Are you just running leonArdo or also other programs? 15 pairs shouldn't be a problem with your setup though.

I have many other programs running. BURST miner (minuscule resource usage, not noticeable outside of its deadline cycling), Firefox ~8 tabs (+YouTube), a wallet or two. I try not to do anything intensive on my Windows machine (I use a Mac for work).

Looking at Windows' built-in Resource Monitor, leonArdo never goes above ~25% CPU [when in the background] and ~35% CPU [when actively using] with around 20-30 threads going, and a memory usage of ~800MB at any given time. I currently have 14 coin pairs actively trading using the mArgin maker. It's really not that big of a deal right now Cool just wondering -- if I get really serious with leonArdo, if I should have a dedicated machine with a Ryzen or Core i7 that I do not use for anything else?

depends on your ambitions Wink Blockchains, youtube, miner all of them use quite a bit of I/O which could be the bottleneck.

Hi I'm getting this error and the init is very slow

06/13 10:46:40 pm poloniex: error querying margin account information: json2::TypeError: asObject called on non Object

it just keep the [poloniex] init NXT/BTC. anyone know why?

Poloniex has been a disaster today. Super slow.

Our offer stands if you want to bail on Poloniex, we will add another market for you for free.

I have emailed them because it seems like they are giving priority to website calls over API calls. Need to find out if that really is the case or not? Haven't heard back from them yet.

Take care guys,
Jonathan

Hi any chance i can change poloniex to another acc sent emails no reply thanks

Jonathan, thanks for all your support of your software.

Is there any plans in the future to be able to run the bot for GDAX,com exchange? I havent scrubbed this thread to see if its already been addressed.

Hi, can i ask is there a way to cancel order automatically if max.order age reach. I setup the margin bot and after the max order age pass, there is a pop up say "one active order remain do you want to cancel the order..." can we do it automatically so that the bot can continue to run?

P.S i want to use max.order age to change price when max.order age reach (price will be calculate base on current statistic)

My buddy turned me on to this software, and let me tell you. It is amazing. I just purchased a copy and gladly would have paid many, many more satoshis than was requested.

A 16-hour analysis of the demo version using Poloniex paper/fake trading, my overall portfolio value increased 2.063% from my initial 1 BTC investment (+0.04660786 BTC, at time of measure approx. $111.51 USD gained)!!

I won't say that I never adjusted the mArgin maker bot parameters, but for the most part, over a 14 altcoin pair spread, the mArgin maker was allowed to do its thing, and it does a very good job of it.

I cannot wait to use it for real trading tomorrow.  Grin

It is on our wishlist, but the demand was not that high. So it is prob a little bit down the road.

Hi, that is a bug you are looking at atm. Are you using Poloniex? It happens from time to time as Poloniex is facing high loads and their API can become unresponsive. We are working on a fix.

Hi,

Is there something wrong with the data from the Bittrex Exchange for the Clam/BTC pair.  Other currency pairs seem to be working.

I am running the demo version.

Many thanks,

Thanks for the response. Can help me clarify the max.order age

For example if max.order age reach what will happen to active order (buy or sell)

1. existing active order is canceled, new order is placed with same price and same quantity

Or

2. Existing active order is canceled, new order is placed with same quantity but price is recalculate base on current history (ex. 24h...)

Second question: is there option to use all available BTC got after complete sell order to place new buy order (quantity is automatically calculated)
ex: after got 0.11 BTC after sell all ETH then place buy order with amount of 0.11 BTC?

Hi, the issue with Max.order age is quite frequent. If using the feature then after like 1,2 hour the strategy just stop and prompt for whether we should cancel active order. If select yes then there is error canceling the order

order neither became 'active' nor 'completed' after > 1:30 min (aborting to avoid harm)
06/16 10:19:57 pm poloniex:STEEM/BTC: error acquiring ticker info
06/16 10:19:57 pm poloniex:STEEM/BTC: ticker data update failed

06/16 10:23:31 pm poloniex:gui:STEEM/BTC: initializing active orders
06/16 10:23:32 pm poloniex:gui:STEEM/BTC: initializing completed orders
06/16 10:23:32 pm poloniex:gui:STEEM/BTC: initializing margin positions
06/16 10:25:15 pm poloniex:bot:STEEM/BTC: [SteemMargin1] an exception occured while the bot was running :'strategy stopped: order could not be placed'
06/16 10:26:43 pm poloniex:STEEM/BTC: error canceling order: order update failed (perhaps it went through in the meantime)
