I hold Byteball now until we reach 24.000 Dollar (12 Billion marketcap = the same marketcap like iota has). Iam really excited for the ride.

Great Video Byteball should start a big worldwide advertising campaign with Videos like that. This is the perfect moment, because now the whole world is talking about Bitcoin. We should show the people that there ist the only one coin that is better than bitcoin in in all facets: BYTEBALL.

Guys, I'm trying to transfer my byteballs using desktop wallet, but the wallet keeps giving me this error: "[Internal] connection closed". Does anybody know how to solve this problem?
Switch to another hub: https://byteball.fr/byteballworldmap.phpThanks for your reply, I switched hubs several times, but it didn't help. What else could be the issue there?

The Dev should consider using some sort of proof of individuality ( like confirming a telephone number ...etc) to distribute some of the coins it will be more efficient method and it will reach out to a lot more people than the cash back program.

Why? It would be way more beneficial to everyone if airdrops finished for good. That money would be better spent on dev, mkt and other productive stuff, plus people waiting for future airdrops means LESS people actually BUYING. It is way better if price does x10 due to that actions than if we all double our stash via airdrop but the price stalls (or even dumps right afterwards). Not knowing how the remaining coins are going to be distributed cause a lot of uncertainty. Investors hate uncertainty.

Isn't byteball better than IOTA on may technical fronts? My concern is that the byteball team does not have the funds or connections to compete with IOTA, any thoughts from someone that knows more about this project?
Byteball team holds 350,000 GB that are planed to be distributed through combination of airdrop, cashback program, and other methods. We are trying to encourage tonych to reserve a bigger portion of that to fund development team going forward rather than giving it *all* away just to be dumped. Current value of those GB is over $200 million. Although tonych controls a big portion of bytes, he has always handled the reserved bytes with great revere and has not misappropriated funds. Main thing to be improved is actually spending more to expand the dev team beyond 3 and possibly add a small public/press relations team besides community volunteers. There is also a community fund. I strongly endorse this view, funding a larger development team at this stage would be far more useful for the coin than giving it away to dumpers. And I would also suggest the creation of a good marketing team. Agreed. Not sure if marketing team is top priority but I think investing coins on development and other pursuits is better than giving it to people who can sell at anytime for profit because they have a $0 cost base.

Sure air drop need to be finished as soon as possible but promises can't be broken otherwise the coin and the DEV will look dodgy,if first in the white paper said 98% of the coin will distributed then it should be that way you can have a coin distribute 20% and keep 80% for whatever reason you want to name it and that coin will go nowhere,it will be the coin for yourself, i had once mentioned that the Dev can include an optional 1-2% default donation from the airdrop that will go to development of the coin as psychologically will be easier for people to donate that way ,but if keeping 35-40% of the coin for the development everybody will lose faith in the coin and the Dev

The Dev won't look dodgy because the money will be used for the benefit of the coin. It won't benefit those who just want free coins of course. But a larger adoption through marketing (and we have seen what a simple reddit advertisement can do) will be good for the existing coin holders.

so basically you want to turn Byteball to ICO?2% donation should be enough for marketing the coin if you want an ICO then that something different Tonych was clear in the white paper he want to distribute Byteball to as many people as possible and that's why he hold the airdrop to give time for cashback program and other distributions method not to give time for an ICO

The entire distribution model was a disaster of cataclysmic proportions and still is. Rip that band aid off now and just BURN the rest of the coins. Burn them into the abyss keeping a very small proportion to fund developments and watch the price increase nicely. Even better fork it and null the known other ico bb wallets and burn those too. They had a cheek claiming them anyway. Nobody will even talk about it after a couple of weeks and any icos complaining will look like complaining scabs anyway. Just do it, i mean we went back on the full moon distributions and pissed off real investors I couldnt care less about upsetting other greedy ICO managers. That's what i'd suggest from here on.

https://i.imgur.com/0FpnYAL.jpgUnconfirmed ParentBtc never received to 1JKBGwCzWoF53GJ9EUGMeXJLgpyraFK1Et Not very impressed with "Byte-BTC Exchange" part of this wallet when your Byteballs are taken without payment. I imagine a low fee was used or the transaction cancelled as Unconfirmed Parent was displayed in my electrum wallet. I tried a "child pays for parent" but that did not hasten the transaction. Anyone know what went on here and if this is the expected behaviour. Is there any recourse you can suggest to retrieve my Byteballs or request my BTC? https://imgur.com/0FpnYAL

You cannot deny that many people got airdrops just for "free money" without caring at all about the platform. Selling bytes on the open market to get money for marketing has the *same* distribution benefit as Whale #35 dumping it. However in the former case the money is used for a benefit to the ecosystem and further gains users who buy bytes and use the platform, but in the later some random person just got private spending money. And there is no moral high ground of the latter. If everyone keeps Byteball quiet, the holdings of bytes will become more concentrated. Which is the opposite of the stated goal of wide distribution. While directly distributing bytes to many was a great bootstrap, it is not a panacea... how is auroracoin doing lately? Someone will be much more interested in a platform if they decide to buy into it with a financial stake and learn about it, than if they just get "free money".
