DTMS you should really take some steps, like I suggested you.
It's a worthwhile investment.
It's not hard to get the required data, there are laws for it.
People doing this have to compensate the losses, it won't be funny for them, for sure.

I can't believe the greed of these people trying to avoid a 2% fee...  That's like 10 cents in every $5 you make.  If enough people manage to get around it, then the developer will have to spend more time securing the software to make it harder for these scumbag cheaters and less time spent improving the software.  From an ethical standpoint, the developer is entitled to charge whatever fee he wants and people can choose to use it or not.  Or they can choose to be thieves.  I guess some people never learnt that stealing is wrong.

Does anyone's hashrates fall after some time with dstm? I've got 8x1070's and I start around 3,700-3,800 sols and it eventually settles around 3,500-3,600 after about 1 hour.

Yep. EWBF does the same. This miner as well as ewbf are very inefficiently coded. They hog the CPU and the hashrate drops. (you may not see it in top (linux) or task manager (win), but they generate a hell of a lot of interrupt requests).

Open source miners like ethminer or ccminer (for other algos) don't have this problem. I donated to those. Charging 2% here from all profits is just ridiculous , this guy is making millions monthly yet he hides behind anonymity and brilliant "customer service" (yes, you are paying him).

I tried my new 10x ASUS STRIX 1080ti OC cards today with 0.58 and got wonderful 740-760 Sol/s at 80% TDP@temperature 48-53 degrees celsius with each card Smiley Looking forward for 1080ti optimization!
In my 1080ti strix is also the one that performs the best. At 100% PL it gives >800. Too bad I only bought one  Sad

I will look again into performance of GDDR5X GPUs after releasing 0.6.
Any ETA of the 0.6?

I was planning to release it this weekend, however it needs some additional work - so I have to delay it slightly.

Hi, this version really needs a fix.
If my rigs lost connection with the server, miner just stops the software and closes. It is supposed to try to reconnect with the server, but is not doing that.
I have my rigs connected with powerline adaptares, so the connection brakes for 3 seconds 3/4 times a day. I NEED A FIX PLS!

Make sure you're not using the '--noreconnect' option.

what is the proper command line to connect to miningrigrentals? I keep getting

Code:
2018-01-20 19:36:15|#  connected to: eu-01.miningrigrentals.com:3333
2018-01-20 19:36:15|unknown method client.reconnect
2018-01-20 19:36:15|recv: Connection reset by peer

no matter what I try

Is there something I need to enable on miningrigrentals side? I already created a worker for equihash and added a pool for when it's not rented (it's currently marked as unavailable because I wanted to test that it works)

I also tried to get my own port in miningrigrentals GUI (says I can do taht if my miner doesn't support method.reconnect), and when connecting to that I get:

Code:
2018-01-20 19:52:58|#  connected to: eu-01.miningrigrentals.com:50607
2018-01-20 19:53:04|#  connection closed by server r:0

EDIT: Seems it was just a matter of waiting 10 minutes after adding the pool or rig or my own port (I don't know which triggered it) ... it now works.

ZM doesn't currently support the 'client.reconnect' rpc. It was requested about 2 months ago - there was no time for it - I'll ad id in one of the future versions.

I am struggling with my new setup. I have 3 1080ti and a 1k PSU(rosewill) If I set the power limit to anything above 200w when either ewbf or dstm miner start up the system crashes. 1000w should be plenty for 3 of those cards but it seems that the sudden surge in ask for power from all 3 psu right at the same time is to much for that PSU.

@dstm is there anyway to add a staggered start parameter? Or do you have any other ideas?

ZM has this already build in.

Try to improve your cooling, this is most likely why your solution rate decreases after some time.

Only time I've notice a measurable decrease is when it gets hotter.  If it stays cooler I'll get higher hash rates (just starting the program from a cool down) and will slightly decrease a few hashes after really 10-15min at most.  If you watch it you'll see the decline yourself in the manager.

Every card manufacturer clocks there card differently so thats really something you'll have to play with but for my zotac 1070 mini a core of +100 and mem +550 and power limit of %80 is solid..

Is there a parameter with this miner to mine with one card and not the others?

The equivalent of doing a "-di 0" in Claymore?

Thanks in advance.

--dev 0 or --dev 1 2 is what your looking for but my brother you need to read either the first page of this forum or the readme.txt in the dstm dir for little things like that...  Wink
