Nadal skipping Wimbledon is bad news for the tennis world. Would have liked to see a final between him and Djokovic. I don't see Federer making it very far. The young players outpace him more and more and he needs a ton of outstandingly amazing days to compete with the younger generation. Who knows, maybe it is his last Wimbledon is he fails early in the tournament.

As I have said, F. Auger Aliassime vs Humbert is going to be close and it can go either way. And in the end, it was Umbert who muscle enough energy to close the game in the time break.

So it will be Umbert vs Rublev in the Halle final. I will go with Rublev by 3 sets win.

Tsitsipas could become it as well. Did you see the last game between Medvedev and Tsitsipas? Mevedev played like a girl. I know usually he is really good, but Tsitsipas destroyed him without effort. Every time Medvedev hit the ball it looked like the ball crosses the in slow motion. No power and permanently stop balls as the only weapon. I have no idea how he could compete with the best if he plays that way. It seemed like he didn't even want to try to win against Tsitsipas. That was quite a disappointing game from him at the French Open. Zverev may have a chance if he manages his emotions over a longer period of time.

You forgot about another top tennis player, Monica Seles.
Between 1990-1993 she was the best tennis player in the world and Steffi Graf might never have become the best and won so many GS and other tournaments that Monica Seles career was not tragically interrupted after a fan attack at a tournament in Germany.
In fact, it is a pity that after Serena we do not have a great champion in women's competition, because that is why the interest in women's tennis is falling.
It seems to me that Osaka has a predisposition to become a great champion if she overcomes her psychological barriers.

Absolutely agree about Osaka. I have a feeling she would have had much easier time if she played 20 years ago when there was not so much media demands on the players. These days with all TV conferences plus social media it is much tougher on players who don't fish that kind of exposure.

WTA and media should have been a bit more understanding as well. I know it is against the rules but if somebody has serious documented mental condition I think it would be in everybody interest to let her miss a couple of conferences if that is what it takes for her to compete.

Osaka is by far my favourite player on the womens tour and I am still in shock at how
she was not given any concessions for the media duties she had to comply with, it all
seemed a bit blasé at a time when mental illness is getting more recognition about

As I have said previously, Rublev is not sho-in for the title as Humbert is really playing very well.

So it's a tough call to bet on Rublev, probably the best bet is on handicapped, although I haven't check it prior to the match.

For Berrettini, I really admire his player, grass or clay court, he is on top of his game. Look for him to develop in the future.

overpowered, it was close but Humbert indeed is playing very well.

Berrettini went well overall to win at Queens, Norrie pushed him for a bit and
the 3rd set was even to a point. At the start of the 3rd set I placed a single bet on
Berrettini knowing that my parlay had lost so I was able to recover some lost funds.

Medvedev,Tsitsipas and other players arent even close to him and they dont deserve the first place in the world honestly. Federer before didnt have any competition and won it all easily once nadal and djokovic came he was useless i dont even consider Federer as the second all time great. Nadal and Djokovic are the best currently in the history. Djokovic can take this year if he wins it all the name of the greatest of all time

Yeah, it's obvious that Djokovic will be the main man in Wimbledon.

I don't see it boring though, it's not up to Djokovic, it's up to the competition. If they want to stop Djokovic from winning another major grand slam, then they have to do something about it. And it seems that Djokovic is getting his second wind in his career. After a injury in the last 3 years, he come back strong and never look back. And even we have this young generation coming up, Djokovic is simply the best right now.

Federer was a very favorite tennis player and had a lot of fans.
Everything changed when Djokovic came and got involved in the fight between Federer and Nadal for the best tennis player of all time, and when it became apparent that Djokovic was better than Federer and Nadal.
This fact, as well as Djokovic's behavior on the tennis court, brought him a lot of negativity and attacks by the media and fans.
The fact that Djokovic withstood all these attacks and remained the best speaks volumes about his mental strength.
Regardless of the number of GS titles won, I think it can already be said that Djokovic is the best tennis player of all time.
Djokovic proved it when he convincingly beat Nadal in Paris this year.

Ah,,, of course if I ever have an athlete from my country no matter the sport even bowling (I find it so boring) I will cheer them on:) But like I said Djokovic is an entertainer more than anything else sometimes you feel he even gives games away first so that he feels more motivated like a squad that loves coming from behind. I hope he wins Wimbledon because I got big money on outright:)
