You should not trade eth tokens at this time. when your overloud network only consumes gass and it is detrimental. I hear this situation is caused by the game, I do not know I just wait back to normal. I guess now we can start using EtherDelta as usually again. The Ethereum network congestion seems to be over for now. Check ETH Gasstation, the current gas (gwei) is 10, or safelow 11. Its still more than it was before, but at least its not 50 gwei anymore, so now we can use EtherDelta again and afford the transaction fees. Happy trading everybody! |

Yes you both can leave all coins on Wagerr website if you like. Advantage over Waves is the 2FA authentication for logging in. On the other hand, Waves is secure as well if you just write down the seed (string of words to open your wallet) on several pieces of paper, logout from your account, remove the login from the Waves wallet. Hi, is the ethereum congestion (because of cryptokitties) a threat to announced ICO date of 15th December? Do you think that ETH network problem is going to be fixed until then ?
No threat ahead, just set you gas a little bit higher and then there should be no problem to get your Ethereum through the network easily. How high is higher though? With these kitties congesting the network, it's not obvious what gas price is sufficient these days, it's been going up and up over time. Definitely not as straightforward as it seems. For now the ETH congestion seems to have been resolved. Have a look at: https://ethgasstation.info/ current recommended gwei is 10, its still more than it was, but its not 50 anymore. You can use this website to find out how high you need to set the gwei for your transaction to certainly go through. Just set it at the SafeLow or higher than it will go through. |

The allegations that you made here are not why I think that Bitcoin is controversial. I think more that Bitcoin has become controversial (its not from its nature), because it is now being traded just like another commodity that financial speculators use. As it was intended to serve as a decentralized digital currency and therefore as a means of payment, its controversial that its nowadays just became another form of capitalism.

Hello there, the marketplace will be opened in normal mode in this month already if I remember correctly. Is this information still up to date? If it is, when will this happen, is there a date already?
Another question I have is in general about the marketplace: whats the difference between normal mode and black friday sales? Will people still make a discount when they buy on the regular marketplace mode? Or is this kind of the same as buying in a retail store?
I also have a question regarding your token: PLC is a utility token as far as I know, right? If so, doesnt it become a currency when we use it to buy goods on the marketplace? So its somehow a hybrid-token isnt it?
Hello, 1) We hope to open the Marketplace in normal mode after the next Black Friday (December 29th), if there won`t be any problems and bugs. 2) The main difference is that in normal mode poducts will be provided by our partners directly without any budget limits. You should remember that Black Fridays are sales, so in normal mode there won`t be any discounts. The price of products will depend on the price of the token on exchanges. You can read more about pricing in our White Paper. 3) You can say so, but there are no official terms for such hybrid tokens. PlusCoin has more in common with utility tokens, so it`s better to call it a utility token Thanks for the clarifications. I was asking this question regarding the terminology of the token because the type of the token matters for the taxation in some countries. Utility tokens are handled differently than eg equitity tokens or currency "only" tokens. At least in my jurisdictation this matters already and will surely only be a matter of time until other countries will also implement some laws for all the new types of tokens. So maybe for tokens like PLC there will be a need for a Hybrid-token terminology, as there is not nothing in the law yet that applies directly to it. Time will tell. Alright, if so then this coin was also just a target of too early speculation as many in the space are. What features are you referring too? I thought that the SIA platform was already up and running for some time isnt it?
But in general I stick with my statement, marketing is key in this space, it has become more important than being able to deliver on your promises, therefore if you dont do it, other projects will have an advantage over you, even if your project has better features etc. I think one should not underestimate this in the current times.
Yes, the network is already working, and currently 3300 Terabytes of storage are available of which 100 are in use. The problem is that the part of the code for renters needs to be optimized, to improve speed, scalability (currently renters can't upload more than 5TB) reliability and the ability to recover your files just with your recovery seed. All those items are in the roadmap, and actually the next version 1.3.1 that is about to be released on the next days will be a huge step forward in that direction. Thanks for the information about this. I also think that speed and scalability are key components that need to be addressed to be superior than the competition. As we see more and more scam ICO's popping up and also ICO's that are legit but still take advantage of shady marketing tacticts because they maybe thing thats ok, because everyone is doing it, I think this thread is really really helpful to everyone that is trying to do due dilligence on his potential investments. The filters are set really good and will most likely expose scam ICO's or ICO's with a shady or unsustainable business model. Can we also ask on this thread about potential scams, where we are not sure if they are or not?

If Cardano reaches 1$ it would need a market cap near to Ethereum now. This will only be possible if the overall market capitalization of crypto currencies will grow significantly in 2018. Some people predict that we will hit 2-3 trillion market cap in 2018. If that would be the case, I definitely can imagine that ADA will be one of the winners too and it could reach a market cap as ETH has it now. But Im waiting that they will deliver some of the promises they make, as of now its all theory and nothing to show.

