My friend sold his posh apartment and invested in bitcoin. I would not do that ever. I think it's very dangerous.
Take for example yesterday's peaks, from 12K yesterday to 9K today ...
Is it possible to invest the last money in such an unstable currency? Undecided

I just wanted to know that, what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit. But i want to know what is the risk involved. Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.
Hope you hold your BTCs up to these days Wink Speaking of bitcoin (and cryptocurrencies generally), there will always be a small chance of bubble burst, but chances are reduced over time.

In any investment you will always taking a risk. If you decide to invest to Bitcoin, ready yourself for the outcome of it because you will never tell or you can't predict what will happen to your investment. I know that the value of Bitcoin today is keep on increasing but we are not sure if it will continue or not.

according to my point of view bitcoin is a HIGH RISK HIGH PROFIT investment.we can't predict what happen to bitcoin in next MINUTE.so far it is going well.you can get quick profits from bitcoin these days.and i have a small thought that risk in bitcoin reducing day by day slowly.lot of big companies showing trust of bitcoins.and the China FUD doesn't stop bitcoin train.so you can invest in bitcoin with a little risk.but you will get good profit.

There are some factors that cause bitcoin prices to drop, one of the negative news about bitcoin in the global media certainly has an impact, you should look at the graph and start seeing bitcoin news, if you invest in bitcoin, but I think bitcoin will continue to survive

If your investing a huge part of your savings into bitcoin it is very risky as there is no guarantee for the prices to keep fluctuating at a low rate there,  might be a substantial drop one day and this might cause a huge loss. Buying a small part in btc is less risky and profitable too.

Investing with all your money is risky, but not if you set aside some of your money. If you lose profit, you will not lose all your money.

Look for a trough in the price fluctuation and put about 30% of cash on it. Distribute the rest among IOTA, ETH and tokens. It's a simple, elegant methodology that's based on the Bitcoin trend over the past 5 years.

I think that there is no risk when investing in Bitcoin. Because as you know, no one can control Bitcoin, with own advantages, it creates own value and many people accept it.

There is too much risk but it still upon you whether you'll save it in a safe wallet or rather keep it in someplace where hackers can easily work on. s

Every form of investment or business is a risk. We are all not sure if our investments will surely grow and become profitable. Not until time says it. Investments in bitcoin is not really that risky compared to other form of investments. Bitcoin's value continue to increase through time, thus, any form of investment in bitcoin will surely be profitable after some time. The only risk for you is more about how you keep your earnings and how safe your wallet is.

Bitcoins are a rival to government currency and may be used for black market transactions, money laundering, illegal activities or tax evasion. As a result, governments may seek to regulate, restrict or ban the use and sale of bitcoins, and some already have. Others are coming up with various rules.

Depends on how much you want to invest and are willing to risk in order to reap the benefits. This is all up to personal preference...

Every investment has a hazard and we should consider it before contributing. In the event that you don't consider how enormous the hazard you will get then absolutely never hope to have the capacity to get a benefits on the grounds that in speculation is critical for us to decide when it's a great opportunity to purchase and when it's an ideal opportunity to offer. And yes there is a risk factor involved in BTC investment.

This risk helped many people all over the world, and made them profit more money.
The key to it is a high maintenance to bitcoin, hardwork and patience is the key. Nothing is guaranteed so that's why you need to watch bitcoin anytime as mush as possible. If the price starts to go down then it is the time to sell.
