501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion [Odds updated!] on: April 23, 2019, 03:35:53 PM

[EPISODE 2 SPOILERS]

Two episodes down and no deaths as yet, I've got a horrible feeling that Episode 3 is going to be a bloodbath  Shocked

I really enjoyed the last episode, so many reunions, so much banter, so much #EpicForgeSex. It's not surprising to see some of the 'who will win the throne' lines move dramatically!

There's been plenty of movement in the other outright markets too:

- Jon to marry Dany in season 8? Yes (4.23) No (1.20)

^ They are running out of time, and with one or both of them in the front lines of the battle for Winterfell, their budding relationship could be 'cut' short (geddit?)

Weirdly one of the lines actually moved the opposite direction to my expectations:

- Arya to marry Gendry in season 8? Yes (3.13) No (1.33)

^ I think the two of them finally 'getting it on' has lead to people assuming one or both of them will die in the near future (as no one is allowed happiness in GoT) and so the marriage option is off the table.

And one that I wasn't expecting to see that actually got me a little worried...

- Will Hodor appear as a White Walker or Wight in season 8? Yes (1.52) No (2.41)

^ Thats some short odds for Yes. Hoping it's not due to a leak, i'm not sure I can take seeing the big man as a wight! Could lead to some surprises for the showdown between NK and Bran though.

What were your thoughts on Episode 2?

I went with CSK today so happy to see Bairstow go for a duck, my main worry was him and Warner racking up a score that Superkings couldn't catch.

Looking for Tahir and Chahar to go big today!

- Warner total Runs: Under 70.5 (1.92)
- Superkings top bowler: Tahir (2.22) or Chahar (11.0)
- Which team will lead after 6 overs: Sunrisers Hyderabad (1.57)
- Team with highest score at 1st dismissal: Chennai Super Kings (1.14)

Don't forget our margins are just 1%! Combined with low minimum stakes (10 sats) and the ability to back/lay your bets, we've got one of the strongest IPL offerings for bitcoin betting this year!

- 76ers v Nets: 76ers -9.0 (1.99)

- TrailBlazers v Thunder: Trail Blazers -4.0 (1.95)

As a fan I'm loving how the Raptors are playing, and they should breeze past Magic (fingers crossed).

I'm still worried about a repeat of last year where they got swept by the Cavs before the conference finals, the Celtics and Bucks are looking very strong this season and both went 4-0 in the first round  Roll Eyes

505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 23, 2019, 02:24:13 PM
Loving the battle for Euro placement this year, only 3 points between 3rd and 6th place!  Cheesy

I'm fairly confident Spurs will grab 3 points on the board against Brighton tonight, and with their current form I'm predicting a 3rd place finish.

Thanks to that glorious 4-0 spanking by Everton over the weekend, Man Utd are down to just +15 for goal difference, and I can genuinely see them finishing 6th this year unless they really start to pull some results out of the hat in their last few EPL games.

My updated top 5 predictions:

1st - Liverpool - 95 points (2 wins 1 draw)
2nd - Man City - 94 points (2 wins 2 draws)
3rd - Tottenham - 77 points (3 wins 1 draw)
4th - Arsenal - 76 points (3 wins 1 draw)
5th - Chelsea - 74 points (2 wins 1 draw)

What do you think? (I accept tips in bitcoin if this actually comes out!)

It's possible I'm allowing a dislike of Man City to cloud my judgement when it comes to Liverpool winning, but I'd love to see them nab the title.

@game-protect - This issue has been resolved. I'd appreciate if you could avoid bumping 6 month old threads to promote your own content.

In regards to your 'consumer protection service' - we only discuss the details of a player's account with the owner of that account, both for security and privacy reasons.

If you contacted us claiming to be acting on behalf of a player then you would be told to have the player in question contact us directly.

I assume that most reputable operators would work in the same way.

Afternoon all,

Hope you had a lovely Easter weekend  Smiley

@TrumpD - No worries! The margins are fantastic, and as deadley mentioned, the option to back and lay your bets has worked out very well for some of our players over the past couple of weeks with all the recent upsets (looking at you Superkings!)  Wink

@Queenvio - We do have plans to reintroduce eSports betting, it's currently being reviewed by our sportsbook teams but I'll provide an update as soon as I receive some more information.

As for adding Moneyline options to K.O, do you mean for eSports specifically, or for knockout tournaments such as the Champion's League? Either way I can pass on the request to our teams for review, I just want to make sure I'm passing on the right questions!

Glad to see so many eSports fans on here, i'm a big fan myself (mostly LoL, R6, and Overwatch ATM) and will have plenty to talk about when eSports lines are available  Smiley

@Jgod - I have questioned our sportsbook teams about the GoT lines and unfortunately thats the lowest the min stakes are likely to go at the moment, but as the lines keep changing i'll post with any updates I receive.

Thanks,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

Considering they seem to have nabbed assets from our website I'd avoid this one, if you can't get your own design work done then it doesn't reflect well on the rest of your site.

They didn't even bother to crop out the cloud from their landing page  Grin

Afternoon all,

There's another exciting weekend of sport ahead!

We've still got some of the best odds and the lowest margins (1%) for IPL cricket:

- Kolkata Knight Riders (1.83) v Royal Challengers Bangalore (2.18) - de Villiers total: Over 29.5 (1.92)

Can Tottenham keep Liverpool's EPL title hopes alive by beating Man City for the second time this week?

