How long the verification process required to upgrade an account?
I mean verification of the Tier 3.

Unfortunately the verification que is very long right now. If you have created a support request about this, post the request number and I can escalate your case.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Yes we have both but under different symbols. DOGE = XDG and STR = XLM (since the name of the stellar tokens was changed to lumens).

We do plan to add more coins, but we don't pre-announce what we're going to add except for maybe a few days in advance at most (and usually we only announce right when the new currency goes live).

It appears that more people are now getting interested to Kraken and having their accounts get verified. It would be better if Kraken could add more people/support to fasten the verifying speed especially at times like this. We must admit that people hate to wait when it comes to processes like this. This is just a suggestion.  Smiley

Dargo, one question please, when I spend the entire amount  (all btc) to buy a coin, and the purchase is made, but in the order it appears canceled, the purchase has been made, right? Because I see the amount of coins bought.
In the order ticket appears:
Status: Canceled  
Reason: Out of funds
But I see that I have my coins bought, maybe it appears in the order "canceled" because it had to subtract the commissions and has not bought the maximum possible?

Thanks for the suggestion - hiring more people is something we've been doing for a long time now and we've ramped up the hiring even more in recent weeks. Hiring more people isn't as much of an easy fix as it might seem, though, because it's a slow process to find people with the right skills and train them. We've been growing so fast that it's difficult to keep up with it through hiring.

When tier 3 verification is verified do you notify by email ?

We do email notifications for some tier upgrades, but not in all cases. For example, if you upgraded to tier 2 and got an email about that, you might not get it when you are subsequently upgraded to tier 3. I'll see if that can be changed, though, because I think it would be best for clients to get an email for every tier upgrade.

I welcomed with enthusiasm Kraken Exchange launch as the existing ones are really dubious.
They do work indeed but you are just happy at every transaction that completes as you know it can always shutdown.

Guys, btc-e for example is from Bulgaria Smiley do you know anything about Bulgaria ?
I am from Romania and Bulgarian border is 100Km away... I know more that it is needed so to never trust trading money I can't afford to lose to an bulgarian exchange Smiley No offence, but Bulgaria is like Wild West, the most dubious country in EU, where a few years ago just crossing from RO to Greece you risked being hijacked on the public roads and strip down by clothes and car Smiley It is reality not a joke.

Anyway... I liked and tried Kraken so this is when my adventure begun.

I did a small deposit just to test Kraken and after 3 weeks it is not shown.
Their ticketing system doesn't send any e-mails when opening new tickets.
They are dead silent. No answer, no nothing.

My Public Account ID is : AA08 N84G 4HR4 HNFQ
I did wired on the 9th of January 106$ which apparently are lost now.

Yes, if you put in an order to buy more btc than you have funds for, the order will partially fill until you run out of funds with the remainder of the order cancelled and in this case I think the whole order shows the status "cancelled." But if you dig into the order you'll see the volume that was executed.

I dont know for btc and how it is at the moent, but ~a year ago when "lumen" was introduced, I tried to send lumen to another kraken account, which also was not possible.
I asked supprt and they told me kraken to kraken transfers are not possible.

Kraken, is this still the case? are you working to "fix" that?

Kraken-kraken transfers are not possible for some currencies (I think just XLM and XRP), but should be possible for other currencies. For the currencies where it's possible, a transfer to another kraken account is no different in terms of our controls than doing a regular withdrawal. You should create a support request if you haven't already so we can look into it.
