OMG, Did I see the -- cuda_devices there? why not directly help them instead of equating your apprehensions

I did help. I gave the right answer: --dev
You decided to play smartypants by inserting lols and smiley faces  (failed apparently)

O yeah, you did help did it got worked? LOL Grin

Will you get lost if I give you one merit point? or you are trolling here just for the sake of number of posts?

Not sure if this is a bug with new version Huh

The GPU are not ordered when displaying HashRate.

You can see GPU1 is showing first ??

ZM uses CUDA_DEVICE_ORDER. Nvidia specifies it's default behaviour like this:
FASTEST_FIRST causes CUDA to guess which device is fastest using a simple heuristic, and make that device 0, leaving the order of the rest of the devices unspecified.

The default behaviour can be changed by setting the environment variable 'CUDA_DEVICE_ORDER' to 'PCI_BUS_ID' which causes CUDA to order the devices by '... PCI bus ID in ascending order'.

The documentation for this is located at: http://docs.nvidia.com/cuda/cuda-c-programming-guide/index.html#env-vars

... this is from a couple threads before...

@dstm,

Any chance to see % of GPU fan usage at telemetry?

Thanks!

One GPU is failing, check your Riser, or if you have an extra try to replace them.

if it happens its an open rig and have some dust then make some cleaning maintenance

Hey ppl Smiley

I just finished testing the new v 0.6 with most of the Nvidia GTX 10xx cards, results below

GTX 1050 4GB Ti    = 180 Sol/s
GTX 1060 3GB       = 325 Sol/s
GTX 1060 6GB       = 345 Sol/s
GTX 1070 8GB       = 460 Sol/s
GTX 1070 11GB Ti  = 480 Sol/s
GTX 1080 11GB Ti  = 650 - 685 Sol/s

if anybody did make the switch to DSTM from EWBF for mining with 1080 TI's, how did you modify your OC settings, and did you perceive any notable hash rate improvement over EWBF with the latest 0.6 version of DSTM ?

p.s. just read the notes above: for example on EWBF for ZCASH the memory overclock makes no tangible difference whatsoever, in fact some people even put it to negative to save a bit more on watts. Does it behave differently on DSTM ? I would presume for ZCASH only the Core clock matters.

Thanks in advance

Best miner will depends on your type of card, for Nvidia you came here at the right place.

for the pool, Flypool is my choice.

These are top sols you can get from your nvidias. However I recommend not using highest possible clocks on your cards as lifespan will be shortened significantly.

Hi DSTM!
I have a question about telemetry. The telemetry message does not display the latest, up-to-date information, but only the average value? It is quite logical to see the actual, the latest information, taken from the log of the miner, because possibly overclocking was increased, or other manipulations were performed and the average readings would not immediately reflect this change. In my opinion, the current hash is more important in monitoring than the average, which is smeared in time.

Regardless of what type of cards you have, Eth is the most profitable coin to mine for the last few weeks. So grab yourself a Claymore and mine ETH (ethermine.org is probably the most popular pool for that). If you prefer to have ZEC (which I don't) then miningpoolhub with auto-exchange may be a good choice.

Any numbers on a 1080 8GB ?

Im running a Gigabyte Windforce and getting roughly 500-550 sol/s (1 GPU) on average but Ill see it at 600 sol/s at times.  Non OC. Stock settings

Sometimes when checking "current hash rate" via the API I'll see 800 sol/s or more but I just toss that up to some kind of misread or error.
