That's really hard to read...
receiver_summary.txt is the summary for everything - currently 955
devtome_24.csv gives running totals for previous and current round

Lol.  Thanks.  I didn't even see that when I scanned that entire thing.  It looked like 20 pages of words mixed together with no breaks.  955.  Man, my gut instinct was almost right on.

Round 25 is harder to call though.  The coin value has gone down quite a bit and many of the existing writers are probably a bit worn out.  The wild card is new writers and more importantly new members from abroad, namely Eastern Europe and Asia, where at even $20-$30 per day, it's not a bad deal.

So round 25 could end up being a total sleeper (like round 22) or it could end up having closer to 1100 shares.  Really difficult to gauge at this point.

Thank you jasenlee,
It was for sure a nice idea.

Lawyer got the first one, we will see soon who gets the next Cheesy

If I can afford it I will do more in the future also.

Man, a tablet, that was really nice.  I wish I had known about it.  Thanks for the financial effort, really good idea.

Edit:  I'm curious, Jaison, what would you have done if 2 or 3 guys hit the max cap of 80K?  I mean, right now there's at least 2 other guys besides lawyer at around 70K so it was really close.  Just curious cause a tablet is not exactly cheap.

Same. Found out why I didn't know, too... it was posted on an LTC forum. I don't follow that at all, :p.

This is my DVC logo, made a few days ago.
If you think it was a nice idea, maybe you can work on it. There is always room for improvement.

Lol, I saw that too.   Maybe Jaisn is trying to tell us something - time to venture out of the nest a bit.  I've been out on the Romanian forum, ixCoin, and a couple other ones.  Devcoin is only one of my favorite coins - I'm trying to cover my bases for when Bitcoin 2.0 strikes again.

Good luck!

It's one of my favorite designs - definitely in the top 3.  How much longer before a winner is chosen?  There has to be 15 submissions by now.

Well the ltc forum, I think I cross posted it here. But on ltc forum I have my fpga project which has lots of followers so though it a good spot to start it out.

And no one ever told me if the QR worked ok for them too!

I am too quite a dedicated follower of this forum only, no time for others, but not even caring about them. Maybe I am wrong in concentrating my energies on this DVC idea, but it is the one on which I can identify myself.

What QR code are you guys talking about? Is the "V" in the logo a QR code? No smart phone here (gasp) so can't test myself, just curious, :p.

..
The lotto ranges for the remaining writers are at:
https://raw.github.com/Unthinkingbit/charity/master/lotto.csv

the next megamillions draw:
http://www.megamillions.com/numbers/

will be on Tuesday night, so the lottery winner will be declared on Wednesday.

The numbers were drawn for the Tuesday lotto:
http://www.megamillions.com/numbers/drawDetails.asp?drawDate=6/4/2013

on the page they do not give you the numbers in the order they were drawn, for that you must go to the video:
www.megamillions.com/numbers/video.asp?quality=low&date=6/4/2013

in order they are:
11, 20, 55, 10, 12, 19

from lotto.csv:
https://raw.github.com/Unthinkingbit/charity/master/lotto.csv

the numbers around that are:
Cryptobyte, 0.183335762759, 11, 15, 53, 39, 47, 11
Cryptopi, 0.20139610968, 12, 16, 33, 22, 14, 8

so the winner is Cryptopi.

Sorry to ask always newbie-like questions.
I never played any lotto or similar games.
I just want to win my ignorance.

My given numbers were

Dexter   0.338140355992   19   53   23   48   55   37

So, I got two numbers. But how do you establish the winner?

Sorry for the dumb question, thankx for the patience.

Yeah, I would think it would be like the real lottery -- choose whoever got the most right. Appears the two that were listed above as possible winners had none of them right.

Edit: Cryptopi got one right... the other had 0.

I'm just using the lotto as a:

base 56
base 56
base 56
base 56
base 56
base 46

random number generator, in order to get a single winner. It is not based on getting the most right numbers, which can result in multiple winners. For example, the four writers around:

11, 20, 55, 10, 12, 19

are:

CryptoAddicto,0.175002834329,10,45,46,17,38,35
Cryptobyte,0.183335762759,11,15,53,39,47,11
Cryptopi,0.20139610968,12,16,33,22,14,8
DeadSea33,0.271447775456,16,12,15,33,4,22

if the lotto had been 11, 14.., Cryptobyte would of been the winner. If the lotto had been 12, 17.., DeadSea33 would be the winner.
