Under the 'Account Details' page, is it just me or does the table that has our current BTC and NMC amounts change from time to time? It seems like every other time I load the page they are flip-flopped, one time BTC will be on top and the next NMC will be on top.

Its not a big deal but like today I looked and thought I had 11BTC already when in reality I was looking at 11NMC and only have 6BTC.

WinXP Pro with Firefox 14 here, btw.

Saw that too, I don't mind. win7 chrome

thats holding a lot of btc at a pool

another extremely minor inconsequential bug report about the website; looks like the pool's hashrate is becoming too big for the graphs  Grin

(firefox 15 on ubuntu)

I imagine it will look even worse when you hit 1TH. Perhaps its time to drop the last digit.

Hmm, thought I had fixed account details so BTC is always listed first. Have to look at that again.

And yeah, the hashrate is too high to display on the site. What to do!? Cheesy

new record? 13 blocks in 24 hours (15 august) or do we wait for all blocks get 120 confirmations? Smiley

Pointing another 3800mhash (4 workers) to you, been a week on triplemining but dont like the idea that 50% of that pool probarly goes to 1 person (team), but still getting rewards when not mining there  Roll Eyes (24 hr pplns or something)

But i realy like the livestats and instant payout on your site, and maybe ill just donate all my namecoin to you Smiley. can you make something that when we donate 100% namecoin we can instant payout btc with 0% donation? i dont mind the namecoins as they are kind of worthless to me (excange etc is to much work for me)

Love the pool, and update your title maybe, yesterday we were over 900ghs, now @ 850ghs Wink)

edit, donating all my NMC's to your server Smiley.

Used to be 600mhash a few weeks ago. after it stabilizes above 850 they should be safe to say it is an 800Mhash pool
I see it going to 1Thash in a month or two, taking more OzCoin users

It might be a glitch related to Linux and fonts used by Firefox. Everything looks fine on Firefox 14 @ Win7.

So to give an example:

If you mine for one hour one day from 01:00 to 02:00 then pay for that work can come in until roughly 07:00. With the proposed change this work could get paid until 12:00. It's a bit annoying waiting longer to be paid but it also gives you a much more stable pay because the coins from a block get spread out across more proofs of work / time.

Put another way, currently when we create a block the miners who were active in the last 5 hours prior to that will get paid. With the proposed change miners who were active in the last 10 hours get paid. (number of hours varying with hashrate though)

It's the same amount of money and 24/7 miners probably won't notice anything. But it will help even out the tops and valleys of the reward graph which should be helpful for non-fulltime miners.

Interesting idea, organofcorti, varying N with hashrate automatically.

Well, in fact I loved it back in the days when those 10 shifts covered whole 24h.
I don't care too much any more as I'm non-stop miner but I know that my brother mines only few hours a day ... and he would definitelly appretiate the fact that if he mines 2 hours a day that he would be getting 1/12 of each shift during the following 24h ... but as of today that would mean we would need more than 80 shifts.
Anyway it's just variance ... over longer period of time it gets averaged anyway.

I will take that under advisement. Cheesy

Yeah, it's a new record! 13 blocks in 24 hours, and also over 1 TH/s hashrate.

I'm just on vacation for a few days and not spending as much time on the pool right now.

Thanks for your support. Happy to hear you like the pool. No, I'll need to require a BTC donation for instant BTC payout. I'm a bit worried that 1% donation is too cheap. A couple orphans can totally wreck the pool's meager income. But I will try to keep that going. I'm worried about the early days of SC though, the accelerated rate of block generation will cause more orphans than normal.

We seem to be stable over 900 GH/s now, will update the title. And thanks for the donations, good sir, it is much appreciated.

Do you pay for orphan blocks?  If not, why do orphan blocks harm the pool's income?  If so, how about just suspending payment of orphan blocks when the ASICs are released, then resuming them after difficulty settles back down?

I think if you enable the prepay perk that orphans are paid out.

Doc: perhaps you could limit your liability by paying out only x orphans per day/week or y% of recent blocks.

That's right. Until a few days ago 70% of the hashpower was using the prepay perk. Now it's gone down to about 60%. It's painful when we hit an orphan. But I'm happy to see the perk is popular.

Yeah, I may have to do what one of you guys suggest, or raise the price of the prepay perk, or maybe something else.

I would prefer to just keep things as they are, as long as I won't lose hundreds of bitcoins when ASICs hit.

Does anyone know how often orphans occur with litecoins? They produce blocks at a higher rate than bitcoins. They also have much fewer pools though.

Has anyone gotten credited for the last (2) rounds 194475 and 194466? I have the donation on and perk enabled but I haven't seen a credit for those (2) blocks yet.

NMC is too much hassle for me at this point, I dont have enough hash power to make it worth my while so Im donating 100% to you, as well as 3% BTC. Im new to this pool but so far I like it and would like to see it stay around awhile.

One suggestion, I dont know how hard it would be to do but it would be cool to have a graph that showed each workers hash rate over time like what BAMT shows. If that would be too much work both for you and the server (rendering that many graphs would require a bit of CPU power) maybe even a listing of the same. This way we could use it to help monitor our rigs by watching to see if the hash rate drops and roughly what time of day.

Just an idea.
