Does kraken have sepa withdrawal issues? I did a withdraw on saturday and today, on monday, it's still pending. I guess such a website can't send their employees on weekend so why was it not yet processed? I waited for the money and now it is not even sent?

Normally it went pretty fast into status success as far as I remember.

I already created a ticket though I wonder when I will get an answer...

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

I believe it's stated that you should wait 3-5 business days before opening a ticket. From my understanding withdrawals are processed once every business day around 12 UTC -- today, Monday the process should be initiated.

Ah ok, thanks. Hope it happens still since it is still in that status and 12 UTC should be over already. Maybe they have many withdraws to work on.

Might be that I only withdrew in a week till now. So I did not see that they don't process on weekends.

I would like to report the following bug (or nasty behaviour):
Kraken allows (without even warning) to sell the collateral that is needed to maintain an existing position. For example, assume there is an ETHBTC long position backed by a margin of 1000€ and now these 1000€ are sold for more ETH. Kraken doesn't decline or even warn, but instead executes this trade which immediately results in a margin liquidation since the bought ETH don't qualify as collateral (because, at Kraken, ETH is not a margin currency).

Thanks for the report - if you haven't done so already, please open a support request about this and PM me the request number so I can help ensure it gets the proper response.

Still nothing 4 and a half hour after 12 o'clock UTC.

Thanks for the offer, I will pm you my support ticket.

So far I had no errors or something like that when trying to withdraw.

On hold or sending status? Mine was on sending until dargo checked out my support ticket. After that it went through. Don't know why it was not worked on.

Send dargo a pm with your ticket number...

Maybe when it is your first withdrawal you might check the verification status you have. It might be that the threshold of money you want to transfer is higher than the level of verification you currently have.

Might be they check you out first since it is your first withdraw too.

I think it's best to contact dargo. Somehow the support is not really usefull at kraken. Might be that they are overworked because of the current performance issues too.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

Since Krakens main currency is EUR. Do I have to pay a conversion fee when withdrawing USD to my USD bank account?

Thanks for help SebastianJu.

After fev days support replied whit detailed response why the SEPA didn't go through. The problem is with banks under Raiffeisen Bank group. They are apparently blocking any payment related to bitcoin..

Yes, I heard of that. Though it is not only banks from the Raiffeisen bank group but all banks that use Raiffeisen middle man transfer system (or something like that) too. Which raises the number of banks being blocked for bitcoin transactions... very unfortunate.

Can you say which bank you have an account with? I will avoid it... Cheesy

I only know that Postbank is not affected. I'm not sure about Netbank since I did not withdrew to it directly in the last year or two or so.

Ah ok. Never heard of it though it is interesting that slovakian banks use the raiffeisen transfer banks too. I wonder why.

The problem is that they have no real connection to raiffeisen. You can't find out. Only if the withdraw fails...

It's better anyway to have a bank account only for bitcoin. You never want to experience that your normal bank account is closed and all the monthly bookings that were done automatically end up in nowhere so that you have to set up everything again.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

Announcement:

Both Friday, March 25 (Good Friday) and Monday, March 28 (Easter Monday) are bank holidays in Germany - this means Fidor will not process wire or SEPA transactions on these days. So if you sent a SEPA deposit today, it may only get credited on Tuesday (!)

Fidor-Fidor internal transfers will still be processed. PayCash will also not process any transactions on Friday and Monday since both are bank holidays in Luxembourg as well.

So if you sent a SEPA deposit today,
SEPA deposits still not working.
EDIT: Meanwhile I opened a support ticket, and the support responded within a few minutes and manually checked/approved the deposited amount.

My account got temporary disabled due to pass change. I opened a support ticket and got a reply to answer like 10 stupid questions...So damn frustrating. Not worth the hassle and my time.. Cannot you identify your users simply like the normal exchanges?

I better continue trading on btc-e.com hassle free like always.

Is this a joke?

Maybe they believed in themselves too much like their shit doesn't smell...

I used to do €XXXXX volume on kraken but i am disappointed now.

Advice to regular users who give kraken good business and fees - do not make simple changes like changing your password.

We understand that the account access questions are an inconvenience, but we are very security focused and think that this kind of inconvenience is worth it to better secure your account. Identifying our users "simply" without something like this would mean doing things like going by the email address you use to contact us (and other things), which we do of course check, but none of theses things proves your identity (email accounts can be hacked) so we think it's worthwhile to do something extra.
