Also having this same issue - always saying couldn't connect to server. Did you ever get it to actually work properly?
Yes, it works work 2-5 hours, then I have to kill the database and resync to get it working again.

Running the daemon on ubuntu linux, it crashes every few hours. The process is still running, but
bitcoind getmininginfo
results in
cannot connect to server
rebooting does not solve the problem. Deleting the database, and resyncing does!
This is actually the perfect botnet defence! The daemons on the botnets will crash, but the owners of the botnets are probably not gonna delete the database often.
Also having this same issue - always saying couldn't connect to server. Did you ever get it to actually work properly? restart the server with "bitcoind -reindex" to rebuild the database file instead of deleting and resyncing. works every time for me so far, although I wish I could figure out what's causing it to fail in the first place so I don't have to keep babysitting this.

Does it work with the daemon option, so it could be performed on startup? (so a restart would fix it).

How many confirms before an immature block is matured? Edit: Found out, 80 confirms. Which will be half a day to one day at this rate Edit 2: And selling 200 MMC @ 0.02 BTC/MMC, you can reserve and we deal when it is matured

How do I get this thing rollin again?
Wallet not syncing for 5 hours. 29 hours behind. Message in the top of the client: Warning: Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or other nodes may need to upgrade!
Huh?

Is it -reindex or --reindex? asking, because I've tried -reindex and all it does is to resync the database from the network (about 5 blocks a second on a very fast pc with ssd).

Did you update your source with the memory leak fix - made about 24hrs ago?
