And they have been testing a Corona vaccine since July. https://www.scmp.com/news/china/science/article/3100447/chinese-drug-firm-sinovac-says-thousands-employees-and-theirIn July, China approved the emergency use of vaccines for specific groups who were deemed to be at high risk of exposure, including medical personnel and border officials. Beijing was the first city in China to start the emergency use programme and tens of thousands of people – including workers at the Xinfadi food market, which was at the centre of the capital’s last major outbreak in June – have been given the Sinovac vaccine.

There is one defi called Sushi. The founder dumped all his coins and the market was down 70% in few hours LOL. CZ seems greedy.
People want to get meal with tasty and delicious tokens, Sushi, and pasta, hotdog, pizza. A mix of them is a scam cake. Well done! That is an important question. Also, as a separate issue, your argument is nonsensical. Even if all of these images (including the ones from 2017) were from the present, it doesn’t show that “They are literally laughing at the stupidity of rest of the world rn”—unless you suggest that everybody who ever enjoys himself over beer must be celebrating at others’ misfortune. Are beer festivals ipso facto evil? Or would the Chinese be disallowed from all ordinary pleasures because people in other countries decided to act like headless chickens? Please clarify.
Poor Germans, no Octoberfest this year. What!? (Well, maybe they fear being accused of celebrating the self-destruction of the Americans, the English, the Germans—no, wait...)

I didn't lie. I thought those images were from the present. I posted follow up ones from now, 2020.

Not nonsensical, no. With a population of 1.4 billion people, and the epicenter of the outbreak, they went back to "business as usual" the fastest of any other country, and clearly have no more fear of Covid-19, including second, third, forth waves, reinfections, etc. The majority there clearly do not care to wear masks in crowds anymore. Why? Because they (and their govt) know the truth... that Covid-19 is not really that big of a threat. The rest of the world gets to "be disallowed from all ordinary pleasures" and continue to be shut down, while the Chinese laugh at the rest of the world's naivety and ignorance while they party and have a fun, normal existence.

-several snips, emphasis mine-defi (without idiotic 'yield farming') is just another term for automatic financing sans banks.
You have capital, you can lend it out on the blockchain that is able to employ smart contracts (be it at the core , in L2 or L3) and get interest.
Banks are less needed in defi world, hence no Cantillon effect and no pernicious brrr.
Poopooing defi will not be in bitcoin interest. Figuring out how to do it apart from essentially giving your coins to blockfi or Celsius and rely on their good graces might be important.
Governments have nothing to fear as taxing could be programmed in, if needed, not sure why they would be 'all over it'. They won't be, IMHO. Why sell your btc when the time comes when you can use it more intelligently?
I despise the current defi fad, but I think Biodom does have a point. It's a matter of execution more than anything else. We're still far from an acceptable solution, but I support the idea and hope someone figures out a workable protocol.

I didn't lie. I thought those images were from the present. I posted follow up ones from now, 2020. Very well, you didn’t lie: You were careless with the truth. Noted. (The 2017 dates were obvious in the URLs. That is what jumped out at me, at a glance; and I presumed that you must have noticed, too.) Also, as a separate issue, your argument is nonsensical. Even if all of these images (including the ones from 2017) were from the present, it doesn’t show that “They are literally laughing at the stupidity of rest of the world rn”—unless you suggest that everybody who ever enjoys himself over beer must be celebrating at others’ misfortune.

The rest of the world gets to "be disallowed from all ordinary pleasures" and continue to be shut down, while the Chinese laugh at the rest of the world's naivety and ignorance while they party and have a fun, normal existence. That sounds like an argument that the Chinese are just smarter and saner than everybody else; I don’t buy it. And you still did not explain why a beer festival, which they apparently hold every year, constitutes “[laughing] at the rest of the world's naivety and ignorance”. In WO, in in my own P&S thread, and elsewhere, I have been shouting from the rooftops since March that people should stop panicking. (Though there is something to panic about: Impending extreme economic hardship, starvation, and unlimited tyranny... I fear hunger more than I fear Covid!) I saw that the self-destructive mass reaction was bad; so did many others, IIRC (?) including you. If people don’t heed sound reason, I don’t see what the Chinese have to do with it—unless the Chinese somehow control other peoples’ governments, mainstream media, and masses of ordinary people who are blindly terrified into submission. It is this which destroys the world whilst spectacularly failing to save it. Why shouldn’t the Chinese have a “fun, normal existence”? Just because everybody else has succumbed to mass hysteria?
"Huh... so you think you can hold my beer?" (another strain of Corona) Corona renamed their beer. Stupid. I just noticed that Wikimedia Commons memory-holed the old Corona beer logo—WTF? Thus, the broken image link: 🙂 https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Corona-logo.svgThis page has been deleted. The deletion, protection, and move log for the page are provided below for reference. Suuurrre... I see that the Coke and Pepsi logos are still there.

By the way, I managed to withdraw everything from Bitmex before going through the latest KYC/AML doorway. Anybody still keeping funds with them must complete identification before they can trade, deposit or withdraw.
same story with Bitstamp some time ago (don't remember which year it was). Bitstamp switched to KYC/AML. Still looking for a DEX that allows trading pairs of BTC:USD, BCH:USD, and/or BSV:USD, and is actually... you know... decentralized. Suggestions? a bit late but theres this new project that working on a bitcoin native (not on ethereum) decentralized exchange, your keys your coin and its gonna have leverage upto 20x, its pretty early in the stages tho Weird. Last time I heard anything from Edan Yago, he was telling us at Bitcoin 2013 San Jose Conference about a micronation he was in negotiations with a host nation to allow within their borders. OK, not really a micronation, but an Economic Autonomous Zone. As history hath shewn, it never really came to pass. Dude... you gotta check this out: https://prospera.hn/Real change takes time - it's not Sushi...
