No network problem. 100 Mb/s Internet. 200 Gb of free space on disk C. Win 10. The chat with BB bot is working but no progress in sync. To me it looks like the client syncs with only one server the capacity of wich is very limited and not scalable
Have you updated to the most recent client? v 1.7.0 . Decided to relaunch the client. Will see what happens.

I've been using desktop wallet running a light node, sync process never been a problem for me.
Probably it would be the best choice for me but nothing can be changend right now. And dev recomended to instal the full node for desktop. Can not understand why/ Sure it helps the network. Decided to move all my btc to new address and reinstall BB in light client mode/ The sync process is too painfull

BB 1.7.0 says "Please just pay 0.000849 BTC to Bitcoin address". Can I just sign empty transaction as it was possible before?

I am a volunteer to set up and run a witness. Would you replace one of your witnesses by mine in the default list at least until we get some well reputed "captain of industry" to replace me ?
That means : are you socialy ready to start release hands on witnesses ?
Personally, I am ready to place trust in community members. Nice to hear. There is now a fresh new witness just started at byteball.fr and posting : https://explorer.byteball.org/#MEJGDND55XNON7UU3ZKERJIZMMXJTVCV

You can use few bitcoin addresses for the same byteball address but not contrariwise.

Hello, one question will sound like stupid... How can I link account signing a message. The bot said before singning, you must "let me know your bitcoin adress first". How can I show my bitcoin adress to the bot? Writing it in the chatbot doesn't work... (using android wallet for byteball)

Hi,
I would like to join the distribution tomorrow. I don´t know how to link my btc address with gbyte address. In their web is written: "After installing, chat with the Transition Bot to participate in the next distribution round". But the Transition Bot link is not working. Any advice please?
Many thanks!

finally on cryptopia. good job devs! can someone explain to me how this new algorithm is better for anon-tech & privacy compared to XMR or ZCASH ? Only blackbytes are anon. Blackbytes are private assets (like barrels of oil or pounds of gold). Blackbytes transcations do not appear in the public chain, they got recorded to a sidechain (pegged to the plublic chain). That's why (appart from initial distribution) you can only get Blackbytes from P2P trading and not from exchange (such as cryptopia). Check Whitepaper. I am not a dev but a hub operator. Help spread the network: in your wallet settings->hub set wss://byteball.fr/bb

This sounds a bit strange to me. Meaning.. can't an exchange send/receive those blackbytes as P2P transfer then trade them as any other coin? Exchanges handle anon coins too, well enough. Although the ANN post tells about hubs "the security doesn’t matter much as all messages are end-to-end encrypted" so they are safe enough to use, many will miss that and, since you are Newbie, will not trust your hub. Ask OP to add your hub address to ANN post, it will give it more strength. It's in his interest too after all.

I can confirm - although the hub software is rather verbose on the console - all sensitive informations are encrypted when passing throught the hub. After all we are all Newbies with Byteball, no ? Ask OP to add your hub address to ANN post, it will give it more strength. It's in his interest too after all.
Good idea. Would you, tonych, make any reference to byteball.fr hub in the ANN post to help diversity ? Would be appreciated. Thx.
