I don't think anyone will be able to catch up with Red Bull including next season. I hope that we see seasons with Hamilton-Verstappen competition much more in the future.

It depends on what FIA will do in the next months, remember the 1st title of Verstappen.

Fia killed the Mercedes advantage cutting the read drag by 30% in a few months.

It wasn't really that big of an advantage anymore, 2021 was really close between Red Bull and Mercedes.  And the FIA thinking that the 2022 specs would be better for F1 because it would remove the dirty air and make it easier to over take were wrong.  Pretty sure Adrian Newey found a couple of loop holes here and there and took advantage of it.  I'll say it again, if F1 stayed with the 2021 specs for a couple more years we would have had a couple more exciting seasons.

As for the way things are now, it's isn't really good and 2026 is a long way off.

Massa went through legal channels to ask for the world title which was illegally taken from him in 2008.

After what Briatore confessed a few months ago Felipe went on the attack, we'll see how it ends.

Wups...  Wow.  If he wins the case and is given the 2008 driver's championship then it would be just 6 world titles for Lewis Hamilton?  Hmmm..  That would be a hard one for him.  He won't be able to retire before 2030 now.  He'll still have to chase a couple more titles to break Schumacher's record.  Cheesy  Yes!  Lol.

I wouldn't really be surprised of he was poked to do it by...  You know...  Grin

Anyway still a couple of weeks more before the next race.  Anybody got any news?

^  Yup and it helps if you play the game yourself and learn the build orders and stuff.  I think you could now download the original SC/BW anthology for free.  Not sure but akaik it is since Blizzard release StarCraft Remastered.

If you really want to get deep into it a bit more but you don't know where to ask questions about the game, TL.net is the go to forum.  Some of the guys over there have been there for years...  It's really impressive to have that kind of motivation.

^  If O'Malley could defend the TD's then he def has a chance.  But I don't think he could.  Petr Yan was able to take him down with ease and Yan is mostly a striker.  Think about it, if Sterling gets him down on the mat at R1, it's over.  He'll find a way to finish it with a sub.

Here's the pre fight press conference.

Dunno...  There's something with Ian Garry that I don't like much.  It's like he's trying to be another McGregor.  I think Magny I'll bet 10 bucks on Magny.  Lolol.  Don't like the Garry guy much.

906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Layerzero Speculation airdrop on: August 17, 2023, 01:14:28 PM
$1k definitely enough even some of the airdrops out there only require specific qualifications that don't necessarily requires you to spend and create that much volume.
most of them are just adding criteria of having interacted with their smart contract codes and thats it.
i guess layerzero gonna be the same, you just required to interact with their blockchain, basically having recoded contract execution or some sort that gets recorded in layerzero itself and then you're eligible but then again its just assumption.
after all, just the same usually with these airdrops in general, they didn't disclose the qualifications for the sake of getting people into trying everything out in their blockchain.

As for the volume, this will necessarily act as an additional criterion when determining the size of the airdrop. The team will not distribute the same amount of airdrop for all wallets that were registered in the blockchain and, accordingly, different criteria will be required so that everyone's contribution is appreciated.

How about this...  What if there were a ton of people who gamed the airdrop that made around 1k USD of volume that it won't make sense for Layer Zero Labs to give the ZRO tokens as it would fck up distribution.  Imagine giving people who own 10 or more wallets and all they'll do is dump their tokens and leave.  That's the exact opposite of what they're trying to do here.  They want an organic way to set their project up, not enrich people who don't care about the protocol.  So they better be careful how they proceed with the airdrop.
907  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for August on: August 17, 2023, 01:02:40 PM
Its obvious btc won't exceed 32k this month. It will go between the range of 28k - 32k and am certain of it.

K bro.  I mean of course there's a less than likely scenario of it going above 32k happening after seeing it go down a bit below 29k.  Lol.  But then again we're still around the middle of the month, so you never know.  There's a thing about BTC that catches you with your pants down. Wink  Just be ready to pull it back up.  Grin

Anyway locked the poll as per our custom in these sentiment threads.  Here's the result.

And here's what you guys are voting for.  Still holding...

^  They never played any mod.  Everything they did was what they thought was the coolest because they fan boy'd over what the popular progamers did at the time.  So what they did, I tried to copy...  Stuff like build orders and timing attacks.

This channel is updated faster.  The commentary isn't really good tho.  I'd rather watch the Korean livestream even though I don't understand Korean that much.  There's just more excitement.

https://www.youtube.com/@StarCastTV

But if you can wait, it's better to watch it with Artosis and Tasteless' commentaries in AfreecaTV's channel.  They usually upload it later but it's worth the wait.

Group C winners...  Both underdogs won their first matches.

So we got two new faces getting into the Round of 16.  Calm and Killer, both Zerg players and both looking good.
909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2023/2024 on: August 17, 2023, 12:26:17 PM
^  Ah, that sucks.  That prolly could have caused Liverpool's adrenaline dump as I was told that they were not the same after Disasi's goal.  And which I also heard Disasi could be one of the most underrated signings of the summer...  We'll see.

