3961  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin recover again above $ 8000? on: May 17, 2019, 08:22:04 AM
bitcoin even could rise more than 10k dollars, there were some positive sentiments that made the price of Bitcoin rally.
You only need to be prepared for everything that might happen.
I have been prepared all of this time and I'm just waiting for bitcoin to start getting into that level again. There is more positive movement this time than last year and it encourages everyone that we are on the bull run. More money is getting in on the market now and it is likely that came from the instituions despite of Binance hack last time.
actually bitcoin has entered at a price above $ 8000, it's just that I see that this is still unstable. several times the price of bitcoin touched a price of $ 8300, and then dropped back. I think in the near future, the price of bitcoin will stabilize above that price. now all we have to do is hold back.
Bitcoin has now fallen in price, but it seems that this is its temporary correction. For several days, it held in price above $ 8,000, but today, according to CoinMarketCap, it has dropped to $ 7,134. This is normal for him even during the period of his growth, so after some time we should expect his further growth. Therefore, this year he will definitely overcome the mark of 10,000 dollars, perhaps this will happen even in the near future. True, what will happen next is still quite difficult to say.
I think this correction is needed for bitcoin to gain more momentum, what we have seen from the drop of $8400 to $7200 is, more investors are rushing to catch cheaper price levels. I think I am also of the opinion that next likely value bitcoin might touch from this momentum will be $10,000.

It really takes strong hearts to really deal in this market that is so much full of unpredictable things, some people are still believing strongly that the market will still get a big corrections to $5800 before the big bull run which they could even prove technically, but the point of correction is what is yet to be known, which I am suspecting it to be from $10,000. What do we think?
3962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: May 17, 2019, 07:17:13 AM
If you are good for a whole season that means you are a good team, if you are good in one game that means you were on your day. Tottenham and Liverpool could play 7 game series like NBA and I will bet my house on Liverpool getting that cup that way, however when it is only about 1 day that means Liverpool and Tottenham will have to play their hearts out and be the best they could be for that 90 minutes only instead of 40+ games a season with league and Europe and cup and what not.

Tottenham could be on their best performance that day and Liverpool could suck just for that day and everything could change for that 90 minutes. Of course, Liverpool is still clear favorites and will most probably win but this is football and you can't really know what goes on until the last whistle.
3963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 17, 2019, 05:23:56 AM
Big teams like Barcelona and Madrid do not get players just because they want to play them, they get players because of two reasons. One is they have so much money that they have to spend it on something eventually, they don't think like other clubs to get 10 million dollar Wonderkid that will change their lives or something, they outright give 100 million to hazard and be done with it because they rather do that then actually find stars.

On the other hand they also want the opponents not to have those great players, hazard and griezmann are both great players that should not be on another team and even if you bench him its better he is on your bench then on other teams starting eleven. You can't really deny the fact that these teams can spend 200 million a year and still profit insanely and then not spend money crazily on these players, any one of us would do the same as well.
3964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Gambling Sites to use Bitcoins on: May 17, 2019, 04:48:38 AM
I think they do not even have that much of a great support to be honest with you. They just run their business so well that they have very few issues about them which makes it really not that important on support as well. Less complaints equals less support need.

I am not saying their support is bad, if there is ever an issue their support always figures out the reason and helps the customer right away so that is why they are still great but the difference is they actually do not help that many people per day since there is really not that many issues on that website. So, the customer support on a horrible website has to work overtime and has to find solutions to terrifying issues on some crappy website whereas the stake support is actually lucky to be working on such a dreamy place.
3965  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Intraday vs HODL on: May 16, 2019, 06:04:54 PM
i dont think holding in this time will bring us more profit than trading when the market is getting higher back higher every day, holding wont help you get more profit so as trading when we can easily have the huge profit everytime the matket fluctuates, and also be able to control our fund more effective and safer than just holding.
That's a common thinking of those who can work with day trading, if you can proceed and make any good trading strategy you can practice and make a good profits each time you play with the sway, make sure to assess and analyze your skills.
It's nice if we are in assessing ourselves, we could be bias sometimes especially if we have a problem with handling our loses.
Being a day trader is not easy, you will have to ensure that you have monitored the market all the time as you are looking for the right entry and good timing does not show all the time.

Fast money, needs fast action as well, that's how day trader do.
Day trade is a full time job on its own and whoever will engage in day trade must be sometime that has passion for trading and is dedicated, which is the only way one can make profit on a daily basis. A day trader must always be prepared for losses, as no matter how good a day trader is, the entry point will always be a difficult thing which makes them vulnerable to losses. These things are not so easy to really maintain as an ordinary investor.

