641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BlackRock CEO Says ‘Next Generation for Markets’ Is Tokenization on: January 10, 2023, 08:00:25 PM
What are your thoughts about this aspect?
I also believe tokenization of everything and anything will be the future.
Quote
This approach enables a different way to trade assets like stocks, bonds, real estate, or even alternative assets like land, wine, or art, allowing the transfers to be visible on a public ledger.
If this takes off it will open up a trillion dollar market in my opinion

Well BlackRock is the biggets investment company on the planet as far as i know of and the assets that they have under management are worth more than 10 trillion $ which is just a crazy high amount of money and wealth. Therefore a statement of the CEO of that company that is positive about cryptos is always a good thing in my opinion.
I am not sure though if it would really work out to tokenize everything. I think it is pretty hard to do for example with real estate. I mean as a owner of a house, you also have duties like to pay a share of the necessary repairs and stuff like that. All of that needs to be considered.
642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: January 10, 2023, 11:52:01 AM
I see victory ahead of PSG in this knock out stage, because their players will do everything possible within their power to achieve victory that will make them to have full confident of winning this UEFA champion league title. I don't think, Bayern Munich have the strength to stop PSG in this match because they are still lacking in the area of defense which will be one of the advantage PSG will use to have access to victory in this match. I believe, Messi, Mbappe and Neymar will definitely apply those skills they displayed in the FIFA world cup competition to play this match to stand in a good position to win the title.

I still think that PSG is the strongest team in the world, even though they keep on buying the biggest names in the world of football for at least 5 years now or so. Obviously PSG has probably the best offense in the world at the moment with Mbappe, Neymar and Messi but those 3 players alone don't guarantee any success yet. I mean the last season was proof for that again, where they got knocked out by Real Madrid, a team that was really not one of the big favorites to win the title back then.
So if PSG gets a good start into the game against Bayern then i think PSG will go through but if it is the other way around then i think it is very hard to turn a game around with players like Mbappe, Messi and Neymar because they do literally nothing for the defense.
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Is The level of impact of FTX crash on Your portfolio? on: January 10, 2023, 11:40:52 AM
So the question is.
1: What is the impact of FTX bankruptcy sega on your
    altcoin portfolio?
2: what is the level of your portfolio recovery because I am well aware that some coins have started recovering already,  but we can't be certain how long that recovery will last.

As everyone else i was also very much affected by the bankruptcy of FTX of course, but to be honest at that point my portfolio was already down so much that it didn't really matter anymore anyway to me. Back in may of 2021 during the height and the end of the last bullrun my portfolio had a significant value, even for first world standards and i think at that point i was like at least x100 in the profit zone. Of course i did not sell because i am a notorious holder and i always wait for a life-changing portfolio value and then the bear market came and even before the whole stuff with FTX happened my portfolio value was already down to a x2 of my initial investment and now i am maybe at a x1.
So yeah definitely a big loss because of FTX but after all that dumping the months before it did not really matter anymore to me.
644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 08, 2023, 05:52:48 PM
With Deschamps continuing on it's pretty much done that Zidane have to wait but I don't think he is incapable of managing an international team. He did great job at Madrid so I think he can handle national team job. Possible that he will need a bit more time to adjust but I believe that he will adjust into his role perfectly eventually.

I am actually surprised that Didier Deschamps continues to be the coach of the French national team. Before the final of the last world cup i thought that he would definitely quit, no matter if they lose or win that final, but obviously i was wrong. I think he also wants to win the European Championship with his team after they got eliminated in the round of the last 16 already two years go, even though they were the big favorite to win the title back then.
Also i think that club trainers are still more popular and more present than national coaches, simply because clubs just have way more games then national teams. So i also think the very best coaches in the world are usually coaching clubs and not national teams.
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Basically All Small Cap Staking Coins Had this problem on: January 08, 2023, 05:47:06 PM
There were not enough people who cared about keeping the project alive.  Few involved had enough deep pockets for that, and they selfishly out of need for paying their bills, crashed the price.  There needed to be things like airdrops and public education and they were too naive to understand concepts like that.
What could have been a great way of generating more cypto for one's money and remaining decentralized was far too beyond the lack of virtue in this space.

Well i think that is just how the crypto space nowadays is. There are literally hundreds of new crypto projects appearing each and every day and therefore it is pretty likely that also very good projects with a team of motivated and ethical developers are getting overlooked by the people and never really take off. All those stupid meme-coins that are still getting launched are also a big reason for that.
I don't really think though, that an airdorp would solve those problems. In the end those airdrops only attract airdrop hunters and those people are literally the one of the worst (right after the scammers) people in the crypto space. They have dozens or hundreds of accounts, join an airdrop and dump as soon as the token is tradeable. So i don't think an airdrop ever helped a project.
646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: January 08, 2023, 02:19:48 PM
I happy they are back from the holiday, PSG has an upper hand to win the game because of their front liners,no team will be able to stop them from scoring goals,if they have a clash. I don't think with these squad PSG will be able to reach the final stage in the league but I see them go far.
Bayern is good and are always in form at all time due to their quality players which they do have but their clash with PSG will be a tough one. I know that Bayern will do everything possible to win the match to show that they are better than PSG with the world football current superstars.

