Seems that Federer has some struggles early, but I'm expecting him to win in a very tight 3 sets.

Tsitsipas vs Busta later - I seeing this to be a 4 set at the most, Busta is also a good clay court player and very consistent in the last clay tournament he join, will try to bet later on this game.

You really got lucky on that nadal bet norrie had him in the second set with 2 breaks but nadal was able to break him fully. Unbelievble play by Nadal today against a really good opponent. Norrie was really good today and a really big shame that he didnt do something in this match. Djokovic destroyed berankis today.

Djokovic is dominating hard. He is in good shape. I wish Federer would play a role in this tournament, but he would have to beat both Djokovic and Nadal, that's impossible. What is interesting though would be Djokovic vs. Nadal in the semifinal. If Djokovic really manages to play his very best it is going to be a super clash between the two.

Djokovic and Nadal has the advantage in this surface, Federer will have to play perfection in order to beat the 2 this year in Roland Garros. And I think he is really taking it one game at a game as we all know that he is coming back from a long lay off and injuries.

He is now on the court with Koepfer, expecting him to win and I do hope that he will cover -5.5 in this match as I have a bet on him.

Absolutely, but Federer made it to the next round which is awesome. I just like him and he deserves it as a sportsman and a private person. Always humble.

As for Nadal and Djokovic it is a little bit sad that they meet in the semifinal. I wish they would meet in the final. It's still somewhat different. If Nadal wins that semifinal against him who else has the quality to stop him in the final? Under normal circumstances nobody.

True, it was a 4 setter and if you look at the score, it was really close, 3 tie breakers and then 7-5 in the fourth set to close out Koepfer. Next for Federer is Berrettini, I don't know if Federer can keep it up with another clay court specialist.

Nadal and Sinner, the old vs young, which do you think will prevail in this match? I'm still leaning on Nadal showing why is he is the best clay player in the last 10 years here, I will not be surprised a 3 set win for him.

Unfortunately, I lost my bet, the score was so close that they have multiple tie breaks and I just needed needed Federer to at least win by 3 points, but the close out score in 4th set is 7-5, only 2 points, damn, was close.

Anyhow, it's good to see Federer going into the 4th round, but it won't be easy, I'm betting for Federer +4.5 this time @1.79, couple with some.

I was late getting to watch that match, I missed the 1st set. Federer was pushed well
in that match obviously with 3 tie breaks. I pit a simple win bet on at the beginning of the
3rd set but I was sweating in the 4th, it was very close but happy that Fed is through to
the next round. I'm not sure how he is going to cope with the next level.

Very good match from Federer even if he looked a bit tired in the 2nd and 3rd set, but mentally he was stronger and went for quick points in his games. But a start in the round of the last 16 is not yet fixed for him.

Bad news for all sincere tennis fans.

It would be a really big loss for this tournament if Federer gave up due to injury.

Yes I heard this earlier, I think he should retire while he is 100%, rather than risk an injury
in the next round which theoretically is going to be tougher against Berrettini and ruling him
out of Wimbledon. Lets face it and he knows himself he wont win RG.


Tsitsipas has taken the first set 6-3 from Carreno Busta. I have a bet on Tsitsipas to win
so hopefully he keeps it up.

I agree, his main focus is Wimbledon and it's better to stop now than keep forcing his body. If he stops now, he should be happy with his performance and can have high expectations for the next grandslams.

That is a brave bet. I don't think from now on he will win any game easily in 3 sets. Your bet will be tough to win if he has one very bad set, like a 2-6. Maybe I underestimate him, but I just can't see him blowing his opponent off the field. He has his weak moments more often than he used to have them (no blame on him for his age) and even in the game yesterday there was such a moment although his opponent was freaking out like hell. I hope for some games between the big three and for that it is so important that he just wins one more game.

Now I am gonna be a little toxic and say, of course he withdrew since Beretini would have kicked his ass. Better for Federer to conserve his strength and knee for Wimbeldon where he will have a realistic chance to win another major. I am sure he did not really think he can win in RG, this was more like an experiment to see how far he can push himself.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Federer, he is actually my favorite member of big 3 but he is also realistic and it is not coincidence he was skipping clay season last couple of years. I believe he decided to play this time around just to get some actual match time. Mission accomplished, time to get ready for grass.

Williams didn't make it at the Paris open. very unfortunate as she has been chasing a record for a new record for grand slam wins for some time now. Given the fact that she is now almost 40, that will be a difficult story. At Wimbledon she could give it another try with her power tennis. Williams remains a phenomenon in the tennis world.

Yeah, on the first set with Nadal was break and the score was 0-2 I thought that my bet are lost already. but then he come back strong.

Surprising defeat by Serena Williams, LOL, I started my parlay with her winning, unfortunately she was upset. Tsitsipas destroying a good opponent in Carreno-Busta, I thought the game will be extended, but in the first set alone, Stepanos won big and. there's no way that Busta can recover the way Tsitsipas is playing in this tournament.

Good decision by Federer to quit as I will bet against him vs Berrettini.

Even i am having the same thought process now, before he tournament i was thinking why he returned to play here which is not even his forte but now i think he wanted to have some real match practice and for the past one year everyone was not getting the actual sessions that they actually get and he wanted to get out and play free and he very well did that and i am hoping injury will not hurt his mission to win another championship most probably this year.

Medvedev is probably my favourite player on the mens side and TBH I havent been
following him much in RG, I was not expecting him to come this far, he isnt exactly
a clay court specialist but has done really well. BIG contest coming up tomorrow
for him against Tsitsipas. I'm not betting on this one.


Anyone watch Zverev v Nishikori? OMG Zverev was ruthless and despatched Kai
fairly handily.


My other favourite player on the mens side Sinner is playing Nadal today, he has been
up against Nadal in almost all the tournaments this year, unfortunately for him Nadal is
looking way too strong in RG, I'm not betting against Rafa.

^ I agree that Medvedev is not a clay court players, to be honest, I bet against him in his last 2 games.  . So I was surprised of him still in the game and beating good clay court specialist.

Zverev is tearing this tournament and so is Tsitsipas, you just have to watch the first set and see how this 2 are performing. Hard to bet on them.

I'm taking Rafa over Sinner, maybe we can see Sinner at least winning 1 set here.

Surprising defeat by Serena Williams

I'm not sure they're that surprising any more. She is looking more vulnerable with each passing tournament, and it's starting to look less likely that she'll break that total grand slam wins record.
But overall it's been a crazy tournament on the women's side, hardly any seeds remaining!
