The were no objections to the windows bounty doubling: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=34586.msg1776730#msg1776730the original bounty is at: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=34586.msg1358839#msg1358839so it is doubled from 6 shares to 12 shares. A 6 share bounty has been sent out to K1773R, so a top up of 6 will be sent. The remaining bounty is 6 shares. The windows bundle works, the problem is that people are having difficulty installing it and getting it to bootstrap the receiver files. So the remaining windows bounty is now for improved installation and/or bootstrapping, maybe an installer could be made which installs devcoin-qt and devcoind, and makes copies over the receiver files to the correct place or something like that. There's no point in making another windows devcoin exe, since that part already works. I might give a proper windows installer a shot. tell me if you do it so i wont waste time up to you for now. Well, I'll have to reinstall Windows on a junk hard disk first. I found your build to be great. It just isn't quite idiot proof enough for most Windows users. It isn't their fault though, they have just been trained to expect the wrong result since 3.1

I also forgot to say, I really like the green for the devcoin logo. It's a color that'll stand out well to people skimming pages and such.

How much could we see dev coin go up to,in value?
I think it's unlikely that a devtome project will bring in much revenue, so not much unless you'll see other projects which rely on devcoin. Basically it all depends on enthusiasts... Right now exchange rate is likely supported by mining pools which convert Bitcoins into Devcoins.

Prices are weird though. It tends to stay below 300 satoshis per coin and sometimes go below 100, but instead of going down compared to bitcoin when bitcoin goes up, it at least sometimes goes up compared to bitcoin when bitcoin skyrockets compared to fiat. So kind of weird. I guess when bitcoin skyrockets speculators start anticipating other coins will also skyrocket, but expecting them to skyrocket as compared to bitcoin seems a bit... optimistic?

Hi, I'm still having trouble accessing the devtome wiki. I've tried several computers and internet connections, so I'm fairly sure the problem isn't on my end. Most of the time I'm able to access the main page, and read articles, but when I try to log in the page times out. Also, sometimes it times out when I try to access articles that are not the main page. I thought maybe the problem was with my account, so I tried creating a new one, but the page times out when I try to register. It seems like there is some issue going on in the server end.
I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to post this, but it seems relevant since writing for devtome seems to be the main way to earn devcoins at this point. Is someone here in charge of the server for devtome?

It will really help make Devcoin more accessible to a much wider audience

I think that there are too many alt coins were exchanged to BTC when it goes higher (say $200 or more) in order to cash out in USD. So BTC may continue to grow up while BTC/alt coins rate going down due to sell of in favor of BTC. At the same time BTC market capacity is relatively big compared to many alt coins so additional sell-off of BTCs from exchanged alt coins does not ruining BTC/USD rates.

There's some information about each coin at vircurex. It's at the bottom of the sidebar on the right, so you might have to scroll down a bit.

I have two questions.
1.Has anyone every thought of contacting kickstarter and asking if folks could use Dev coin to donate money to projects?
2. Could we ever see dev coin go near .0001 per bit coin?

Hi guys, I have posted my first article on devtome. It is about Copyleft. You can take a look and say your opinion. Since I am not a native english speaker I am afraid of using bad expressions or an incorrect writing style. I will be happy if you correct or improve the article. Also, I have a couple of questions about how to earn devcoins by writing. Where should I put my DVC address? The payments are automatic or I have to say someone to make the transfer? I know they last a little. Can someone help me here? Also, I've put the link on my signature. The Copyleft article is here: http://www.devtome.com/doku.php?id=copyleftThank you very much! Devcoin sounds really interesting so far! I hope it becomes more popular (you guys seem to be doing a great job with that). I experimented with some images based on bitboy's bitcoin graphics. The text and colour can be easily changed if anyone has suggestions. Image links: Is this the definitive logo? It is only a proposal? A contest? Can we propose other logos? I like this one but I also wanna take part in this party, so my ideas are (based a little on yours):

Nice logos! My logo is just one idea; you can see the other logos and banners here. There was a bounty being offered for the next _ people to make one. I think it's still going, but I'm not entirely sure.