First of all i have to say, that i find it pretty unlucky that this match between PSG and Bayern Munich is already happening in the round of the last 16 because this could easily also be a final, as it already happened back in 2020. For me the outcome of this match is completely open, a real 50/50 game. Yes obviously PSG probably has the best offense with Mbappe, Neymar and Messi, but it has also shown in the past that it is not always a plus if you have those 3 players on the field at the same time.
All 3 of them are usually doing absolutely nothing to support the defense of their team and in todays football that is a very big disadvantage.
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real Estate Tokenization on: January 08, 2023, 02:12:35 PM
I have been researching Real Estate Tokenization for many years and I'm keen to hear your thoughts on the subject. I've gathered a great deal of knowledge on the topic and I'm excited to share what I believe is the most promising project in the space. But first let's talk about real estate tokenization.

Even though i can understand that the idea of the tokenization of real estate sounds like the next big thing to some people i am still not really sure if this would really work out smoothly in the real world. First of all i think you basically have to create a dedicated token for every single real estate object that you want to sell shares of because otherwise i think it would not work. Or maybe you could make a single token if you are a real estate company and then you could basically buy shares of every building that this company is owning and therefore get your share of all the revenue that this objects are creating.
Also you have to pay maintenance and other costs as a house owner. So this also needs to be handled somewhere if you want to tokenize real estate.
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto payments for online purchases: Trends in 2022 on: January 07, 2023, 06:14:34 PM
Here is a report from CoinGate
https://coingate.com/blog/post/crypto-payments-overview-2022
I found the report very interesting. We all thought that 2022 was very bad for crypto as bear market continued for most part of the year. But so far as crypto payments for online payments is concerned, the data suggests otherwise. There is increase in total number as well as volume of crypto transactions. Another interesting data in this report is that bitcoin topped the total share of all payments. 48% of the transactions happened with bitcoin which proves that bitcoin is still the King of crypto even after we have thousands of alt coins.

To be honest, i am pretty surprised, that there were so many payments made in cryptocurrencies in the last year. I am even more surprised, that Bitcoin was used for almost half of all the payments that were made with cryptos. I mean i only own some fractions of Bitcoins but i would never use them as a payment, because for me Bitcoin is an investment asset that is meant to be held for a pretty long time. Just like gold. I know that the initial idea of Bitcoin was to be used as a way of payment where we don't need any bank in order to make the payment for us, but nowadays one bitcoin is just worth so much, that it kinda feels to good to just be spent for a payment. At least for me.
649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 07, 2023, 06:09:42 PM
Everyone is discussing how much Bayern is richer and stronger than all the other clubs in the Bundesliga. I think the words of Oliver Kahn, who spoke yesterday about Juventus and their financial frauds, are very suitable for this topic. The club should not spend more than it earns - a simple recipe that will cure football of both oil clubs and scammers. I hope that his words will be heeded and the rules for conducting financial affairs for clubs will be tightened.

It is definitely true, that FC Bayern Munich is by far the richest and strongest club in the german Bundesliga and this obviously is a huge advantage for them because they are basically the only club of the Bundesliga that really is an absolute top club in the football world. So they are the only german club that really has a chance to sign the absolute top players in the world and they have proved that again this summer with the signing of Mane and De Ligt.
We should never forget though, that Bayern did not become rich and strong because they were lucky or because some sheikh or oligarch bought them, they got rich and powerful because the club was managed extremely well in the last 4 decades or so. I think this is pretty unique in the world of football.

FC Barcelona has more than 1,3 Billion € of debts, Real Madrid also has huge debts and the same is true for most english and italian clubs.
650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 07, 2023, 05:07:45 PM
Out of all the transfer updates I have heard today, the most exciting and the one that has caught my attention is that of Azzedine Ounahi from morocco that was one of the highlights of breakout stars from the world cup and has Napoli, Leicester, Tottenham and rumoured Barcelona Interested in signing him.
Quote
Barca boss Xavi has earmarked him as someone who could replace Sergio Busquets, and Napoli see as a replacement for Diego Demme. Leicester, meanwhile, could look to lure him in should Youri Tielemans leave the King Power Stadium, with Arsenal keen on the Belgian.
Ounahi is a young player with a lot of potentials to become much better in midfield as he develops, he is a good choice for any club.