The best for ordinary investor is just to invest when market is dip and take profit at a satisfactory rate which is usually at the ATH of any coin that is a less tensed investment.
3966  Economy / Speculation / Re: THE FOMO! on: May 16, 2019, 03:14:52 PM
a while ago i started a topic here talking about the FOMO that is going to occur when the price rise begins. here is the topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5108231.0
although there weren't that many votes but it seems like most people got the right answer (the shoot up to $5k) which was the FOMO that i was talking about there. the initial leg up which shoots price upwards $1000 in a couple of hours.

now another question. what do you think the next leg up is going to be? maybe you think there is no FOMO and only a slow rise this time?
lets see how the results are going to be this time...
Like a true prophet you spoke. The FOMO has already begun. We are already past $8k. Who knows, $10k may be the next level by nest week.

Honestly, I wish the FOMO wouldn't be there so that we can have a slow and steady kind of rise. The fresh monies coming in should be gradual so as not to cause a similar dump we all witnessed in 2018.
But, how can we really be certain that FOMO is really partaking in this price increase, to me, I feel fomo is yet to set in, and this increase we are seeing is just as a result of some good projects being released into the market that are quite attached to bitcoin.

Let us take for example, I heard of 2 great retailers very popular who has integrated bitcoin as payment for their products, I have heard of tether news about their over printing accusation, and I have heard of Binance disabling withdrawal and depositing of coins in their exchange for the main time and many more, these factors coming all together at same time could be a major reason for the spike.
3967  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is This The Last Time To Buy Bitcoin Cheap on: May 16, 2019, 10:03:27 AM
Judging at the current price now, IMO it's a yes.
We will not be seeing a cheaper price, last year and early this year was the only opportunity for us to accumulate, so I hope we made a good decision.
From what I am expecting of bitcoin ATH this time around, I think anytime is still cheap to buy bitcoin from now till end of the year, from end of the year, it will keep getting difficult as it would no longer become cheap again, for a value that would have been half way into the new ATH.

This value now is still a reasonable price which I am still investing in, because I trust that we will not see any dip again for us to buyer cheaper than the rice we are seeing now.  So I don’t think that anyone really still interested in investing now has missed out that much as the fish to be caught is still so big and far bigger than what we see now.
3968  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will go a bit down, ALTS a lot down, then BTC again a lot up on: May 16, 2019, 09:35:42 AM
I see this scenario to happen before next larger move of BTC up:

BTC will slide down for like 5-10%, ALTS will go down double that amount at least, BTC will gain again even larger dominance and after that it will go again even more.

Your thoughts on that?

Right, this is what you call volatility. There could be large swings in couple of hours. Other's might see this as unexpected, but for more season traders this is a golden opportunity to earn during this large swings. Right now though, the whole market is pumping, bitcoin crosses $8k and then some alts in the positive 10% increased.
I knew I have read something of such before, thank God I am seeing this again, this op must be a guru in analyzing, I think the time he predicted this, bitcoin was just above $7k, and low and below, the price actually dumped by 15% and from there was when bitcoin jumped within a short period of time to $8000.

This time around, I am waiting to see if bitcoin movement now plays by the rule, if it does same this time around, then I will take this as a strategy to be taking very big profit.  I have not really been focusing on alts for now, but seems they are also following too, let’s see what we can get out of them.
3969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Current bounty campaigns that can make you rich? on: May 16, 2019, 08:43:43 AM
Can I get great contributions on how I can participate in a campaign that will add more value to my wallet?

You can choose by many of bounty campaign in bounty section by doing research one by one if you want to participate. But you can't participate if you are a newbie only because jr(dot)member is the minimum rank to join campaigns.
Some of these bounty campaigns that really don’t pay hunters are really heartless, imagine after allowing people first working so hard to build an account on bitcointalk which is not so easy, and you can imagine staying with a campaign for so long and then not getting anything from it.

Well, as many people and us will always advise, we should continue in the quest if sporting out the right ones, and even in sporting our the right ones, we still need to pray for luck to shine on us, so that those good ones will also not change their mind along the line because it is not all campaigns that started well, ended well.
3970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bear market season change to bullrun? on: May 16, 2019, 07:36:03 AM
in my opinion, the bear market is finally over. the prices have risen sharply in recent days and that shows that the bear market is over. i think so slowly, a new bull run seems to be started.
Same hear too, I think the bears has been completely surprised because I can’t feel their presence again, the market has totally turn green now as I can see that some altcoins are constantly running on green market too along with the Bitcoin, so I expect the major bull anytime soon. This little drama of bitcoin we are seeing is just a tip of an iceberg of what we should really be expecting, so I will say this is a semi bull run that is giving  people the privilege also being a part of the next RUN through any investment they can still make now. It would not be a wise decision if one buy some alts now.
3971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How safe is Bitcoin gambling on: May 15, 2019, 05:47:19 PM
Considering in blockchain gambling there are safeguards that could prevent scams compared to regular online casinos that have none of that, we can assume its at least "safer". But, do not think that just because its safer it means it is definitely safe, there have been a ton of problems of casinos taking everyone's money and run with it and since it was crypto there was very few things people could do about it.

