Edit: What a match Wahab's 19th over change things for Pakistan otherwise Moeen was really on target but still good match by both teams.
Honestly, I did not expect this result. This is basically a consolation win for Pakistan at this point. England must be gutted since it went down to the last over. Hafeez is in prime form currently while Ali performed well too. The English spinners performed horribly. Unpredictability is the beauty of the T-20 format. Looking forward to IPL 2020.

So T20I series finishes as a 1-1 draw! That's good from the side of Pakistan part, they can back to home with a consolation win. Super rescue by Wahab Riaz after nearly dropped match. Indeed A good contest, and well deserved victory for Pakistan.

Didn't expected Pakistan to win a T20 match against England, but they managed to do it somehow. Even after they made a total of 190, I was skeptical, because I knew the weakness of the Pakistan bowling attack. But the England batsmen (apart from Banton and Ali) failed to perform and they wasted a good opportunity to stay ahead with a series win.

No one expected Pakistan defeating England, in the second T20 they scored more runs than they did this time and lost the match and here England chocked with a crucial run of Eoin Morgan changed the match upside down but then i was surprised to see Moeen Ali returning back to form and played a blistering knock but it was not enough in the end, either way it was a close match and Pakistan leveled the series.

Missed yesterdays match, I had no clues that Pakistan won the first T20 against England. This why this team is truly unpredictable. You do not know what will happen next when these guys play. I will be waiting for the next match and hope to see them repeat the same performance.

Nope. Pakistan lost the first match and the second one was washed away. They won the third and last match. T20 is such an unpredictable format, and even teams such as Netherlands have defeated England in this version. It is like 50% skill and 50% luck. If luck is not favoring you, then you can go down even against minnows such as Scotland and Netherlands.

The first T20 was washed out due to rain where England was on 131 for the loss of 6 wicket in the 16th over when rain stopped play and with the way Pakistan played in the next two matches there was a high possibility that they could have won the first match as they have the batting dept when Mohammad Hafeez shifted to be a stroke maker at 39 years of age. I do not remember him playing like this in the past and his performance was a big surprise as he was clearing the long boundaries with ease.

Oh.. sorry for the mistake. So many matches going on and I am getting confused. Apart from the England vs Pakistan series, another T20 tournament is ongoing in the West Indies (the CPL). It is getting difficult to follow all these matches. That said, I am not sure whether Pakistan can take too many positives from this tour. They had a great opportunity to win the first test match, but they wasted it. Most of their team members are above the age of 30 and few of the younger players have performed well in this tour. Naseem Shah and Shaheen Shah in particular were very disappointing.

The match was interesting and worth watching. After a long time, we saw a close finish match. Although overall series was a disappointment because of the rain affecting the matches. Next tournament to watch is IPL where most of the matches will be thrillers.

You missing the 3 T20's and ODI's in the Australian Tour to England which starts this Friday till Sep 16th I think the Australian tour will be more interesting to watch than the recent Pakistan series and I really hope that there is no weather interference to ruin the fun.

Next tournament to watch is IPL where most of the matches will be thrillers. Don't get your hopes too high. There are multiple challenges. IPL involves 8 teams and that means a total contingent of 300-400 people. Already some of the CSK players have tested positive for COVID 19. There is a chance that more players may get infected during the course of the tournament. Things will get complicated if entire teams need to be quarantined. If that happens, then at least a few of the players may refuse to take part in the tournament any further.

Right now reports are not good about this as few players already feeling not good but quarantine is going on for few as CKS will resume training after few days but as I read few officials are still doing hard work for handling things in better way now this could be also factor for many players performance as they already feeling pressure specially after Raina announcement to leaving IPL this years addition.

I agree that when it comes to T20 cricket any team can win on the day, it can be said for most sports but I think T20 in more unpredictable then most sports as I think its an even playing field for all teams. In the longer forms of the game teams can recover but in T20 it is more difficult for this to happen unless its very early on but normally once a team gets the momentum its hard to stop whether its batting or bowling. Congrats to Pakistan on winning and at least tying the series.

Everyone who came positive recently had another test and results came negative so that's a good news. ------ Lasith Malinga pulled out from the IPL due to personal reasons and Sri Lanka starting their own T-20 tournament league from 14th Nov.

Lasith Malinga pulled out from the IPL due to personal reasons and Sri Lanka starting their own T-20 tournament league from 14th Nov. The SLCB came up with a franchise cricket league sometime ago, and this was a disaster in financial terms. They need to understand that Sri Lanka is a small country, which doesn't have enough resources to independently run a franchise league on its own. This is one of the reasons why New Zealand never tried their luck with the T20 league. CPL is a success only because the West Indian players have huge fan following in the sub-continent. Expect another loss making venture this time.

And the enthusiasm has mostly come after the grand success of the Bangladesh premier league because Bangladesh being such a small nation has been practically able to make it a great success this is why Sri Lanka tried it too. But yes Sri Lanka has much lower fan following. I think a better idea for Sri Lanka could be to try and pitch Bangladeshi to merge their league with them and take profit sharing out of that league.

The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is more like a moderate success. Very few of the international superstars take part in BPL, and there were financial issues during the last edition. But to their credit, the BCB has managed to stage the tournament on a continuous basis since 2012. One thing to remember here is that the population of Bangladesh is almost 10 times that of Sri Lanka. That gives them a fairly big advantage. On top of that sizable Bangladeshi expat communities exist in nations such as UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, USA, UK.etc.

It would give established players much choices and new players much chances. Players move around the globe to play where they love and where they are loved. With every league having a minimum number of local players, the new players gets a chance to play with more experienced players from around the world. These leagues are not exactly a challenge to IPL but a platform that could bring new and talented players to IPL.