Ounahi definitely was one of the best players that were the biggest surprise of the world cup of 2022. He was one of the main reasons why Morocco was able to reach the semi-final in the world cup which is something that no one would have expected them to achieve before the tournament started. He has a great technique and i still remember his dribblings. So i don't really think that it would make sense for Barca to see him as someone who could be a replacement for Sergio Busquets because obviously Busquets was a central defender. I also see Ounahi as a central midfielder and that is also where he played so far if i am not wrong, so it would no sense to put him in the defense now.
651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Islamic Coin, a Fact or a Delusion for Hype. on: January 07, 2023, 05:02:52 PM
Coming across this new introduction of a religious coin toss developed to a category set of people under tye same religious practice in Islam, is was gathered that they there have been moves to launch an Islamic currency that could be used by the religious body believers to serve as a cryptocurrency with much of ease to invest and trust upon as a reliable crypto, please find the link attached below for more information.

I have not looked to much into that coin but my first guess would be that it does not really offer something special or unique to islamic people. I think, that this is just another crypto "project" that tries to create some attention by using a name that everyone knows. This have happened a lot of times before but most of such projects were just stupid meme-coins that did not really offer anything except a catchy name.
If you name your project Islamic Coin then you probably do this because there are 1,8 Billion Muslims in the world and as far as i know the Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. So they are targeting one of the biggest customers base in the world.
652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 06, 2023, 06:06:43 PM
There are still two weeks until the Bundesliga returns after the break due to the World Cup. This break has been very long for sure. The other European leagues have already started and we have watched many matches. I don't know why they decided to make the Bundesliga fixture like this. This break is just helping Bayern Munich of course. Because Mane is still injured and he is expected to return on early February. He might even miss the first leg of the PSG matchup in the Champions League.

I am pretty sure that almost every player that is currently playing in the English premier league would be very happy to have a winter break in order to get at least one or two weeks of vacation and to regenerate a bit. There also have been numerous statements already from almost every coach in the premier League that their schedule is way to tight with way to many games and way to little breaks in between, which increases the chances for injuries of the players.
The Premier League is the most aggressively marketed League in football, which makes it also the most well known, but that is not always the best for the sport itself. Of course it would be also cool for Bundesliga fan to have matches to watch over the christmas holidays, but like i said it would not be good for the players.
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the future of digital currencies? on: January 06, 2023, 05:59:16 PM
I've been wondering recently what's ahead for us in terms of the evolution of digital currencies.
There has been a lot of amazing development with blockchain and cryptocurrencies in general in the past decade. But I wonder if there's anyone working on other ideas or technologies that could also be promising. I'm not talking about altcoins. I mean real breakthrough ideas, similar to what happened when Bitcoin was originally introduced. It would be really exciting to witness the birth of something completely new in the next years/decades. I'm sure we have other brilliant "Satoshis" out there.
I'd love to learn more about cool projects and concepts that could be the evolution of blockchain (again, not altcoins please  Wink)

Well in the end Ethereum is also "just another altcoin" if you see it that way but i think it was Ethereum that was the most important project to bring the crypto space into the mainstream and not bitcoin. The reason for that is pretty simple, Ethereum was the first project that introduced the smart contract functionality into the crypto space and that changed everything. Without smart contracts we would have no tokens, no NFT's and the whole concept of Defi would also not be possible. Dexes would also not be existant.

I have no idea how "the next big thing" could look like but i am sure that if it comes, then it will come pretty much out of nowhere for us normal people.
654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 06, 2023, 01:15:08 PM
I don't know why Manchester United has much emphasis on the goal. In the history of Manchester United the club is known for producing good goalkeepers do that should not give Manchester United headache when De gea is still active.
Manchester United I think has a good goal keeper that is on loan and they also signed a goalkeeper last year

I totally agree. I think that Manchester United has one of the best goalkeepers in their squad already with De Gea, so there is not really much need to act here in my opinion. De Gea is also "only" 32 years old, which is not really an old age for a goal keeper. Manuel Neuer still plays great at 36 years old and Gianluigi Buffon is still playing with 44 years of age. So i think that Manchester United does not really need to think about getting a new goalkeeper for at least the next 4 or 5 years.
I think that Manchester United has other positions where they should look for new players instead, like in the central offense.
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from BONK on: January 06, 2023, 01:08:51 PM
BONK is a big surprise to me this year, how can a meme coin from a dying smart contract project called solana gained so much attention in a very short period of time? The website is also a big red flag because the information is very limited, only three tabs are available on the website. Are people completely crazy or what?

Well, maybe not crazy but very naive or even very desperate. I mean it is a fact that some early investors of Shiba Inu got really really rich with only a very small initial investment and such stories just become extremely popular and widespread. Those stories were also the reason why we had that stupid meme-coin hype in 2021 and 2022 with hundreds of new meme-coins appearing every day. People just wanted to get rich overnight without doing anything. Obviously this never worked out again after Shiba Inu.