And let's see how these two get back at the top of the table after having a terrible year last season.  :/

For the upcoming weekend, what do you guys think of BTTS and over 2.5 combo for Fulham vs Brentford?  Fulham scored at least of couple of goals against Brentford in their last 3.  And Brentford scored at least two goals vs Fulham in their last 4.

And I'll prolly do the same bet for the Spurs vs United match.

^  That's true until they matched O'Malley up vs Petr Yan who is a tough dude btw...  As tough as they come.  These Russian dudes are built different imho.  There might be a couple of fighters here and there who might look weak but overall they are tough mofos.

Anyway I thought Yan was gonna man handle and maul O'Malley but to my surprise, he was holding his own even though Yan was getting his moments.  But yeah...  As for how it translates to the match on Saturday vs Sterling, it won't.  Lol.  O'Malley could get his back taken early and submitted.  My top ticket would prolly be Sterling - Petroski lined at around even money.

^  I'm not much of a SC/BW gamer too but I played it a lot as a kid.  My brothers and cousins were into the SC progaming scene so I kinda knew what's going on...  And as a sports betting afficionado, I think there's some value in these lines because not a lot of people know about the game.

Anyway, here are the results of groups A and B.  All winners were expected except one...  This guy 'Calm'.  He was almost a 3 to 1 underdog but he plays pretty good ZvZ and ZvP.  Looking forward in watching him at the next round.

912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2023/2024 on: August 15, 2023, 12:28:21 PM
^  Weird, I seem to remember that it was Liverpool 0 - 2 at the first half and wenr out right after the second goal.  Didn't care to see the results and I'm surprised to see it's 1 - 1.  I remember Dias getting the first goal then Salah next.

Anyway from the few highlights I saw, looks like it's gonna be a tough season for Tottenham, Haaland looks like he's gonna be +EV as anytime goal scorer and Brentford could be hard to beat at home.
913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 15, 2023, 12:07:34 PM
Now that the UFC Fight Night has ended, I think it is safe to say that we are moving on to a new event and I think this is the real deal of a juicy event
(...)

As I posted before, I was predicting an easy win for Sterling, but now I'm having second thoughts. I still think Sterling is more likely to win, but I don't think it will be easy for him to take O'Malley down and Sean is not without a chance. If it goes to distance, O'Malley will probably win and is more likely to win by KO. So Sterling will have to find a way to win by submission.
The current odds for O'Malley are around 3.15, making it a good value bet.

Really curious on how Chris Weidman will perform against Brad Tavares. It's Weidman's first fight since that horrific injury (broken leg) in a fight against Uriah Hall.

If it goes the distance I think Sterling has a more likely chance of getting the W as we've never seen O'Malley go 5 rounds.  But O'Malley's fight vs Yan looked like he wasn't tired after R3.  So he prolly has the gas tank to go all 5, who knows...  But still a question mark.

As for Sterling, what's the best strat to avoid O'Malley's powerrr?  Just do what he does best, wrestle and take his opponent's back.  Sterling via sub is at 3.05.  I think that's fair value.  But if you really wanna go for value in O'Malley, the R1, R2, and R3 propa are at 10, 13 and 18.  A KO at the early rounds is O'Malley's best chance to win.

914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AVAX] Avalanche Speculation - price movement tracking & discussion on: August 14, 2023, 12:52:05 PM
You know alt season is close when you see more and more of these older alt price speculation threads get bumped by the people who started them.  Wink  Makes me happy.

But as for the chart...  Doesn't look that good as of now.  Sad  But def worthy to start putting it in the watchlist with the the other L1's.  I'd expect the newer L1's and L2's like ARB and OP to lead the alt market trend tho.
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Layerzero Speculation airdrop on: August 14, 2023, 12:32:51 PM
Good to see this thread. I took a look at how much volume I made again, it was very insufficient, I plan to make at least 1k usd volume by the end of the year. One of the most popular projects at the moment has a high airdrop potential at the same time. A lot of people are trading for airdrops on layerzero platforms.

I haven't had much luck with airdrops such as arb, uniswap, maybe my luck will return in Layerzero, even though I have no hope, I should not give up trying luck.

I think that a volume of $1,000 will not be enough. So the minimum amount that gave additional qualifications for receiving airdrop from Arbitrum was at the level of $ 10,000. And I think that it is necessary to strive for this figure, especially since the commission is not affected by the volume of your transaction.
$1k definitely enough even some of the airdrops out there only require specific qualifications that don't necessarily requires you to spend and create that much volume.
most of them are just adding criteria of having interacted with their smart contract codes and thats it.

after all, just the same usually with these airdrops in general, they didn't disclose the qualifications for the sake of getting people into trying everything out in their blockchain.

Nope, not really imho.  I mean it could have a chance to get an airdrop but there's also a chance it couldn't.  It's just a tad small for how many people are using Layer Zero stuff and the volume a lot of people put in.  You wanna be sure to get in the airdrop..?  Make sure you made at least 10k USD in transaction volume.  1k is good, but it's 50/50.

