Is solomining still really an option? I've got two gtx 780's to throw at it. Anyone having any luck?

I'm thinking that myself. I can either keep my 4 780's directed to 1GH or put them on solo mining. 1GH is almost doing nothing for me now while they're under DDOS. Only reason to keep it at 1GH is if the DDOS lifts during the middle of the night.

Are you getting lots of Boo's or just not connecting? I'm operating at about 50% accepted right now.

I'm getting 50% accepted but even the accepted isn't hitting the pool. I'm sitting at 0 unconfirmed at the moment.

well, diff is at 7k, 4 780s probably would find one block per day now or 2 if you're really lucky.

The thing is the difficulty is going up so fast it's probably safer to pool mine, could easily be 14k by tomorrow.

I have 500 MHash and just decided to leave it on 1GH, hopefully the DDOS clears up

So is Dwarf the only pool playing nicely with Cuda?

Everything else seems to get excessive fails and Boos. Not able to connect to ypool. Sick of watching Dwarf not find any blocks.

Sigh.

Maybe this has already been mentioned (sorry don't have time to read the 50 new pages, lol) but for anyone wanting to compare, the maxcoin cgminer runs at around 335 Mh/s on a 280X using less than 200W (ie. it's not using the full ability of the card).

Not sure how that compares to the equivalent nVidia. My GTX560-448 is happily cranking along at 85 Mh/s with cudaMiner. I haven't measured the wattage on my GTX560. It runs relatively cool so it's also probably less than scrypt which is about 200W (I'm undervolted).

Hey guys, will this code work for 9600 GT?

It worked for my 650M but that is gen 3 I think so this code mightn't work for my 9600 GT too.

Any ideas?

Im using max.smalltimeminer.com Im at 97.53% accepted shares in my cudaminer, running a GTX 770 and getting around 110Mh/s

Buuuut, the most payouts definetely going to ypool. They get a block every 40seconds or so.

Had to reboot (after a driver crash while tuning my GPU clock). When I restarted I can no longer sustain the trick of running a flash app in a browser. I go to someplace like flasharcade.com and I get the same speed boost (80%) that I got before the crash, but then the software apparently stops being GPU accelerated and my speeds fall back.

I mined for 12 hours straight without losing the "flash in the browser speed boost," but now I can't get the effect to last longer than 20 to 30 seconds. Any ideas on how to force flash to keep using the GPU? Assuming of course that's what is causing the speed up in the first place.

Trying to figure out the maxcoin wallet. Had it working for solo mining. Now mining on 1GH. Using the "getnewaddress" command with maxcoind.exe gives me an address. But will that address be able to receive payments from an outside source?

Was using my mcxNOW deposit address but not sure thats a good idea. My stats page on 1GH isn't showing anything so I am nervous.