In my opinion Bonk was a well planned scheme of the team and also some big whales. So they launched this "project" the whales bought in and pumped the price heavily. This obviously made the whole market aware of that project and naive small investors aped in.
Bonk is already down 56% again in the last 24 hours. The downfall has already begun. Again it were the small investors that got rekt.
656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 05, 2023, 07:19:16 PM
Bayern Munich have confirmed agreement deal with Daley Blind after becoming free agent player and not extended contract with his current team Ajax Amsterdam. I don't think bad option with Daley Blind reach short term contract with Bayern Munich because he has time until end season.

I just looked this up and it seems like this signing is not officially confirmed so far, not by Bayern Munich and also not by the player himself so it is still not sure if Blind will really join Bayern Munich this winter. I also think though that it is only a matter of time until this signing will be officially confirmed because it just makes sense for everyone. I think Bayern was just not feeling confident enough to go into the second part of the season without a new defender now that Lucas Hernandez have suffered this severe injury in the world cup a few weeks ago which makes him unable to play for the rest of this season. Blind gets to play at least 6 months for one of the best clubs in the world. It's a win-win situation for both.
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Dev is not your friend, so be careful. on: January 05, 2023, 07:12:10 PM
Often as a newbie, when you see a new project you are tempted to invest in it. Why I agree that not all new projects are scam, always ensure that you do your own research before putting your hard earn money into a project, otherwise you will wake up to discover that the devs have disappeared with your money.

The whole crypto space offers a lot of opportunities but at the same time it is also a pretty wild and also dangerous space especially for newbies. Yes it is possible to make a x100 of your initial investment in the crypto space, but of course it is also true, that the chance for such a extremely high profit are very very low and that the chances that you lose your complete investment are way higher for several reasons. In addition to that i think that the average investor into crypto is very young in comparison to investors into traditional financial assets, which also automatically means that you are more naive if you are still very young.
So always be careful and never buy meme-coins.
658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 05, 2023, 03:45:49 PM
as the dutch newspaper 'de telegraaf' reported on thursday, the free agent and defensive player Daley Blind is already on his way to munich. a contract until the end of this season plus an option for another year is being sought with the 32-yo dutchman. DB contract at ajax amsterdam had been terminated shortly after christmas

This transfer could definitely make sense for every party that is involved, which is always the best case scenario in this business. First of all Blind obviously does not have a club at the moment and now he maybe has the chance to play for one of the biggest and best clubs in the world. It also makes sense from the perspective of Bayern Munich. Sadly Lucas Hernandez suffered a major injury and he will miss the rest of this season. This is a very heavy blow for Bayern in my opinion. With  Blind they would have another player for the defense, which is always a good thing because it is possible that another defense player gets injured.
659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from BONK on: January 05, 2023, 03:40:14 PM
If you follow crypto news, you might be aware about solana dog shitcoin called "BONK" is up 900% the past week . If you are thinking to invest in this coin, let me share an important fact regarding this coin. The top 20 holders 50% of the coin.
You can yourself check this here
https://solscan.io/token/DezXAZ8z7PnrnRJjz3wXBoRgixCa6xjnB7YaB1pPB263#holders
So, it is obvious that they will eventually dump it. Those who are investing seeing the dramtic increase in prices will loose all their investment when it dumps.

Yeah obviously everyone should stay away from coins like that. Thanks for the head-up. Obviously there is something very wrong if only 20 people are owning more than 50% of the circulating supply. Those few people alone can dump that project to almost zero within a few minutes. So i guess this was a planned pump of this project from the start. A few whales were investing heavily into it, which brought the price up rapidly. Obviously crypto news see this and also ape in and once the price has reached a certain mark those whales will start dumping and then there is no way back to old price levels. Just stay away from meme-coins guys.
660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The founder of Clucoin just quit after admitting to have gambled investors fund on: January 04, 2023, 05:04:12 PM
Link to his post
http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1ss7f8q
He got addicted to gambling and lost even the investors money to gambling. He plans to soon announce his next moves related to crypto projects he was involved with including Clucoin.
If you have not heard about the coin, he is coinmarketcap link https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/clucoin/
Now I do not know how many people invested in this project but whoever showed trust in it is now cheated.
Lesson here is not to trust every other new altcoin. Only invest in solid projects.

Well first of all i have to say that i have never heard of Clucoin before and after checking your coinmarketcap link it seems it always was a pretty small project that never really had a big trading volume. Of course this does not automatically mean that it also was a bad project because nowadays there are appearing so many new crypto projects that it is very easy to miss a new one that is actually good and promising.
That the founder of this project used investor funds in order to win back his gambling losses is a really bad move from him. I would guess that he already lost everything that he owned personally and then there was only his investor funds left and then he used that. This just proves again that a gambling addiction can easily destroy your whole life and in this case maybe even the life of others.
