641  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Unstoppable wallet {User experiences} on: January 31, 2024, 02:05:27 PM
Unstoppable has released several versions after releasing version 0.37.0.
As of version 0.37.1, sync issues in Tron and Bitcoin. In version 0.37.2, updated bitcoin-kit and I want to say that Unstoppable wallet in version 0.37.3 is the final version for now regarding Solana token balance sync.
Instead of adding solana and other junk they should work more on adding coin control for Bitcoin, and that should not be such a hard thing to do.
I don't see anyone suggesting that on their github page, but it would be good thing to do if someone has github or reddit/discord account.

643  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: [VELIKA LISTA] Hardverski novčanici (80+) on: January 31, 2024, 10:51:43 AM

644  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Secure Element in Hardware Wallets on: January 31, 2024, 10:36:24 AM
This list is now cleaned up and updated with new information.
I removed few devices that are not available anymore, and I identified secure element for Imkey hardware wallet as they released this inpublic.
Imkey Pro is using SLE 78CLUFX5000PH chip made by Infineon and it has CC EAL6 certification.

https://imkey.im/

Other hardware wallet manufacturers (Trezor, SecuX, HyperMate, Hashwallet, Keevo, Jubiterwallet) are using secure elements made by Infineon, but this exact model SLE 78CLUFX5000PH is used only for Imkey Pro.
If you notice any mistakes or if you have additional information about secure elements please post it here.

It seems to be the case. Slightly over a year ago, he posted this in a thread that now lies in the archival board thanks to Ratimov.
Yeah, but I have a good memory and I am following this subject for a while.
I noticed zyptopay recently started this fake conversation campaign everywhere in social media and groups with different cards, so it's not just in bitcointalk forum Tongue

646  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Recovery - Send your (encrypted) recovery phrase to 3rd parties entities on: January 30, 2024, 07:50:21 PM
There are many alternative options to store those phrases online, without anyone even noticing it.

You just need to camouflage it a bit with clever techniques that will conceal it's real purpose. (Using templates and splitting it into many pieces that only you will be able to decipher)
This is the worst thing you can do!  Roll Eyes
Making your own ''special'' technique and splitting seed words on your own is recipe for disaster and ALL security experts strongly recommend against doing this.
Andreas Antonopoulos publicly said that many people contacted him and told they lost all coins by trying to be smart with their own complications.
One of the ways to correctly ''split'' seed words would be with shamir secret sharing, but there is single point of failure and not all wallets support it.
Multisig could be better but again I would not suggest regular people doing this, instead they should use multiple passphrases.
647  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Keystone 3 HW coming soon! on: January 30, 2024, 07:39:28 PM
Keystone should rename and rebrand to Discount hardware wallet... they are offering reduced prices all the time Wink
Interesting for all ledger users who want to make a transition and buy keystone wallet they have lifetime 28% discount if they have prrof of purchased ledger!

For everyone else Keystone is currently offering special 26% discount for their 6th anniversary, and price for Keystone 3 Pro is now around $95 with free shipping for most countries:

https://keyst.one/

September of last year[/url]", they still haven't released Keystone 3 and the Pro variant only comes with a "multi-coin firmware".
- Am I missing something here?
They are preparing release of Bitcoin only Keystone device around Bitcoin halving, that should be in few months probably.
648  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Aqua wallet - Bitcoin, Lightning, Liquid on: January 30, 2024, 07:28:25 PM
If you run your own Lightning node and / or use watchtowers
That is a lot of IF's, and let's face it Lightning Network alone will never be so popular and easy to use for the masses.
I heard many issues people had with channels and bunch of different wallets, than you also have to pay transaction fees each time you open and close channels.
I didn't say Aqua is better for everyone, it's better for me and it has LN integrated, so I can send and receive LN payments also if I want.
And yes, I know Liquid is federated network, that is why I said it's not meant to be used for keeping savings.
649  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Tor Powered Microblog & Privacy Coin Exchange on: January 30, 2024, 07:11:56 PM
Hello, yes I can explain. Well Bitcoin is expensive to support and the code here was written by a single developer. Hosting is provided by a small independent game studio.
You can always add support for Lightning Network or Liquid Network second layer with much lower transactions fees and confidential transactions.
I think this is a good for your microblog, and you would still support Bitcoin that way, along with other privacy coins.

