Wow, that many have canceled - close to one third..

Anyone knows about the exact date when Neptunes (batch1,2,3) are considered late?

Buying BTC if you have USDs instead of buying BTC miners now.
At least buy them with the opportunity for some extra-hashrate on top of it if you want hashing power Wink

It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

Not if you are mining with equipment purchased with customers money, selling the btc and giving people refunds with the mining profits.

I certainly didn't see any comment in the newsletter about the video we've all seen with 1000 boards hashing in their new datacentre.

I don't think they care too much about Neptune in 2014.

They will force everybody onto a 6 month cloud hashing contract. I mean, if they announce you can have 6 months cloud from June or wait for Neptune, that is going to be delayed until at least November, who in their right mind would wait?

Eventually they'll make Neptune, to pad out their arctic empire, as it will be lower power than the jupiter boards. But probably we won't see it until 2015.

In the meantime, we'll see just how much truth lies behind their February 2014 statement of "As we are getting closer to the launch date of Neptune", as time progresses.

well I would love to be completely wrong on this, but as you know, i've always said we won't see 20nm bitcoin mining rigs until at least 2015... please KnC prove me wrong.

This thread is getting full of FUD posted by the same few accounts over and over again.  That leads me to believe that they are either shills for another manufacture or they couldn't afford to put money down on Neptunes but wish they could.  So they want KNC to underdeliver, and do bad, so that they feel better.  It's one thing to have a strong opinion and want to share it, but to keep spamming it and shout down anyone with a positive view just makes you a troll.  You know who you are and you can pipe down a bit now.  Then, if you are correct you can quote your post and gloat.  I can see why Orama doesn't want to post.  So far KNC has been the best bitcoin ASIC manufacture so far.  So I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt to deliver until proven otherwise.

The hashrate on their website has finally started to rise today 319.40 Th/s (up from 200ish).

So my guess about the guy who works for them selling his jupiters on ebay was a good read of something about to happen imminently.

matt, knc has delivered to their customers...but i think the problem is based on their motto....under promise over deliver, which for the client they mostly  have....but for their own pockets, it is starting to appear as Under promise OVER DELIVER into THEIR POCKETS......and yes I as a customer got what I purchased, but I believe all KNC CUSTOMERS hope that now that KNC has made it big....they don't forget those initial foolish risk takers that funded this ONE OF project....

I think that is what all the gripe is here......I still have my orders.....we shall see for how long......I have met half my order's hashing speed already on my own....NOW....TODAY!.....so I wonder about delivery time seeing the BTC I am producing currently.

No is speculation that they will do that, all we have heard it's that they are building a mine for the purposes of providing either compensatory hash rate to their customers if Neptune is late or if said customers would prefer to switch from hardware customer to cloud customer. You are adding your own spin on the concept to make it appear in a negative light.

We'll need some input from Swedish speaking members, but this looks like video from the new datacentre.

With machines hashing already. Mining the bitcoins to compensate the Neptunes customers in July Biffa?

Not more than 5% though, of course.

"Server hall will be ready in about a month."

Again what is your agenda exactly?

Seriously, if they are hashing now and never delivered a Neptune to anyone yet or compensated anyone and still have all that pre-order money how greedy does a business need to be?

if you're referring to me, you dont have to be scared, i dont bite...

I bought, paid for 2 jupiters one october rig for 10k plus extortionate shipping -  it was 3 weeks late and a piece of shit!!  Still is!

A november rig that was 5k plus slightly more extortionate shipping, it was also late but a pretty good piece of hardware!

then i paid 10k plus EVEN MORE extortionate shipping for a customer humiliation deal Neptune..

and a further 10k plus EVEN MORE extortionate shipping, like they just cant get enough, for a B2 neptune which i requested a refund for on the 2nd of February. still waiting...

as for being a shill for ANY of these shitcunt financial rapists, im proud to announce i have way to much integrity & self-respect.

so that blows all your half-assed theories right out the window, and finally if its FUD you want to discuss i think they are doing and have been doing a mighty fine job on their own since their 2 fraggles decided it was finally time to STFU!

what a difference a spineless gimp or two makes, eh?!

..... Oh and hahahahahahahaLOLOLOLOLl HAHAHAHAHAHAHaaaaahahahahaha @ that shit i highlighted in red!!!

theyre so awesome you guys....

'Leave KnC Alooooooooone'

Edit2Add - i am now at 2.3Th despite KnC refusing to sell hardware they have in stock and i barely make 0.5btc per day TODAY!

Some days its 0.3!!

so tell me what our 3Th rigs are gunna be worth in march when it aint gonna be working for US...

how about in April, when theyre still hashing away with it and we aint got shit?

May?

June?

July the 1st when they kindly offer the option of cloud contract at extortionate rate vs wait til fk knows when to get ur hardware that they couldve EASILY sent to us in january in the form of 3 - 4 jupiters??!!

its not as if we havent fkn paid them yet!!

In case anyone missed it, im keeping my Day 1 'thanks for funding our entire operation now fuck you, MwaHaHaa' rig...

ive never cloud-hashed before, cant say im looking fwd to it...

I think it's pretty clear they're going to be mining from here on out, far above any self-imposed 5% limit. They'll use some of the BTC to provide refunds, they have to, as they kept the door open for 66% of their new orders to be refunded. They'll need at least 66% of that money just to stay solvent with these new ventures, so they'll use the mined coins to pay off people, and to help keep their business running.

Afterall, it's nearly free datacenter equipment for them thanks to everyone who gave them gobs of cash from the beginning, and their systems were priced to be generous on the profit side.

Sorry for not included it, but a few pages back they said "We have NOT been making more 28nm modules" um, yeah ok...

So that's how they're doing it faster than a normal datacnter.  It's all just shelves to throw modules on with open windows and fans blowing ... and at that density... again where did they get that many modules? and it would kill them to sell is a couple of hundred? I don't think they'd miss them.....

KnC and others have got to admit that telling people to hold onto btc (or their choice of currency) as upgrade modules will soon be available, then no word for week after week after week, while there's also no word about the progress of Neptune development, then announce no, there will be no upgrade modules and oh, the Neptunes might be late so we're going to offer a "Plan B" as an alternative, isn't exactly "keeping your customer informed" and doesn't fall in the category of good public relations. It falls more in the category of customer and public relations BFL style. Then a video surfaces, doesn't matter when it was made, that drives the point home about upgrade modules being put into use at some point, and not by customers. Again, not good customer and public relations.

I'll say it one more time. The ONLY reason KNC told us to hold on to our coin was so we wouldn't spend any bitcoin on any other pre-orders at other companies because they knew they would announce their Neptune for sale...which they did. It's such an obvious tactic to me I saw it soon as no modules came around and then all of sudden a pre-order for another rig which cost a lot more. Derrrrrr.

^-- Yup. A lot of people were teetering at the time, debating whether to go with the Chinese boxes which were shipping same-day, or to wait a few days for KNC announcement. They knew they could capture some of the market simply by dangling a carrot.
