Really... now that the warm glow of them responding at all has worn off...

It would be nice to have some real hard data on the test system:
1) Number of hashing modules
2) Power consumption at the plug
3) Hashrate as reported by CGMiner
4) Measured temperatures on the chip and PCB
5) An explanation for why the hashrate seems to vary by upto 50% (800 to 1200)
"There should not be any signed int. If you've found a signed int somewhere, please tell me (within the next 25 years please) and I'll change it to unsigned int." -- Satoshi

So the twitter account said production was just today given the ok to proceed. That lets us know that they aren't made already, right? Unless the 200TH account that popped up on eligius is "production"

I still don't see how they will ship out every one of the orders on monday to arrive tuesday. They might get a box out to screw over that bet that was made, just so icebreaker isn't out $$.

We dont know what the top account is on eligius. We did get them to confirm they were mining on eligius for some time already. It doesnt really gel into their story of a new board since the account was mining fairly consistantly on presumably old board.

The way I read that tweet ("Tests came out very well tonight. Production has been given the go-ahead!") is that production of motherboards is in the process, since prototype test were satisfactory. They probably can produce 550 motherboards in one day, but they still have to ship them to Canada to make complete miniers. There's almost no chance they'll deliver a single machine to customer in 2013.

You should take iCEBREAKER up on that bet then! However I think he may be "away" for some reason or another if you tried to get him to do it hah.

It seems that HF's twitter feed is being manned by a few folks who aren't communicating amongst themselves very well.

I believe bogart bet him 5 btc which was accepted. I demand a scammer tag for icebreaker if he doesnt pay.

ALWAYS BET ON iCE...

Since you like to bet, how about accepting mine?

I have 5 BTC that says HashFast will not ship a working miner containing Golden Nonce chips to even one customer in 2013.  (It has to be physical delivery.  Hosting doesn't count.)

Care to put up 5 BTC of your own against that?

I think I love you bogart.

I accepted Bogart's bet, on his conditions (ckolivas doesn't count) and even offered to double the stakes.

He has yet to respond.  I wonder why?

Your acceptance is acknowledged.  I didn't see your response at first since it came some days later and I don't frequent this thread.

No thanks on the doubled stakes.  I'd rather not tie up that much BTC.

It won't matter, because Icebraker would not man up and pay, but just disappear like all the other shills.

Hosting at Thor?
Yes, i'm paying the full rate now, i was planning to ask for a better rate if/when the MPP arrived, but that was long before October.

What do you guys think? Two or three modules in the test system? I am going for optimistic... Two modules.

I think its a sierra. So that would be 3. But they are still tweaking.

I am thinking the same - a Sierra.

I suspect there isn't enough cooling for the units to run as high in the Sierra form factor so they top out at ~500 Gh/s (or less).

My guess is that their next update will be monday night (GMT). 24 hours before the deadline (that standing to some has already passed).

Who will request a full BTC refund given that their BJ won't be delivered by the 31th of Dec (even santa claus can't help at this time).

I'm not really used to read hashrate graphs, but i find it strange that the graph grows up and down by intervals of 200GH. There is nothing in the middle, but those intervals.

Once again, the lack of clarity on the little information provided is disappointing.

Stop having the office admins man the twitter feed and have Engineering provide a proper update.

1) Chip Hashpower
2) Wall plug system power draw
3) Chip performance in hashrate and temperature at a given voltage
4) System details including number of modules, model and capacity of power supply

Are these values so hard to provide?