Oh and about the features. Yeah it's like if Twitter had an exchange. I say why not. Besides the microblog came before the exchange tech. There's really no rush on our end it's quite the steady rollout.
Well besides installing microchips in human brains, clown Elon is also planning to transform X into his own payment platform, so maybe he ads exchange there  Tongue
650  Economy / Exchanges / Re: KYC Free Exchange from Altcoin to Bitcoin? on: January 30, 2024, 06:57:52 PM
It is USDC (Erc20)
In principle, all altcoins on the Ethereum blockchain.
I would use DEX to exchange the USDC into ETH or into USDT etc
You can't have big volume and decentralization with bunch of shitcoins you are allegedly holding (and I seriously doubt that).

Unfortunately, the volume of Bisq is too small for me, I'm talking about larger amounts that I would like to swap in Bitcoin.
What are you talking about?
There are thousands of trades each day on Bisq exchange with bunch of bitcoins traded all the time.
You probably never installed or used bisq in your life.
Bisq markets:
https://bisq.markets/

exch.cx is too risky for me, nothing against the operators, but changing such large sums to someone who has control over my coins would give me a lot of stomach ache.
Find a better one.
Good luck.
Exch is centralized but it's probably better than most of cross-chain crap and fake-dex exchanges.

Do you have any Atomic Swap / Cross Chain Swap providers for me?
You are asking to many questions...
I am sure large sum whales is asking questions like this in bitcointalk forum asking for atomic swap and special exchange  Cheesy
651  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fixedfloat is scamming me for 8000+ EUR IMPORTANT PSA! on: January 30, 2024, 06:38:35 PM
Both steps were done on 29th fully and they are still staling with release of funds customer send them reminder and i've contacted bestchange and orangefren who are willing to help but still waiting answer from both
Interesting that you mentioned this.
As far as I know Orangefran has written guarantee and protection from your funds being stolen by fixedfloat exchange, if you used them,
but they also have clear warning that  fixedfloat may freeze your coins and ask you a bunch of questions:

I don't think this should be considered as a scam, but orangefren should help speed up things and resolve this issue.
As for fixedfloat partners aka other exchanges, they can literally say any address they want as blacklisted without providing any proof  Tongue
652  Other / Meta / Re: The effect the mixer ban has had on the forum. on: January 30, 2024, 06:23:31 PM
For now. Cash is also on borrowed time. We should appreciate having cash while we still can.
Probably not for long in most countries, unless we see some major changes everywhere.
Farmers are not protesting in so many European countries for no reason, they know what is coming and it's not only cash, it's land also and everything else.

You can't even call these "decentralized exchanges" if they possess something the government can attack and take it down. Decentralized means cannot be attacked or taken down.
Not really.
Bitcoin is decentralized but it can be attacked.
Something with less nodes is still decentralized but it can be taken down much easier.
You can even have decentralized governmental system that can be attacked and destroyed.
653  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: January 30, 2024, 01:24:39 PM

654  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: January 30, 2024, 10:45:36 AM

Kupit BTC i kupovat proizvode anonimno? Ok, možda bit hitlerov mein kampf kupio anonimno, da mi baš nije u Amazon histirju.
History is (a scam) Written By Victors, a Bitcoin nije anoniman, ali normalni fiat novac će uskoro imati rok trajanja, kao Universal Basic Income Wink

655  Economy / Exchanges / Re: eXch - instant exchange BTC / LN / XMR / LTC / ETH / ERC20 on: January 29, 2024, 09:43:55 PM
I have been using L-BTC (liquid) and I would like to suggest you to add this 2nd layer solution to your services. I would certainly use it and I believe other members would use it as well.
I am also supporting this suggestion.
Exch alreadx supports Lightning Network so adding Liquid would be cool, both for L-BTC and for L-USDT, especially for people who don't want to mess with shitcoins and still use stable coins.
Only thing I am not sure is how they will provide enough liquidity for L-BTC and L-USDT.