Many even got away with it and became rich thanks to their scam. Now I am not saying its all bad in crypto but its not all good neither, if you find a place that is honest and fair then bitcoin casinos are far superior than fiat casinos for sure, however if you try your luck on an unknown casino in crypto world then you may get all of your money stolen for bs reasons too.
3972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dont be dumb gamblers on: May 15, 2019, 05:14:28 PM
Normally people take time to understand the difference between a good and a bad casino. One should be responsible for one’s own acts and should never point at others for their losses because when you are in the gambling arena, it is assumed that you are very wise. And a wise man will find the best gambling site. There are so many over the internet and you can know about them if you try to give it a search. Try not to be part of the sites that has a KYC.
Understanding the differences between bad and good casino isn’t so easy mate. You all are making it look like the only sites that scam are the unfamiliar ones and there are still few new sites that are genuine, reviews sometimes can even be deceiving. Some scam sites can actually look so real that you might be needing extra ordinary effort to detect that is scam.

Best advise really is to gamble on known sites, we have a lot of them here and if any negative thing happens, we know how to bring them to book.  I can never ever gamble on a site with KYC, that is one mistake I wouldn’t make in gambling, its trash. Why should a gambling site ask for KYC, for what use exactly?
3973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People who gamble are degenerates, change my mind. on: May 15, 2019, 04:17:26 PM
Yeah as better this is the way I started to play betting. I have started to bet when there is a high chance of winning unfortunately I lose. This is where the taking another opportunity to bet and win the lose. Yes, I could win but most of the time I lose.

Now, I learn my lesson and that is to keep calm and cool when betting. Never bet when one is not calm for it will lead to a baf decision making.
That only way one can be calm in betting is to avoid anxiety and I noticed that anxiety is always common with people who want to make fast and quick money from gambling. Why the anxiety actually?  I feel the essence for varieties of games in gambling is to get fun. Gambling is not a source of income and even when any player desires to play for money, he should at least play moderately.

It’s so nice when we play the game for fun but at the same time we have to be disciplined not to get addicted because such game that can be so interesting if not controlled can result to addiction. The best thing is just to play the game moderately.
I play for money actually and I do not play with anxiety but rather I am calculative in playing. In my opinion I feel anxiety is even more common with those of you that gamble for fun, so many players who I see gambling for fun get so excited with the game that they usually run out of control and start spending excessively on the game because they want to fulfill their desire to be happy.

For me discipline and self-control is really very important even when we gamble either for fun or for money. There are people who gamble for money that get addicted, same as those who gamble for fun. The only people that  can ever be exempted from gambling addiction are those with self control and can play in moderation.
3974  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance hacked. 7000 BTC stolen. on: May 15, 2019, 03:38:48 PM
Do we know exactly how it was stolen? Like the way they stole it, I am pretty sure binance is either working on covering that loophole or covered it already. If they haven't found how or at least haven't fixed it then they can keep it a secret of course so same thing wouldn't happen but if they have fixed it I would really love to learn how they hacked something as big as binance.

These hackers are trying every single possible way to hack binance and binance is trying to protect themselves all the time. I don't know how long it could stand, today it was 7 thousand bitcoins, maybe tomorrow it will be 70k bitcoins ? Who knows. As long as hackers keep trying millions of times every single day there is absolutely no way of knowing if binance will be hacked or not again, I am betting at least once more and possible even more if they continue to operate.
3975  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Litigation with Binance - jurisdiction, regulators on: May 14, 2019, 05:32:43 PM
I think that Binance is Hong Kong based,I don't remember.
I don't understand what are you trying to say with your post. Are you scammed by binance?Do you want to sue them?Is this case connected with the recent Binance hack?
Hahaha, he would have just looked for an English translator to do the job for him instead of using Google translator that cannot be as perfect as humans in interpreting it. I don’t think Binance scammed him because he mentioned something like 8 months, which Binance never had any issue of such or anything related to tether, could it be that its bitfinex he wants to mention and not Binance.

