It is not his fitness, he is fit enough and by far first favourite if he shows. It is all about restrictions, I am reading about horror stories some competitors have to go trough and I must say that I understand his problem. Just read about one Croatian athlete who will probably not be able to compete just because he was seated close to covid positive person on his flight to Japan. No matter he already had 6 negative tests, he can't leave the hotel and train. 4 years of training down the drain.

Well, it's a double edged sword. On one hand he has the perfect chance to make Golden Slam which is only happened one time in whole history (Steffi Graf). On the other hand these restrictions and potential problems may risk his US Open participation and he may be out of True Grand Slam title.
We will see when he announces his decision. I just hope he would go for Golden Slam so we can witness history.

I also think that after all the cancellations for the Olympics he has a very good chance to win the gold medal.

I also think he has already won everything that is important in tennis, except the gold medal. The gold medal is not as interesting financially as the US Open, but there are few outstanding tennis players who have also won gold. For the gold medal you have the chance only every 4 years.

The form speaks clearly for Djokovic that he can win Olyimpia and US open.

I haven't check the odds as of now, so not sure if I'm going to put a bet or right. Interesting though that Ramos-Vinolas is rated on this tournament while Delbonis is not and then the odds favor Delbonis.

Looks like you got that right the first set was dominated by delbonis with an easy win 6 to 3 but in the second one we have seen a different thing it was more tight and it seems he will be facing paire or varrilas either way i think he will get through to the quarter finals.

Single on Lajovic which scares me because he lost the second set. He has total control of it, until Molcan comeback strong and win in a tie-break. Fortunately, Lajovic didn't allow the same thing to happen in the 3rd winning 6-3.

On my parlay, I would say it's an easy prediction for Carreno-Busta and Delbonis, it was a straight sets win for both. I could have gone for the handicap -3.5 and win a good odds at 3.x something. But I prefer the ML, much safer at 2.07 odds.

I go with my boy Tsitsipas next and see who I can parlay him with to increase the odds to at least 2.x.

Krajinovic on 44, but ranks dont paint an accurate picture, its on the day.
