Update on the 0.93 cgminer restarts (Saturn):

I have the Saturn miner running with Bitminter as primary pool. Minimum difficulty had been
manually set (on the pool web interface) to 128.

With this setup, the miner and the pool often switch up to difficulty 256 and back to 128.

Today I reconfigured the Bitminter pool for a minimum difficulty of 256.
Since then, I did not see any cgminer restart. cgminer is now running for more than 8h 11h.
In the past the max. I could observe had been 3h.

So I was wondering...    I have 3 saturns coming...   so how would I use putty to view all 3 sats at the same time?  can I make them all work on one cgminer window, or 3 windows?

I've got two Jupiters hashing just above 500GH and one barely above 300GH with massive HW failures. Am hoping .94 will help.

I have one jupiter hashing at 285  Embarrassed

trepex thanks for sharing this info.

Did you disclose your finding with KnC, it could be a useful info for them.

did you notice any an increase in performance ?

I'm running my jups with slush pool. slush has dynamic mechanism to set diff (Vardiff) based on the hash rate of your boxes, and despite the fact they mint almost at the same rate, one is setted to 395 and the other to 453. the former has higher hw errors ratio, thou (4.1% vs 3.1%).

if KnC's new firmware will behave as the last two i'll try to switch to a pool that let me set diff manually and i'll try higher values (something like 512)

thanks again

From windows putty to cgminer in minepeon reduces in size and still has a readable screen but putty to a raspberry pi running stratum-mining-proxy wraps the lines in a way that's not very readable tho one could keep that screen full width and reduce the height.

Anyone know what the cut-off date was for October deliveries?

I thought it was mid August but I see a mixture I think. (And was KNC accepting reservations before the payment date?)
I'm in a group buy here with order #4999 on a Jupiter and we all pretty much think an October delivery.

Thoughts appreciated,
IAS

I wish KnC would just let us assemble the units ourselves.  Isn't that how BitFury does it?

Has anyone gotten a refund on hosting with KnC and switched over to another provider successfully?

I asked if I could get a refund for hosting and just ship the unit but they will offer NO REFUNDS.  period.   They wouldn't budge and that's that.   I'm waiting it out (for now)

T Minus 7 days. Till they are offically late on all shipped orders. (If you haven't received yours yet)

They're late now.  No two week advantage over October orders anymore for the earliest adopters.

This is the unfortunate reality that no one seems to be discussing.

How late are your orders and what numbers are they?  Or are you just trolling, as usual?

We're on Day 7 or Day 8 now.

I have the same problem.  Two day-2 orders numbered 35x that are just sitting at PAID , and two day-2 orders numbered 75x and 76x that have been sitting in IN PROGRESS state since October first...

And don't I recall that the first batch of pre-orders - everything under about order 890 - was supposed to go out in order number order, not payment queue order, so long as it was paid within some specific time period?

I would hope so since they are not in production for those yet.
