Hi, I am using Biostar TB-BTC Pro (12x GPU) and also TB-BTC 6.0 (6x GPU). Have tried many configurations of hardware setup but could only detect 6x AMD GPU.

I understand that RX OS dagfix only works on AMD GPU and NV OS only on Nvidia GPUs and I should not mix GPUs in single rig.

New to mining and SMOS as well. Am considering to hire someone whom can make my life easier with pre-configured miner configs (no idea how to get it run) - some basic lessons on pools setting/failover pools. as well as some basic lessons/assistance on undervolt/overclock GPU (currently using Power Color Red Devil 8GB RX 580 and Gigabyte GTX 1070 Gaming OC).

Tried to go into the http://chat.miningsimple.net - but couldn't seem log in.

Short of losing more hair over these, am open to consider hiring assistance for the above. Thanks.

I can confirm the issue with NVIDIA GPUs (12 x 1060 6gb here on Asrock h110) :

the first 2 cards are randomly overclocked, sometime they are sometime not.

Very happy to read I wasnt alone in this case.

"    /root/utils/wolfamdctrl -i $x --core-state $coreState --mem-state $memoryState --core-clock ${coreArray[$i]} --mem-clock ${memoryArray[$j]} --volt-state $coreState --vddc-table-set ${coreVoltArray[$i]} "
This is  not going to affect voltage asof voltage settings.

Thinking of trying this OS vs Eth OS , my main question is do they have drivers now on Linux for the Blockchain fix ?

otherwise there is really no point to using this with claymore since you get a way lower hash-rate withoute the blockchaindrivers

Same problem using asrock h110 pro btc+ first two cards randomly overclocked or not overclocked at all
every card running at 22.7 first two 19.2... 1060's, also Having the same error for overclocking as yesterday even if I'm currently at the newest smos version... please fix as soon as possible. All rigs installed today have issues...

Same numbers here  Undecided

A question regarding the h110 : did you managed to figure if the SMOS GPUs numbering match the motherboard PCIe order?
I mean is the first PCIe near the proc the number 1 inside SMOS?

I thought I'll share my results. Thats combination of os undervolting + offset. We are back to old results Smiley

That's 6x Sapphire Pulse RX 570 with hynix memory.

This looks mighty inspiring, maybe ill switch back to smOS, undervolting was the one thing keeping me away Smiley
Would you care to share your clocks/volts too? Also by offset, you mean a hardcoded bios offset, right?

All GPU's are different and such results are not guaranteed. Most of my rigs are running at around 800 watts.
By offset yes I mean modifying bios and manually adding and offset (for some fee I can do that for interested parties).

Here are my settings for this one particular rig

Pretty please could we have an API for the SimpleMining.net site? At the very least even a plain text or json return of the current "rigs list" and their relative stats.

great !

how much did you undervolt ? what GPU and Memory clocks ?

Thanks

Nice. So help me understand what the Bios offset is doing in this scenario since the core is already at 850mv?

Without offset this rig with core at 850mv wasn't stable (was at around 925). My guess is that GPU with added offset is better controlling voltages and thus is stable with lower values.

Its not a guess, you are absolutely right. The offset you added sends direct command to the voltage regulator, while this(see my previous post) is not actual undervolting, its not even working with the driver...my guess is its simply dropping VDDC to current VDDCI voltage state which is ~900/950mV.