Binance has no relationship with tether, its bitfinex product and they alone should be responsible for that. Anyway, he has already put the original post which is in Russia and I hope we can get a Russian translator here that would help out.
3976  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on the way to $10,000 on: May 14, 2019, 04:27:38 PM
It was a surprise for me because bitcoin performing very well in this second half of the year. I thought the growth of bitcoin this year would go slowly until after the halving is done but it seems that the big investors can't wait any longer and decided to pump the bitcoin instead. But I believe that this price uptrend is a part of cycle and if the current pace continues, it may reach the $10k level before the yearend.
I use to think that it won’t be possible because of the initial slow and steady rising of Bitcoin which I have always wanted for a healthy market, but now, I have to change my thought about that, the bull has finally entered and the little pull back I thought would slow down its growth has happened and couldn’t stop bitcoin uptrend.

Right now, I think we are way up bitcoin bull run , in which I see us really getting past the speculated price of $10,000 by the end of the year, there might still be a little chance left for new investors to still buy, bit this uptrend will definitely no longer pick a lower value.
3977  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin rises very fast! on: May 14, 2019, 03:30:02 PM
I can't believe that we have managed to do 100% profits in just 2 months. Only 2 months ago it was around 3500 even less and right now it is at around 8 thousand dollars and more, that means bitcoin as of right now is the most profitable investment anyone could have invested into. I do not really know what would be the next step from here, could it do another 100% ?

I mean it definitely "could" if that is what we are focusing on but are we really that brave to have that much of a jump once again? I am not really comfortable with bitcoin going up that fast again, last time we jumped high that quickly we managed to break down and went as low as 3 thousand dollars so I am hoping bitcoin will go to those high levels much more slowly this time around and fill up the gaps between the price and the future price.
3978  Economy / Speculation / Re: What price will never be seen again? on: May 14, 2019, 12:11:43 PM
With cryptocurrency we cannot have anything assured, in no time the market will change upside down. As for my concern I have been into bitcoin for more than five years I believe the price of bitcoin will no longer fall low to a three digit value anymore. Probably after the days of halving I hope the price of bitcoin to carry a five digit value long term.

I'm with you on this, I dont think we will see less than $1000 again.  Can we get back down to $2k, yeah that's not out of the realm, if profittakers come hard it could just as easy change the momentum downwards.  Predictions of btc fiat price is a crapshoot though, too many factors involved to actually use the word never
You know why it will be impossible for profit takers to really dump the price of bitcoin to as low as $2000, many people enter the market for different purposes, some are to buy and some are to sell, which everyone cannot make same decision at the same time.

The reason why we have seen bitcoin sometimes rise immediately it dips a little bit is because as soon as waiting investors sees the opportunity to buy at that dip, they do immediately to fill in the gap, and there are investors that will never finish always waiting to buy and sell, this market is a trade market, so it is not going to be that easy for one side to pull all the rope to itself without immediate correction.
3979  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulation of Cryptocurrency Around the World on: May 14, 2019, 11:29:40 AM
I hope 2 - 5 years from now, those countries which considered cryptocurrency as illegal will reverse their decision.
Just like facebook reversing its ban on crypto advertising, I think we will be seeing some good improvement in the long run.
Crypto regulation needs to take place, a standard regulation would help for these countries to understands how to regulate and eventually adopt.

Currently we are seeing and focusing on which countries are regulating the crypto ? and which countries have made bitcoin legal in their countries.
A time will come when we will be discussing why the few countries still left for regulating crypto. That's how the world will be changed in few years from now.
there are many reasons why many countries have not legalized bitcoin, and of course that country really understands the obstacles. but for me in the end the country will follow in the footsteps of developed countries or those who have legalized it first
Of course, they will have no choice than to join too, otherwise, they will seriously lag behind in future when full development hit the cryptocurrency world, that is why I like Facebook, after they have realized the future of crypto and how it will be impossible to really stop it, they had no choice than to join in the race too so they don’t lose relevance.

So most countries that are still quite skeptical about cryptocurrency now will eventually find their way to join late in future, as the large scale industries that really matters to them will find a way to use blockchain technology in running their companies, right now we are beginning to see few like paypal, Samsung. Facebook and others.
3980  Economy / Economics / Re: Why everyone learn from Warren Buffett? on: May 14, 2019, 10:55:39 AM
He is very successful investing using non emotional decision making which is most people's fault.  I've read some stuff of his and some of the best ideas I've taken away is dont be scared to buy when everyone is selling and sell when everyone is buying.  Holds true whether you are talking about stocks or crypto.
One of his idea has really been taken serious by some investors who are doing very well in cryptocurrency investment, which is to “buy when everyone is selling and sell when everyone is buying”, he might not like bitcoin, and many people might also not like him for this, but there are still some parts of his books that we can read which will be useful to our future activities.

Look at now, most traders have successfully applied that idea quoted above to their trade and anyone who has done that has really not made mistake with their investment, I have used it too, because every time I see the market dumping, instead of panic selling, I remember his words which eventually works for me later on.
