I think the whales are limited do to the way this coin has been mined thus far with the 50mh cap. If there are going to be whales they will only be because they purchased large amounts of MIN from day 1. I don't see how there is any true whales at this point because of the cap. And we want people to buy this coin. I think a min.multipool will not do anything good for this coin. Its holding its own just fine considering the limited access to both mining and trading.

Your saying, min.multipool will mine other coins to purchase MIN and payout will be in MIN. (in the name of protecting the coins value by purchasing large amounts of MIN) Is this not exactly what blackcoinpool.com has been doing with blackcoin after it went POS? look at their stats now... very low miner count, blackcoin is in the toilet in price again.... that concept is basically failing for the most part. Plus the pool operators there, I think got a little greedy with how they used others hash power to mine and then buy and distribute blackcoin as payment. Any miner with any sense saw it was a bit of a rip-off.  For me I still say stay out of the multipool business in everyway shape and form for MIN. Let it be NON-MULTIPOOL if its going to be used as BCPOOL has done. it is failing.
Why not just let the average miners and investors set there own course and nature will do its thing with this coin. NO-MULTIPOOL

No multipools! maybe I missed something but this fly's in the face of the whole concept. If people want to mine MIN let them join one of the pools already in place through pow phase? Tell me why a multipool should be allowed ...I'm not seeing it.

I have to get off here and do some chores,  but folks hold on to your minerals, the price should be at least double from where it is right now and I expect that should happen soon. Its just my take on things right now, but what do I know?  lol later! 

At the moment I still think there is  a lot of potential here with Minerals, but the dev is going to have to tip toe through the tulips to achieve his goals if they are in fact as they seem. If so, I see this coin gaining great value, as well as setting a precedent for other pools and coin devs to follow to bring to a close the madness that has devalued MOST other Alt coins to date, and benefitted only a very few. It has to stop, and I'm referring to the out of hand rig renters, the multipools, the overall flood of one shit coin after another purely for pump and dump by the above mentioned. Its time for a coin that has some real meaning and a future with a clear usefulness. Oh did I mention I like Star Craft and my son has every version out there, even though since taking up mining I have played very little games lol

If anyone has noticed, dedicated pool in particular has cozied up with all the big rig renters and multipools, and has been making money hand over fist for a few months now catering to them.... especially with the growth in x11 x13. So I certainly wouldn't expect anything encouraging or nice to be said from them, albeit they run a great pool network.

There are some who are sick of the manipulation of all other new coins x11 x13 being hammered to death by rig renters and those f*king multipools... thats why I'm still here wanting to see this coin make it. If not I/we can always pack up and move on as we always do  I am open minded and will try anything once......

I'm sure that's quite true but seems that would not be in the devs best interest, and the coin seems to have a lot of interest from the community, but the lines are being drawn in the sand about the good and the bad of this approach now.... I'm somewhere in the middle still lol If the price holds where it is now I will give it a little more time today to see if bittrex can come up with anything for us, if not I'm going to another coin. The worst that can happen is miners get disillusioned and leave, like me, at that point the coin is dead or will see a certain quick death and may never see pos phase?? NO MINERS = NO COIN

This is a very interesting debate. I for one, like the concept of limited m/h mining. Puts mining back on an even playing field for all. The downfall is no exchanges till after pow, which is ok, but hinders the immediate value of the coin, and for some miners a quick return is needed or a portion of for electric bills, financing of equipment etc. IF dedicated pool and so on would agree to the stipulations of the 50 m/h limit then give them the code. We're at block 8515 at the moment, so it will be a long haul until we reach the pos phase. So this coin probably will not see it worth until then, which does suck. Maybe it the price to pay for the concept.? I do wish Bittrex and the devs would come to a quick resolution however, I'm not sure about all that crap binaryclock was referring to and the secret society BS? he kinda spoke out of both sides of his mouth I feel. But lets face it the only ones making any money off of mining is the pool operators, the exchanges and the coin devs, and usually the miners doing all the work, get what's left over after that. I'm all for what's in the miners best interest not the pool operators. We shall see with this coin if its going to do anything for fairness for the miners..... so far yes but is being hindered with no exchanges involved,,, come on bittrex!!!

Wow no kidding! steam huh? lol ya I have deeper ideas of how it could be done without any copy right infringements or actually even having to get involved with the game makers,,, oh well I'm sure someone is hot on the idea/concept already. Somebody needs to incorporate a good PC game (with a coin) based on finds or monster kills or something, or is in one case, the number of kills in like call of duty, bf4 etc.... and ya starcraft too lol Players can use that coin to wager into a game/round and be paid out accordingly. I know it was tried with counter strike, but don't think it took off and was based on btc not alts.... k, just thinking lol maybe that what this coin will be for. In D3 I think they have stopped real money auction houses, for various reasons, but blamed it on player fairness,,sorta like this coin capped at 50mh lol, but here is where an alt coin could find its worth in the gaming world,, what a market to tap into

I like seeing the cap at 50 ....  simply awesome and refreshing, and yes maybe some value will return to alts if this done across the board... I see it as inevitable.