And like I said in a post prior to this one, use it if you really want or need to use it for what it is.  Don't use it like you're a bot who makes small transactions everyday just to get your onchain activity up.
916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 14, 2023, 12:27:07 PM
Here are the results of my bet and prediction for the UFC Fight Night: Luque vs. Dos Anjos

Vicente Luque VS Rafael dos Anjos ROUND 5 DECISION - WIN

Vicente Luque is really impressive in this fight he is taking his time in giving RDA and pressuring him in this fight pretty much good takedown defense and also counter those takedowns with his own takedowns, he surely was like he is not from a brain hemorrhage at all, Luque was controlling the fight and pressuring the Rafael dos Anjos in his game for sure is a great feat for Luque, for sure Vicente Luque has gotten good from his long break has many output strikes than RDA and 11 takedowns 8 was successful to RDA's 7 takedowns with just 2 being successful for sure Luque have won the fight,

Cub Swanson VS Hakeem Dawodu ROUND 3 DECISION - LOST

Cub Swanson got an emotional win and surely he deserves this I really doubt him because of his age, and for sure I am seeing Cub Swanson in a different light because of this fight but surely Hakeem Dawodu is pretty much durable, and for me because the fight was so close I really thought that Hakeem Dawodu got more strikes than Swanson, surely because of the takedown that Cub Swanson throws that must have seen by the judges with that 2 takedowns he threw, 1 was successful and I think that has done the job, for the judges to score it to Swanson,

Khalil Rountree VS Chris Daukaus ROUND 1 KO/TKO - WIN

Just like I have said Khalil Rountree hit like a Heavyweight, that was an insane fight, and looking at Chris Daukaus flying on the ground with those scary punches of Rountree, surely all Daukaus could do is to protect his head from that nasty punch from Khalil Roundtree, it was spectacular and a wrong move for Daukaus to go down the Division,

Dawodu def got robbed imo.  I mean the match wasn't even that really that super mega close to have an argument for Cub Swanson.  Even Swanson was surprised he won via unanimous decision.  :/  Def bad judging.

Anyway, we take our lumps then on we go to the next.  UFC 292 is stacked!  Can't wait to watch fighter replays for some of these match ups.  Smiley  I'll be rooting for O'Malley but if he can't defend Sterling's TD's it's game over.

It could prolly get some ZRO's but don't expect anything more than 500 USD.  I think after the devs saw how APT, ARB and the rest were gamed so badly for airdrops, they'd be a lot more tight with their filtering process.

And with all the airdrop guides circulating in CT telling you to bridge to all these different chains for small amounts and interact with all these different contracts, again for small amounts, isn't it becoming so obvious that it's just shenanigans?  Surely the Zero Layer's devs are smart enough to know.
919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 13, 2023, 12:29:02 PM

Thanks for the back up and good job.  Looks like everybody is slowly taking over, I might run out of anything to do for our little thread soon.  Cheesy  Just kidding.  I really appreciate the regs pitching in.  And just like in football, I'm slowly seeing the transition in many of you...  From knowing very little, to having a decent amount of knowledge and having better takes and bets than me.  It's really good to see tbh.

Now...  If it's not much of a hassle I'd like you guys to see another thing that you could get into...  Starcraft/Broodwar betting.  Wink

Anyway, last call for jeremypwr's Multi Master.

Thanks, likely I really want to share the weigh-in results for sure and it was really fun watching the weigh-ins and the face-off, I could clearly see who is the bigger and tougher fighter with all the fights, and for sure my transition from being a total noob to slightly gaining some knowledge is because of the help I get from all of you in this thread, I surely love to watch and analyze the fights and will likely love to help in any way I can,

Well, I really don't know the newer version of Starcraft but the old version I can surely relate a little, because I am really not a gamer, but there is surely some in me that is just hidden and maybe I will look for it later,

The ASL tourney is played using the one and only original Starcraft/Broodwar!  Wink  Starcraft 2 is commercialized trash designed to make money out of the brand instead of making an awesome RTS game.  SC/BW was made with passion and a vision by a rag tag group of game developers.  I don't think we'll see such a perfect RTS game made again.

I'll bump the thread when the first round of match for the Round of 24 starts.

Edit:  Just checked RLB's market cap and wow...  It's at top 100 at CMC.  Exponential returns for the guys who held from the bottom.  Congrats, this thing could go to 1 USD.

Now that you mention it, I gotta double checked this and yeah its in top 100 marketcap but it is not listed in top 100 in cmc. I thought the rank in cmc is solely based on marketcap only but RLB is #211 in cmc. Its either there are several factor to be in the top 100 or cmc havent really updated this yet but if it is in top 100 then we can really expect alot of listing soon

Price will pump pretty hard if another top cex pick this up though

Use Coingecko for confirmation if CMC doesn't have it listed or if the listing doesn't make sense...  But yeah, it should get listed in a top exchange in the future.  But here's the thing tho, if it's listed in the likes of Binance during the part of the bull market when everything looks like their about to fall, buyer beware.  There will prolly be a couple of days of pump, before the inevitable sell down.  Not saying it will def be the case for RLB but something to look after.
