Question for the devs:

On the margin trading bot, the red band has an "Eff. gain" percentage. Could you go into more detail about that? Is that % for each trade or the combined trades? Does that number take into account trading fees?

Thanks guys!

It shows the gain you make after trading fees have been taken into account! It relates to a buy/sell or sell/buy cycle.

Best
Jonathan

After fixing some stability issues, (of course not all of them related to leonardo )
it will be a robust auto-trader.

After implementation of
- stop-loss functionality
- to be able to update strategies while running
- Overall screen to watch the activities of all bots and orders.

it will be a very good choice to experience for every kind of trader,

After implementing
- the custom strategy editor and more indicators.

It will be really cool Smiley

For me I am glad I bought it,
helped me to gain more than I paid already
and the best part is that happened while I was sleeping or not in front of a computer.

Keep up the good work, from my side I am watching closely to see what will happen.

+

After implementation of

Trailing Stop

So I've got a "strategy busy" notification at the bottom that won't go away (poloniex). All the bots seem to be running. They're still cancelling and whatnot. It just doesn't go away (just started).

Also, from the beginning, I'm getting error messages in my log: error querying margin funds. Stating there's nothing in there. When I put something in there, the error seemed to have stopped.

So, if anyone wants to get rid of that annoying error message, throw a satoshi into margin to shut it up.  Grin

Edit: I have 2 going now. Going to try closing the program and restarting.

Edit 2: It's hanging at "Shutting down leonArdo" Gonna have to kill it.

Edit 3: That worked. But it didn't save any info since the last time it was shut down. I had to manually kill all the orders and re-start everything.

Can we get an auto-save feature please?

Yes an auto or manual safe feature would be great..

Otherwise even with the small issues this trading platform is great.

Thanks for the tip about the satoshi  Wink

We will handle the debug message but nice!

There is a manual save all strategy state. Right click on the strategy button (knight chess piece) and there is an option to "Save all strategies". If leonArdo closes properly it does this, but in cases like what happened for you it doesn't.

Thanks for your patience.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Is this sort of the bot that takes a good trader to a great trader or is it a type of bot that newbies put their coins in it and let it run.

There are some bots out there who gives default strategies that even people who have no idea about coins can put their coins in and just let it run and there are bots out there who you have to put parameters and read the charts and expect coins go up or down and know whats going on (basically be a good trader), which one is this?

We have both types of customers.

A mix of bot and human is always best. So the more knowledgable you are the better.
So what do we do? Just pick a pair and select margin maker and let it run?
What are our responsbilities in this bot? Is there a default option where I just say trade BTC/ETH and just leave it running on some vps and just collect my winnings time to time?
Or do I have to know spesific stuff on reading charts like candles and ema1 or ema2 and so forth.

Hi tanvirnsu5,

Thanks for your interest in leonArdo.

For $89 you get leonArdo core + access to a single exchange.

You can then add extra markets for $29 each, or for $179 you can buy the ultra version of leonArdo and get access to 7 markets.

All the best,
Jonathan

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't the trading fee for Poloniex be .15%?

They have a maker/taker order system, where the makers are at .15% and the takers are at .25%

They explain it here:

i tried leonardo demo version

not impressed to be honest,

1º i can't do backtesting in the demo version with macd, can i ?
2º there is no 2H in the time step of the graph
3º the design looked so nice in picture then after use it, everything is so confusing, such high lack of deph in windows and buttons, its like too flat,

what programing lang was used to make leonardo? looks so out of standards, also did not run in windows xp.

If you make your background black, the colors really pop.

I agree with you, there should be something between 1 hour and 6 hours in the graph.

still, there is no clear division of zones,
there is no depth on the buttons, its just all so flat and mimetic...

kinda remembers the UI of serial generator, trying to be insurgent on interfaces

the graph is strange to move, once used to bitcoinwisdom, looks like no one is able to match its friendly interaction and perfect contrast.
itsjust above anyother by far
