From the top of the webpage :

- API is disabled due to high DDoS attack. Will add some limitation per account and reopen it soon.

I have searched through the thread regarding invalid shares but I am still a bit confused.

When I look at a calculator, it seems I am getting about as much eth as I should expect. 146 mhs Day = .905135 $10.00
but I have a lot of invalid shares.

I am using ethOS

user ID:23168
Could you explain what a stale level is?
Do invalid shares affect the amount of eth I mine?
What can I do to reduce invalid shares?
In another thread someone suggest core clock could be an issue?
Another suggestion was a problem with DAG. I am using ethOS so each time I startup the DAG is regenerated right?

yes you probably have some gpu what crash

50% share is the half rejected
normal user are below 1%

core clock or could be also memory if you oc it

you have to run the gpu's separately to find the guilty one

or if you run them all  only oc one at the time, and you check the results

i don't think pushing your gpu above 1100 change anything, and you gonna kill you gpu faster

my r9 390 runs at 1090/1525    putting to 1100 change nothing  unless you dual mining, so i keep at 1090
you have to try to find best compromise   if i put my memory to 1550 it s a little bit slower and 1600 is to much

Hey guys...learning as much as I can here, been reading for about a good 6 months.

I have a baikal in the mail to be arriving here soon. But I have been checking on many calculators and it would seem that DGB/Qubit seems most profitable at the moment. Am I correct or missing something?

Thank you all

Mining Pool Hub Notice

Pool had some problem and did not work well for about 8 hours.
(It did not affect ethereum/ethereum-classic server and Siacoin)

Normally, pool automatically recover from failure state but it did not run as expected this time.
I investigated the issue and fixed potential problem, tested all logic again.

I will set affected pool's fee as 0% for a week

Sorry for inconvenience.
I believe this issue will not happen again.

it s not working
my dgb miners are not working, only 1 is connected

my miners restart each hours, except 1 , there is still probleme to connect to pool

Is it still not working?
It seems all working well now.

Do you have some timetable to give when decred (dcr) is coming?

and Monero (xmr) pool maybe?

And thanks for great pools Smiley

DCR is quite hard to implement. It needs some compatibility issue fix between miners.
I'm still working on it.

Not sure about Monero at this moment but I will check it too.

Is there a problem with siacoin pool?  Or just really unlucky? (no blocks for almost 2 days).

Thanks.

Seems like it was just unlucky. I monitored Siacoin pool as well, but there was no problem or issue. All working well.
No blocks for 2~3 days, and found 3 blocks today.  Smiley

The API went down today. The error is '501 Not implemented'. I need the API to make use of this pool; has something changed?

Sorry.

There was some serious DDoS like attack through API request.
Now it's open again. I'll not close API feature like this. Sorry again.

Could you explain what a stale level is?

- > Ethereum's block can be generated not only from the highest height block. The biggest difficulty level block is chosen as main block among candidate blocks and others will be treated as "Uncle block".
Stale level means, your share is a bit late and new block is already found from pool. This late share is not useless, but should be valued lower by how far the block height difference is.
level 1 stale share means it's 1 block late, level 2 stale share means it's 2 block late. It can be upto 6 level according to Ethereum's uncle block spec.

Do invalid shares affect the amount of eth I mine?

-> It affects.
Uncle block's reward is little bit less than normal block.
Normal block's reward is 5ETH, Uncle block can be 4.375 ETH, 3.75 ETH, 3.125 ETH, 2.5 ETH, 1.875 ETH, 1.25 ETH.
Stale shares will be calculated by mathematically expected uncle block reward.
1 level stale share will be treated as (4.375 / 5) than normal value.
2 level stale share will be treated as (3.75 / 5) than normal value.

What can I do to reduce invalid shares?

->Stale shares that are too late (more than 6 level stale) can be treated as invalid shares, but mostly it's just wrong calculated share.
Seems like one of your GPU is generating invalid shares continually. Maybe it's hardware error.
It would be better if you separate each GPU and watch which is causing error.
Pool can't distinguish which GPU has problem, since they are all reported as '6eae0a' workername from you.

In another thread someone suggest core clock could be an issue?

-> Core clock seting could affect this issue. Or releasing excessive undervolting setting would solve it.
Or GPU may need to be fixed. You have to test each GPU first and see what is causing error.

Another suggestion was a problem with DAG. I am using ethOS so each time I startup the DAG is regenerated right?
-> AFAIK yes. I haven't tried ethOS yet, so don't know much about it.
Nowadays, latest release of genoil-ethminer, claymore works well, generating DAG in GPU.
Have a try.

Not sure. I think it needs some source changes to support miningpoolhub.

I sent PM to the author, and left message at the forum.
Hope it supports miningpoolhub.

Thanks.

i have 2 not very stable miners what freeze or bug sometimes  but i don't get the mail  or sometime it s very late (etc classic for now)

i use windows task manager to restart the miner program every hour but sometime it s start a 2nd instance without closing the previous
and computer hang , i guess cannot load the dag 2 times

Email alarm can be quite late to prevent false alarm from pool. (It will be improved)

I think you'd better use below script.

:loop1
timeout /T 3600
taskkill /F /IM ethminer.exe
timeout /T 25
goto loop1

Save it as start.bat and run it.
It kills ethminer and run it every 1 hour.

ok but i missing some stuff, it close but won't retart it
i use bat to start the miner
so i did this but i guess it s not correct
it start the miner but i think it s not going back to  goto loop1

timeout /T 25