- Manchester City (1.28) v Tottenham Hotspur (10.5) - Total goals: Under 3 (2.35)
- Cardiff City (14.4) v Liverpool (1.22) - Liverpool -2.0 (2.11)

Of course if you want some REAL soccer action, you'll need to check out Leyton Orient in the National league where the title race is boiling over!  Wink

- Leyton Orient (1.86) v Harrogate Town FC (4.00) - Total goals: Over 2.75 (2.22)

Don't forget to check out the new Game of Thrones markets and get your bets in before episode 2 on Sunday, whatever happens the odds are likely to change significantly!

Just a quick heads up - we will have limited coverage on the forums from Friday to Monday due to national holidays. If you have any questions during this time please contact our support teams directly at support@cloudbet.com, or via the 24/7 live chat service on cloudbet.com. Otherwise I'll get back to you ASAP when we are back in the office.

Have a great weekend!  Grin

Those are some good variations in the bets on the game of throne.
Didnt know other then who will win to be able to sit on the iron throne was only other option offered.
Will be interesting to bet on then see the end results for the ones when a character dies.

I'm kinda interested in the "Will Arya Stark destroy Viserion in season 8" market (Yes: 3.130 / No: 1.333). I know she's a kick-ass warrior assassin with a steel sword and Valyrian dagger, but destroying a massive undead dragon seems like a bit of a stretch. My best guess is that it's something to do with the weapon that Arya asked Gendry to make for her (some kind of dragonglass spear?) but I still can't see it having the 'stopping power' required for a beast of that size.

512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion [Odds updated!] on: April 17, 2019, 03:27:04 PM

I just posted an update in our Cloudbet thread but I thought I'd share here too:

Quote
Our Game of Thrones markets went down on Sunday before the start of series 8, but now they are back in black like Jon after a night with Melisandre!  Cheesy

Not only have our minimum stakes dropped on our existing markets, but we are also offering new lines on specific outcomes from series 8! Here's a few to whet your appetite:

- Will Jon Snow marry Daenerys Targaryen in season 8: Yes (2.36) No (1.54)
- Will Bronn Kill Tyrion Lannister in season 8: Yes (4.33) No (1.19)
- Will Sandor Kill Gregor Clegane in season 8: Yes (1.45) No (2.62)
- Will Arya Stark marry Gendry in season 8: Yes (2.55) No (1.47)

You can find the full list of our Game of Thrones markets here.

My favourite out of all the new lines is probably Brienne to marry Tormund (Yes - 5.340), but only because I ship those two hard and want to see 'ol Tormund finally get the girl of his dreams  Wink

Has anyone placed a bet after episode 1? There wasn't too much revealed that changed the odds, but it'll be interesting to hear if anyone has seen the lines they bet on drop significantly after it aired.

Afternoon all,

Hope you are having a good week!  Smiley

I thought i'd share some updates to this week's most popular sportsbook lines!

- Man City v Tottenham (0-1): Tottenham to win (10.5)

Our expert's guide to betting on the Champion's League can be found here.

Game of Thrones

Our Game of Thones lines went down on Sunday before the start of series 8, but now they are back in black like Jon after a night with Melisandre!  Cheesy

Not only have our minimum stakes dropped on our existing markets, but we are also offering new lines on specific outcomes from series 8! Here's a few to whet your appetite:

- Will Jon Snow marry Daenerys Targaryen in season 8: Yes (2.36) No (1.54)

You can find the full list of our Game of Thrones markets here.

IPL Cricket

After a weekend of upsets the last few games have settled down to a more predictable set of results, but there's plenty of scope for further upsets in the next few games!

- Delhi Capitals (2.18) v Mumbai Indians (1.83)
- Kolkata Knight Riders (1.75) v Royal Challengers Bangalore (2.32)

We are offering margins of just 1% on our IPL markets, meaning we have some of the best odds available for bitcoin betting.

Microbetting

Don't forget, we recently lowered our minimum stakes to 0.0000001 BTC (10 Sats) across the majority of our sportsbook markets, so it's the perfect time to test our services for the first time, place that bet you have been been contemplating, or just go wild with a crazy multi with extreme odds - Bet Small and Dream Big at Cloudbet!

Took a gamble coming to the thread since I haven't seen the episode yet, heading back to watch it as soon as work is finished!

I just got to watch Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's interview with Jimmy Kimmel and there was a part at the very end of the video where Nikolaj said that all of the fan theories circulating in the web on how Game of Thrones will end are all entirely wrong saying that the ending was "sadisfying". Same goes to other actors of the show in tv appearances saying that all predictions on how game of thrones will end are wrong or at least no one have entirely guessed it correctly. So if you are basing your bets based on the books or based in other fan theories maybe you should have 2nd thoughts about it by now.

I read an interesting theory today that might actually play into this 'sad-isfying' hint.

It would be kinda bitter-sweet if Dany/Jon found a new kingdom in Essos while the Night King claims the Iron throne  Grin

That last round was brutal, dropped all my picks over the weekend with all the underdog victories. Can't believe KKR lost twice  Roll Eyes

Hoping MI can come out ahead of RCB today to save at least some points, but de Villiers and Ali are building a strong partnership out there at the moment (both 50+) and the MI bowlers don't seem to be able to keep the strike rate down. Can see RCB getting at least 175+ at this rate  Undecided

Rana just fell to a terrific yorker and now my boy Russell is in. Hoping for a big score from him, such a fun batsman to watch.

DC need to roll out Rabada to try and break this partnership.

Now that Gill has made 50 he can slog out and let Karthik come on to score 20 (so my bet comes in!)  Wink
