Hey guys, just a quick question.
I have an AMD mining rig, with 3/6 gpu slots filled, it's currently running claymore's amd miner. Now what I wanna ask is, can I put a Nvidia card(1060 3gb) on the 4th slot and run ewbf's miner SIMULTANEOUSLY with Claymore's? What I mean is running EWBF's miner with parameters to use only the nvidia card, and claymore's with parameters to use the other 3. If it's not possible, are there any alternative ways to have both nvidia and amd cards mining on the same pc?
Just for info,my cpu and ram are weak(35 dollar intel processor whose name i cant remember and one stick of 4gb 1333 ram)
Thanks in advance.
Yes it's possible

after 3 good days of running 0.2.0b, rock stable, overall 10 rigs 60x 1070gpu, average 2642sols/s - 0.16% rejected shares, no problem @ all with stability. Good work EWBF. Now if we could get API & enhanced logging, and... maybeeee some more hashing, that would be great because the only thing i miss now is proper monitoring, even if with the log now it became better, and to be honest the miner is rock stable but you never know, i don't like being in the dark . Keep up the good work.

[SNIP]Ok so my 10 rigs are like so
6 x EVGA geforce GTX 1070 FTW Gaming ACX 3.0 - 8 GB (2x8pin power) 6x PCI-E Riser USB and powered version 006c (6pin power) 2x FSP Fortron Hydro G 750 - 750W Intel Celeron G1820 2.7 GHz ASRock H81 Pro BTC R2.0 Kingston SSDNow UV400 - 120 Go HyperX Savage 8 GB DDR3 (2x4GB) W10 anniversary edition x64 Drivers 372.19 but will upgrade to 372.33 today.
I choose dual psu rig because it doesn't take much more room, allow for dual fan cooling from below because i turned them toward the gpu's, more cables than solo psu so less money for added adapters, more power lines, more stable, consume less overall because able to hit the sweet 50% load spot that allow maximum psu efficiency, and cost 60% of the price of a 1300W psu, so money saved here too.
one psu power the whole motherboard and drives (mobo + ssd) all the motherboard added connectors for power of PCI are also on that psu, and 2x GTX 1070 + own risers + added fans second psu power the remaining 4 gpus + their risers.
both psu load is the same (1% variance) and well splitted across all power rails.
Sweet spot running those rig is about 60% TDP (about 110w per gpus) and different overclock depending on algo, for equihash (zcash & fork) i used to run +150/+600 but with latest EWBF that exploit everything a bit better, i had to tone it down for stability @ 145/590, been stable all night across all rigs, for an added ~2.5% average more hash (~2585 > 2650sols/s) with Solver 0 and one EWBF instance.
@m1n1ngP4d4w4n: hi there! i very much like your setup! what kind of frame or enclosure are you using for your setup? i am still planning a little smaller rig (aiming for 4 cards on 1 psu) but havent yet found a convincing way to mount everything together. will probably build my own frame, done it before

I built the rigs frame myself, inspired and took ideas from alot of videos, images of others rigs owners, and a bit of my own ingenuity. For smaller frames you could think about building something along the way of https://miningcave.com/product/mc-buffalo-98-sk1/ the design is pretty nice and compact for a 4x gpu rig (they also have bigger one), you can also check the rigporn thread on this forum, gave me lots of ideas. good luck.

Shot in the dark here but any chance anyone with multiple rigs would be willing to share total hash rate from all rigs and could verify zcl per hour mainly with EWBF miner. I am entertaining the idea of making an investment for 6 rigs with all gtx 1070's and would like confirmation. By no means did I do it to make money but I have tested a cloud miner for 5 hours that gives 20k hash rates for my zcl pool and it looks like I might be able to at least get 2 or more zcl an hour. At the rate now of 1$ per zcl I could do 48$ a day, 336$ a week, 1,344$ a month, 16,128$ a year. zcl profit calculator shows a bit more http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/zclassic-mining-calculator/?h=18000.00&p=7200.00&pc=0.05&pf=0.00&d=40762.96375668&r=12.50000000&er=0.00121000&btcer=878.08000000&hc=0.00After the first year it would be pure profit, and I know if it goes down from 1$ I might lose money but there is a chance of gain. If by the remote chance it makes it to 2$ a zcl I could ROI in half the time and still make close to 16k in 6 or so months. Could be more depending on where it goes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. No problem with ewbf across 10 rigs of 6x GTX 1070, good stability, no crash @ all, running on average 2640sols/s per rig. But when doing calculation especially on forks & such, don't count making the same all the time, expect the unexpected, that said, GPU mining except if you have insane electricity cost, will always be profitable even if your profit aren't that good, you WILL ROI, but it could take shorter or longer time depending how you do it. @m1n1ngP4d4w4n - What kind of power does a 10 rig system run on draw for watts per month and cost? What is your cost per kwh? Do you run this on a home circuit? 110v or 220v? Just curious because I want to jump up to (10) rigs but am scared as hell because I only have a 200 amp home service. Also, my cost per kwh is .15 usd.