I don't suggest something like this unless you have very large amount of btc funds in your wallet. In such case, I advice you to use opportunity of very high btc price at the moment, withdraw some funds and buy new house, repay the loan at the bank, part of the money invest in gold or real estate and than you can quit your job and travel around the world  The rest of the funds you can keep in the wallet, without any stress or worry because of btc price. If you don't have big amount of btc funds in your wallet, than it's risky to quit the job, hoping the btc will continue to grow. You never know what may happen. Totally agree, we can face another crash anytime soon and then people that took such life changing decisions will be regretting hard. I agree though that if one has a lot of BTC taking most out now and investing in a business of your own that will bring passive income to you while you travel the world is a good idea. But leaving it all in crypto and quitting the job and starting to travel bears to much risk. The yield of Bitcoin must be realized by selling the BTC before you are on the safe side. Setting an exit point is essential for everyone. |

I think at this very moment nobody can predict the price in the short time. I guess nobody would have thought that we will see such a sharp rise towards the end of the year. But as we all know, now we are trading above $15,000.
As we see swings of several thousand daily nowadays, it has become nearly impossible to interpret the charts. Lets see where we will stand on 1.1.2018 - Im excited about it!

I have a question, how you will share the profit with token holders ? is it by giving the mined coin such as bitcoin or eth ? or are you going to issue new tokens ?
because I usually have this question how does ICO companies share the profit ?
I advise you to read the whitepaper, its all explained clear in there. But to answer your question: Envion will mine the most profitable coins and then convert the mining revenues into Ethereum. This ETH will then be paid out to the ENV tokenholders on a weekly basis according to the amount of token they hold. ICO's that have a profit sharing model have different ways to share the profit with their investors. I think the Envion model is quite unique because it will become a passive income source for the holders thoughout the year, unlike others that only share profit once a year, ENV will pay out the dividents to their holders every week. |

That price swings of Bitcoin are unpredictable. We saw a correction of $2000 within 24 hours and now we are back to almost the same level as before. Its crazy nowadays and I think that BTC is out of control at the moment. I sold half of my BTC and keeping the rest to see what happens. I would advise anyone to at least take some profits out, it can crash hard anytime, so dont be greedy and take some out to be on the safe side. Just my 2 cents, but I think this is valuable advice everyone should consider.

Just want to ask how to invest in Ethere.
If you mean ETH by Ethere, than you have to go to an exchange like coinbase or kraken and buy ETH there for fiat money. You can also buy it on crypto only exchanges if you already have some other cryptocurrency. To the question of OP: yes I do buy altcoins. I have a pretty big altportfolio already and am buying more. Many projects have a promising future and will likely be worth much more, therefore Im accumulating altcoins and just hold them for the long term. So far, it payed out good. |

A project behind an airdrop. It's really rare nowadays. This coin will have a good value. Of course 2,000 RBL it's not that much but you can still buy more if you want. They will be added on exchange soon after 1st january (I mean, not a decentralized exchange like etherdelta).
Totally agree, there are thousands of airdrops nowadays, but most of them seem to die within some hours or days after the airdrop. Most of them are scams on top. I participated in some airdrops lately, but now also stepped away from this stuff, its too time consuming and mostly only data collection for whatever reason. But Rebellious might be one of the gems among the thousand other rubbish airdrops. It seems as the devs are really putting effort in the project and that they are supporting the idea of a fair distribution and therefore I like this project. Im excited to see where this project will be in half a year. I got those 2000 rebl as well and will just hold them to support the project a bit. |

I think this question can only be answered from everyone to his own. You can advise people with your opinion, but they still have to decide what they want to do with their money. If they are not happy with taking a high risk and are panicing over price retraces and would freak out in these volatile markets, Bitcoin might not be the best investment option for them. They should rather stick with gold, but with that investment as it bears very low risk, the growth potential is also very limited and there are no big yields to be expected. Guess this depends on the person, some can take risks easier and are not afraid to loose some are less risk taking and rather want small, safe rewards.

As Bitcoin is now traded against most of the alts and most of them arent traded on other fiat markets, the death of Bitcoin would mean also huge impacts on altcoins. But this is just in regards of the trading price I think. If there is a demand for an altcoin, and there sure is for many, as they have totally different use cases than only the one of a currency, then there will be still people buying it and the alts may not die.
But this all will depend on the reason why Bitcoin dies, if it dies. If it dies because demand for it shifts to another currency, than alts may not suffer that hard. However if it Bitcoin dies because it is banned globally or for a similar reason, than alts may be banned as well and then likely also die.

You will eventually get the money refunded and it also wont cost any gas because the transaction did not go through.
I dont know how long this takes in general, I suppose its a certain number of blocks that must pass before an unconfirmed transactions gets returned, but it eventually will.
Dont worry, dont loose the trust. ETH network is great, there are scaling problems, but this will be fixed sooner or later - this just shows us that we are not yet ready for mainstream adoption and that there are things to work on!