Purely out of curiosity, have you tried using https://boltz.exchange/ for Liquid swaps? It's what Aqua wallet uses for its swap functionality. I've used Boltz before for Lightning and it worked really well.
Aqua wallet is using Boltz and SideSwap, they just merged everything into one super easy to use wallet.

656  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: United Card Test Group. on: January 29, 2024, 09:21:47 PM
This card looks like a cheap junk, they have some token crap connection and with their design it all reminds me very much on old Centra Tech scam.
Signing up for $50 each week could be just farming of email addresses and personal information, so I would stay away from this, or use only temp email if you are testing.
I am not even sure those are even real team members, and trustpilot reviews and ratings are worthless.

When I typed name of founder Kent Kruusmaa in search I got result ponzi scheme... An Estonian who marketed a Ponzi scheme in India is now promoting his network marketing company:

657  Economy / Goods / Re: ANON lockers for delivery and forwarding on: January 29, 2024, 09:07:38 PM
Something like this?
I know about fist one you posted, but there is nothing anonymous about this services.
Only few alternatives I found are accepting cryptocurrency payments, and so far only one is privacy respecting service with lockers you can rent.

Probably better anyway in terms of privacy to have a different company in each country.
This is not an option.

In some countries in Europe, there are services that deliver directly to public parcel lockers. This only works within a specific country -hence both sender and receiver should be within the same country/region that the service/parcel locker brand operates.
I need international service for countries in EU.
One service I found MondialRelay is connection France, Belgium Spain, Portugal and Netherland.
Problem is that they don't have anything written in English language and support is not speaking English also  Tongue

Another similar service I found is called tiptrans.com, they support Bitcoin payments, and they have English language.
This is more like forwarding service and I don't know anybody who used it.
658  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Testnet faucet abuser with 4 accounts on: January 29, 2024, 08:28:42 PM
This four accounts is most likely just one guy who drained all testnet coins from your faucet, and it makes no sense to give any feedback now  because he wont be using them again.
Maybe he needed this for some airdrop task or something else to get few bucks, but it's easy to find connection between all those addresses on testnet explorer:

659  Economy / Reputation / Re: Farewell on: January 29, 2024, 08:15:33 PM
Thanks for calling o_e_l_e_o out for the pathetic way he ruined his reputation.
You publicly lied and twisted my words, so now I have full right to call you a liar and you are not far from being a scammer if you continue down this path.

Talking with this member is a waste of time since he thinks he is always right, so I would suggest everyone to ignore him and stop replying on his posts.
Let him enjoy his eco chamber.
660  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Good BTC exchange for AUD (Australian Dollar) to make online purchase from EU/US on: January 29, 2024, 05:37:32 PM
Which exchange should I choose and what are the best for anonymity/security and ease-of-use to buy BTC and then make a small purchase on an EU or US or other site which requests BTC-only as a payment method?
Best for anonymity and security is decentralized exchange Bisq, but it can be a bit tricky for newbies to use it and they have to wait for everything to install and sync.
There are alternative p2p trading options like Agoradesk, Robosats, and there was a guy recently who posted project citysats with all p2p trading offers in Australia.
I don't know how reliable this is but everything was posted as open source, so do your own research:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5480452

Also which wallet would be the best for this purpose? Especially ease-of carrying out the procedure?
You probably need mobile wallet for that, something like Electrum, Green wallet, Aqua wallet, or even better to combine it with open source hardware wallets.
