Asia Cup 2023 is likely to start in Pakistan as per the schedule. As per ICC announcement, 2023 Asia Cup will be hosted in Pakistan. The upcoming Asia Cup 2023 will likely end with 12 ODIs and 1 final match in September. There are various rumors about this Asia Cup but they . are meaning less. The decision taken by the ICC is final. If there is any change, it must be determined by the ICC. If Pakistan is able to fulfill the conditions of ICC then Asia Cup 2023 will be held in Pakistan.

I would disagree with this. As far as I know, Rameez was replaced so that Najam Sethi (who is very close to the ruling party in Pakistan) can become the president of the PCB. As an administrator, I believe that Rameez was much more capable than Sethi. He was the one who resolved the issues between PCB and the PSL franchises and made PSL one of the top franchise leagues in the world. He had some revolutionary ideas, however some of them such as the PJL didn't worked that well. But Sethi's previous terms were even more disastrous.

If the venue changes from Pakistan to any other country, or even in a neutral host is going to be placed, I think it is going to be very unethical and it is going to be an injustice from the ICC as well. It was decided a long time ago that Pakistan is going to be the host of the Asia cup. And now just because of some complaints from India, it cannot be changed. 

And if for some unbelievable reason, it does end up changing, I think we would finally know that the ICC does not care about what actually goes on in cricket. But honestly, I do not think the venue is going to be changed.

As there is still adequate time to negotiate, certainly Najam Sethi and Jai Shah, presidents of the cricket boards of the two countries will reach an agreement. Hope that agreement will be good for both of the countries. If there is any change in venue, then UAE may be the desired venue. And if Najam Sethi as the new president is able to build a good relationship with Jai Shah then it can definitely be a big gain for Pakistan cricket.

Of course, ICC is not going to do anything that upsets their “ golden goose”. But if they do change the venue, the cricket fans are going to be furious. So they cannot do that either. Right now, there are three possibilities for the Asia Cup:

1. The BCCI softens its stand and sends team to Pakistan

2. PCB agrees to hold the Asia Cup at a neutral venue

3. Both BCCI and PCB stands adamant with their respective positions. Asia Cup will be held in Pakistan and the BCCI refuses to send it's team.

Out of these scenarios, either #1 and #2 will be OK. But if it goes to scenario #3, then it is going to be mutually damaging for both the teams as well as the ACC. The boards will lose a large amount in revenues and the impact will be felt during the 2023 ODI World Cup as well.

Few months back there were few signals that Afghani authorities will soften their policies and bring better things for the country and youths of this country but recent development showing nothing happening, and we will have some dilemma for the Afghan cricket because this can cause ban on them or any other problem can happen which could be not good for the country and game because in last few months we have few good exciting players from this country, and they can do better in near future as well.

As in current situation they are not allowing women's for higher education which is surely more important than game I have feeling they will not allow this all and bring any soft policy for the women's cricket and few countries will try to have stick action against this situation which is not good.
