That's where I am now. GUIMiner only have the CPU in the list of units.

I recommend using the Catalyst v11.11. It's the fastest driver package and should support the 6770. OpenCL APP already included. No need for a SDK package.

Thank you!

#%&¤$#£#¤%{""!!!! AMD/ATI! No logic, no order, no usable search function. That version seems to be the only thing I will need. I wish I found that before!

My name is confusing, I began mining using an old GeForce card. Now I have ATI cards.

hope this is the right place for this.

am trying to setup a solo mining pool with slush server, bitcoind, with 3 avalons connected to a secondary router within a LAN behind a primary router.

slush server was running fine when i went away for a few days.  came back to a shutdown.  this came up when i went to restart:

Code:
cypher@server:~$ bitcoind -blocknotify="/home/username/git/stratum-mining/scripts/blocknotify.sh --password x --host localhost --port 3333" -daemon
cypher@server:~$ Bitcoin server starting
: Error opening block database.
Do you want to rebuild the block database now?
y
y: command not found

how do i respond to this?

Run bitcoind with -reindex .  That should fix it (it will take quite a while).  Just don't forget to take that flag off the next time you start up.  Just some advice...while it's novel to try solo mining and everybody should at least try it out once, you may want to reconsider.  At today's difficulties, 3 avalons is going to have some massive variance.  You're only expected ~1.2 blocks per week assuming 200 GH/s.  It is not unheard of to have a block take 8 to 10 times the expected amount, during which time difficulty will only climb higher, further reducing your expected time.  Of course, you could easily get lucky and end up making a lot more Smiley.

Quick question -- I am using phoenix 2 which I got working properly yesterday. However it seems unable to connect on the stratum URL, and always goes back to the api2 URL as "backup", but the "my account" page hasn't shown any change in the past day despite the miner running at ~950 Mhash/h for the past 15 hours or so... is this normal?  Huh

Unless something has changed recently, phoenix doesn't do stratum.  Either use the stratum proxy, or use cgminer like the rest of the planet. Smiley

Well, that would explain that. I'd love to use cgminer but it crashes on startup for me every time.
