Regarding the Poll: What type of pool payouts do you prefer?

I think it should be reset.
A lot has changed in the last few months. I live in the US and it takes a lot longer to get USD out of Bitcoins.

(I am a 1MB block supporter who thinks all users should be using Full-Node clients)
Avoid the XT shills, they only want to destroy bitcoin, their hubris and greed will destroy us.

I keep getting a ton of connection problems -- I had moved to BTCGuild for a while with 90% of my workers to wait it out and see if Slush improved -- but I had almost all of my Slush workers (in two different locations) error out with connection problems last night. Is this a permanent issue now ?

Looks like slush is too busy with his Trebor or whatever it's called.  Pool seems to be limping along on it's own, and doing a bad job of it.

75% of my workers halted yesterday with error "unknown encoding idna" a friends did the same thing also...
I am going to go out on a limb and suggest some erroneous data was sent to the miner clients from the slush servers

Address:  109.74.195.190       <=- wildcard answer for unresolved dns entries... you would think slush would want that removed.... eh?

which is

This cannot be fishy Smiley slush's real name is Marek Palatinus, so kuzlatko must be his backup server.

"I'm not following the established directions for connecting my miner(s) to Slush's pool.  As a result of me not following directions, my miner(s) aren't working properly.  Therefore, it must be a secret global conspiracy, all in the name of robbing me of my 0.002 bitcoins for the round.  INTERNET RAGE!!!!!!"

I'm wondering. we have a run of bad luck and people leave for greener pastures. Our hashrate settles down and our luck starts improving. People see our luck improve and come back. Gradually increasing hashrate continues to feed good luck. Eventually, hashrate gets as big as it is going to get. Luck starts to equalize. People consider a little bad luck to be an indicator and start moving away. Gradually decreasing hashrate manifests the appearance of a run of bad luck until we are back to the normal lower rate. Luck eventually stabilizes and repeat. Huh

Sure does seem that way.
