[ANN][HUC] Huntercoin - Worlds First Decentralized Game/World on the Blockchain

I think what huc needs right now is mass-adoption.. how is mobile app and server-based game going along?.. When the game will be more easily accessed, more players will join the fun and Huc value will grow huge.
For now buy while this is cheap

Mass adoption will be nice but some gameplay needs to be changed to level the playing field.  We are having a conversation about it on the other forum and it looks like its coming along well.  At somepoint in the "near" future there will be a hardfork so all these changes can take place.   The blockchain is bring worked on as far as pruning from what I understand.  And mobile wallet is in works. 

BGB created an installer, so that it installs everything with one click, so it takes about an hour to get up and running instead of like 2 weeks of blockchain synching.  Just waiting on snailbrain to approve.

Although this isn't directly related to HUC in the sense of gameplay/client/etc. I figured it would be worthwhile to pass along this link. It looks like CasinoBitcoin is auctioning off a spot to list an alt of winner's choice to be integrated into PeerBet2.0 for a limited time.

Seems like it would be a good opportunity to spread HUC out there a little more and get a few more people interested. If anyone else considers this a good move, I wouldn't mind contributing to a pool to place bids...

Huntercoin "quick" install.  BAC you are the guinea pig.  Just download, and run the package.  Then start the QT client.  And it will sync rest of way  (maybe delete everything out of the c:\users\<your login>\appdata\roaming\huntercoin folder if you have anything there from previous attemps before attempting new install)

I've downloaded it twice.  The first time my Google Chrome killed it and wouldn't give me a way to accept it.  Then the second time it downloaded/opened, but had 37 weeks to sync.

Will try again when I wake up.

100% positive.  I'll clear everything out and do it again.  I've been up trading all night on 20x margin, so I'm pooped. Just waiting for this last rally to $400 and I'm passing out.

I've started to get my hand dirty with Unity3D, I've some idea i want to experiment, so as a "test" (thought and time consuming ) i've created a 3D version of the current map, almost accurate reproduction, with some addiction like a little water pool in one of the central area, just to experiment

now i'll add vegetations and details, etc... i didn't thought was so hard to do a map, already spent 3 days on it, but well, it's a nice test for me

I've still to think what to do from a game perspective, maybe a side game, like a FPS/strategic one, that involve challenging some other users with HUC as a prize (e.g. you challenge another user creating a match sending 10 HUC to an address, the same will do the other player, and who win the match get the pot, or something like this)

I'm a fan of League Of Legend so i could think even something of that kind, i still don't know, but i'll create something

The download took about 1hour to download (my internet here is like 100mb download and normally clocks between 100-130mb.)

I'm now running the set up.

Will update and sorry for being so slow.  I found 20x leverage trading the other day. Well last night I passed out after grinding 2btc up to 16btc... well needless to say I learned not to fall asleep while 20x and I have more free time  lol fuck

Fired right up with 9 days behind to sync.

While you are at it, install the MM edition client.  You need to download a couple addons for windows beforehand

very nice 3d representation of the HUC world i agreed with you, a little of water on those areas that are full of trees will give a little more of live to the map, just always try to make sure that looks like a surrounded by forest lake or a no end street river, i mean that no one think that you can use the river or lake to get to the other side, get kill trying to cross a river that is just cosmetically added to map and get upset with the map creator >_<

this is a side project, not sure what i will do with this, if i'll work on a 3d client or use this for other kind of game that uses huntercoin... or both!
But i'm very far from having something usable, the map takes a lot of work to be done, need to build forest, details, etc... and then work on game mechanics or port what i've done on my 2d client, months of works, even if it would be my daily job (but it isn't of course)

anyway i'm passionate and i'm sure i'll do something, but not shortly
meanwhile, this is a screenshot of the kind of cemetery i'm building in the middle of the map, without trees yet, and other small details
