im using sempron w/ gt 440 with only 14.7-15.0 Mhash/s
can you give me any idea how much will i earn a day?
0.000000Give or take...0. That's not fair...I mean, just because you can't /spend/ a thousandth of a cent, doesn't mean you aren't earning a thousands of a cent. You can use the bitcoin mining calculator here - http://www.alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator You're estimated at 0.00000123 per day with 15 Mhash/s at currently difficulty. Like the other posters said, you're better off mining an alternative Scrypt based coin. However, if you wish to experiment with Bitcoin, choose a pool like Bitminter because they count each shift so your shares aren't likely to decay before a block is solved. On Slush's pool, it's very unlikely you'll earn anything because you may not submit shares at the right time before a block is solved. Anyway, the minimum payout on Slush is .01 so at that rate it would take you many years to earn enough to withdrawal.

The bitcoin protocol uses 8 decimal spaces and if you get less than that, you just get nothing ... yes the life is not fair, but it never was Sarcasm miss.

Hi, im new to forum and wanted some help, I started mining bitcoins about 2 weeks ago with antminer s1 overclocked to 200ghs, first I was getting around 0.0044... bitcoins per round when difficulty was at around 4,,, but now im getting like 0.0033 per each round. can anyone please tell me does difficulty effect how much you get per each round because I thought higher difficulty meant longer rounds... my speed is around 200ghs like before but lower btc per round. can anyone explain why the change has occurred. thanks in advance

Increases in difficulty create a longer time between rounds. More hashing power added to the pool by not you causes lower payouts.

You need to grow at the same rate as the pool to get the same percentage of each of those blocks. To maintain the same rate of return you have to grow at the rate of the network. Pool size is irrelevant as long as it remains large enough to maintain the ability to solve blocks within an acceptable time frame. Difficulty increases to control the release of blocks at a predetermined rate taking more computations to solve each block thus requiring more computational power to do it within the same period of time. It's derived from the computational effort being thrown at solving blocks of the entire network.

Is there a hash rate that actually allows a miner to keep pace or even outpace the estimated rise in difficulty or is that just a wrong way of thinking about difficulty?
Thnx

To keep your rate of reward denominated in btc the same, you would keep your personal hashrate in the same proportion to the network hashrate.

No kidding! I've been watching that. As long as it pops soon, that's only 9-10 hrs average across the two

That's because Slush's pool luck stat is only updated when a block is solved, so it always shows a completely inaccurate luck figure before a long round finishes.
