I tried manually setting the queue 0 and 1 via the API on my S2, and my hash rate drops to the low 800s. On "default" settings I get ~950, but 5% rejects.  M That seems very low - what freq are you using? I'm running an S2 @ 212 freq using --queue 0 --failover-only and getting ~950Gh/s. It's a bit of a power draw - using a OCZ 1250 Watt Gold PSU, but it's the only way to get it to play with p2pool, and with the current luck it's well worth it  |

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I see, so those S2 users also experience reduced GHs from 1100 to 900 for mining in p2pool??? i was wondering whether my Cointerra running ar 1320ghs instead of the normal 1600ghs a normal situation. Anyone out there on p2pool also using Cointerra who can confirm plx   |

(please) Also now that we have moved to the 9M range I have been getting more shares and almost no orphans or dead...? 1) he paid 27 BTC in fees. He should have only paid 0.0001 BTC for a transaction of that size. 2) you're having a streak of good luck. |

Sheesh. Any way, to answer your question, my terraminers are also running around 1.3TH/s, where on BTCGuild they used to run at 1.6. Is that due to P2Pool? Possibly, but I haven't really wanted to switch back over to test the theory. Could also be due to them starting to overheat, as Terraminers are known to do. I haven't had time to re-do the thermal paste to see on that either. As for your share question, read the past 3-5 pages (I think, maybe more) and you should get your answers, that topic was recently covered. |

Have never mined with Cointera gear so cant help you there. The p2pool share chain is very similar to the bitcoin blockchain with 2 major exceptions: 1. Bitcoin blocks are expected to found every 10 minutes, in p2pool a share is expected to be found every 30 seconds 2. Unlike bitcoin, p2pool nodes do not know the entire chain, they know only the last 8,640 shares (about 3 days) Any miner with a valid share in the active p2pool share chain is paid when a block is found by the pool, hence the statement "the shares are paid for three days after its found"... |

Have you tried plugging the hashing boards to your desktop through usb. That way you can use mainline cgminer |
