Hey, how come my NMC balance is still 0? Is merged mining still working?

NMC is only awarded to workers on the PPLNS system.  PPS does not generate NMC.

Edit:  Well crap, looks like Namecoind is acting up again.  Will update once I can figure out why no new blocks are getting added.
Edit2:  False alarm, I was just looking at the most recently closed shift which had no blocks solved.  NMC has been getting awarded.

NMC is only awarded to workers on the PPLNS system.  PPS does not generate NMC.

 Shocked why?

1) Because I prefer users on PPLNS.  It gives them better rewards in many ways, and means I'm not gambling on pool luck, which means the hot wallet can stay much lower than it used to be under pure PPS.
2) Because NMC was added back in a way that requires no extra DB queries or and virtually 0 database load.  A single column was added to the PPLNS table and it was ready, whereas doing NMC under PPS requires a completely separate table and an extra query every time shares are submitted to insert that data into the NMC-PPS table.

i set already PPS for my workers, if i change it to PPLNS would it cause any lost shares?
Should i make a new worker for PPLNS?

You can switch workers between PPS and PPLNS at any time, nothing is lost.

send an email to support@btcguild.com with your username/ emaill address and as much info as you can. That's the best way to get answers to any account issues.

i send 2 email since 24h but never answer

Some people have lives...

Do you think these people earn enough money to be able to afford to pay some other people to offer better support?

um... no.

Can you please elaborate why do you think so?

Servers that run a pool like BTCGuild don't run of fresh air.  Nor is the hardware free.  Oddly enough.  Roll Eyes

And 3% fee out of 2500TH/s are not enough for that?
Here's a very simple calculation: 3% is 75TH/s, which is around 32BTC a day.
Still not enough for better customer support?

+1 but mayb e ther prefer money than answer to mail and question.

only lost my time since 3 or 4 days.

poor administrator.

poor administrator.

No-one is forcing you to use the pool.  If you think eleuthria is a poor admin, why don't you set up a pool yourself and see how difficult it is.

Or better still, use another pool for a while.  Then you'll appreciate quality. Smiley

I've heard he's a big Deepbit fan.

I think he is just pushing his post numbers so people will see "Hero" and think that he knows what he is talking about. Tongue

I'm hoping everyone know better then to put any stock in the "Hero Member" classification.

Good luck over the last few months would do it ;p.  Average luck has ended up making the pool pay better than 0% PPS for 3 months and counting, not counting NMC.

Low stales, high reliability (low chance of failover losing work), good fee rate, an admin that actually responds to user questions about problems with stats unlike some other pool admins who go months on end without saying a word (sorry, was foaming at the mouth there).

Good job E!

They didn't go up as far as I can see... 3% or PPLNS and 7.5% for PPS.

It's been like that since August or so.  Nothing new.  That 7% is for PPS since it is very risky for the pool.  PPLNS remains at 3%.