between 695/830w per rig depending on algo, cost per kw is 0.145$, home circuit yes with 220v, had to upgrade the main breaker but it was as easy as a phone call to the power company went from a 9kva one to 32kva, 6x16amps lines were added by me to the circuit to power everything up (added enough for about 20ish rigs @1000w) cost per rig is between 2-3$ of electricity per day depending on algo, making plan to lower my electricity bill and upgrade the circuit in 6months or so if everything goes well with my plan, we'll see 200 amps isn't too bad, but it depend 110v or 220v for your home circuit (22kw or 44kw) if you don't have this many appliances @ home, you should run fine 10 rigs. Things to be careful is the case when your electricity goes down, to have a system to alternate system start, because if you have 10 rig going up at the same time, you could load-up your circuit, and make the breaker go out or blow.

All are in my basement so it's pretty cool even in summer, and i have made a system with wall fans for air exchange (big pull in front of the basement, big push behind) should not be needed in winter, but i can run it at different speed (10 speed settings). Still to note i haven't experienced a summer yet (been mining since last october), but the system should be enough as it has the capacity to replace the whole basement air 10x times per hour at maximum capacity easy.

I have 4 AMD's and 2 NVidia's on my rig. You can see on the image 1 GTX 970 1GTX 1070 4 RX 470 For the AMD's I use Claymore with the GPU Index parameter: -di 0123 And NVidia = EWBF I use the parameter : --cuda_devices 01

WHAT THE! - Summary: 0.2.0b will not mine with the 3rd miner, the 1060 like 0.1.0b does. No overclocking. Is this a Bug?

@m1n1ngP4d4w4n - What kind of power does a 10 rig system run on draw for watts per month and cost? What is your cost per kwh? Do you run this on a home circuit? 110v or 220v? I have a 200amp service running at 110volts. I can install 220v circuits and I like your idea of an alternating starter for the systems. Question - how do you convert your power supply from 110v to 220v? I have looked everywhere in Home Depot and cannot find a solution without the big bulky plug! Thanks - pokeytex

between 695/830w per rig depending on algo, cost per kw is 0.145$, home circuit yes with 220v, had to upgrade the main breaker but it was as easy as a phone call to the power company went from a 9kva one to 32kva, 6x16amps lines were added by me to the circuit to power everything up (added enough for about 20ish rigs @1000w) cost per rig is between 2-3$ of electricity per day depending on algo, making plan to lower my electricity bill and upgrade the circuit in 6months or so if everything goes well with my plan, we'll see 200 amps isn't too bad, but it depend 110v or 220v for your home circuit (22kw or 44kw) if you don't have this many appliances @ home, you should run fine 10 rigs. Things to be careful is the case when your electricity goes down, to have a system to alternate system start, because if you have 10 rig going up at the same time, you could load-up your circuit, and make the breaker go out or blow. @m1n1ngP4d4w4n - Wow nice setup. I have a 200amp service running at 110volts. I can install 220v circuits and I like your idea of an alternating starter for the systems. Question - how do you convert your power supply from 110v to 220v? I have looked everywhere in Home Depot and cannot find a solution without the big bulky plug! Thanks - pokeytex Most PSU's work 100-240V ( especially branded ) and are 2-3 % more efficient at 220 than 110. Second good thing. And @ 220v currents are half the 110v, less heat on wires. @AzzAz - I am knowledgeable on how to make the 220v circuit in my home but do you know what device or plug adapter to use for the EVGA 1300 Watt G2 psu? It only comes with the standard 110v plug. I looked online for adapters but no luck

Get a PDU - power distribution unit (cheap on ebay) to go from the 220 volt socket (forget the name). Then from the PDU to the psus with normal plug, or possibly may need to buy new ones depending on which pdu you get. @m1n1ngP4d4w4n - What kind of power does a 10 rig system run on draw for watts per month and cost?
