
2720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's addressable market on: June 01, 2021, 06:07:50 PM
How likely do you think this is and to what extent will Bitcoin replace some of these asset classes as a store of value?
I don't know why some of the users always compare BTCitcoin with something that clearly belongs to another category or field; It's like you're trying to compare water with a fruit, vegetable, and meat [you can't place all of them in a single contest].
- Each one of them comes with its unique feature as a store of value and we're going to see/use them side by side for a very long time.
