Anyway, he will be just another anecdote in the meteoric rise of bitcoin along side Mindrust.

A little thought for all the conspiracy theorists around here:

Maybe Mindrust didn't sell his entire stash at the bottom. Maybe he just said that.

Maybe he really doubled his stash and kept it quiet.

Maybe it was his boating accident and his new smaller stash is all he wants to show.

Maybe...

I am starting to seriously dislike this "online anytime" work. Too much work, too little satisfaction.
I wish bitcoin just "cooperates" and make us all wealthy/rich/fabulously rich (pick your poison) so we can all live happily thereafter.
Where is my promised 200-288K? I want it now, and willing to provide a reasonable discount  Grin.

I do feel sorry whenever mindrust's name comes up.

BCash confirmation times 😂😂😂😂..👇

Jbreher....?  Tongue

Ten minutes per block targeted, ten minutes per block achieved. Just like clockwork. What are you trying to imply? That satoshi's target of ten minutes per block is a bad idea? I disagree with that notion. If you don't like ten minutes per block, you could always switch to ether or lite or some other crapola.

For clarification, those are the number of confirmations required, before coins will be credited to an account to thwart double spending attempts, when dealing with certain exchanges; Kraken is one that I can attest to.

edit: additional information

Bitstamp requires 12 confirmations for BCH and 3 confirmations for Bictoin.

...gzactly.
https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/ansnd7/coinbase_is_waiting_12_confirmations_for_bch_not_6/

In all fairness, the 15 confirmations used for comparison in the OP seem to be a bit over the top. Although the same coinbase just requiring 3 for btc also speaks loud.

Just misclicked on Speculation: guys there is a whole bunch of other people out there! They say price is going to sharply decrease, an ETF will never be approved and you need to scalp the 15 minute chart.

Wish I would have known all this years ago, now just holding a bag Angry.

What is an ETF and why Bitcoin needs that, whatever that is  Roll Eyes? But seriously, aren't they exactly the same guys who even in March's crash claimed the halving was priced in? We know their thinking - they always expect some unrealistic low price to fill their bags. Instead, they are left behind bitter nocoiners.

That would make him just a common liar, and is not a basis for conspiracy theories.

A plausible conspiracy theory would be that he is part of something greater other than himself (his account).
Part of a group like the Cuntonians.
Or part of the group the r0ach account belongs to, aka the one that buys the rumors and sells the news. Wink

If you put up a poster of an eye or someone watching in a public space like a reception or foyer then there will be less crime.

My problem is I have a scientific background and appreciate little details like evidence and logic before jumping to conclusions that serve to reconfirm my world view.

Scientific method is fine for the natural world.

The world of humans is much more complex and messy. Lots of things happen underground, hidden from public scrutiny. Intentionally hidden.

It would be foolish to assume CIA or MI6 or Putin are not cooking some crazy projects right now, just because we have no precise scientific evidence of their shenanigans.

The public knows maybe 25% of important events/decisions, at best.

Occam's razor is still a very good tool.

If we go back to 9/11, again, the "motive" for a conspiracy behind that event is supposedly the war(s) that followed. Explain to me how it makes sense to fake an attack and announce most of the terrorists were Saudis, if your goal is to attack Iraq ? Saudi Arabia is still an ally to this day.

There is no doubt that plenty of unsavory people wanted to attack Iraq, they said so publicly, wrote books about it, etc. If they had wanted to create a good reason to do it through a terrorist attack, though, 9/11 doesn't make sense. And indeed it didn't work, they then had to cook up the WMD story (a proven conspiracy).
