No doubt all cricket world is shocked with this win as it's just second time in last 3 years any Asian team able to win a test in New Zealand, and now they have few priceless WTC points as well with this win secondly now they can't lose this series with this win they have only 2 options win or draw with this they will play some better in second test match.

The Indian pacers were not able to pick early wickets to put them in trouble and the Indian batting was disappointing in this match, yet i think the bowlers will fight hard in the morning session even though i do not give India a chance to win the match from this situation, i am expecting some fiery spells from Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah.

The match can still swing either way. The lower order South African batsmen are in poor form so far in this series. And we can expect the pitch to give more assistance to the spinners today. Even yesterday Ashwin was able to extract a lot of turn from the surface. Dean Elgar and Erasmus van der Dussen are looking good so far and at no.5 they have Temba Bavuma who is in good touch. Indian captain should persist with Shardul Thakur and Ravichandran Ashwin, who seems to be his best options.

It was unexpected that a team like New Zealand and Australia would lose the series against a small team like Bangladesh.
Winning a Test match against New Zealand at their home is even more challenging. Teams like India, England and Australia were also defeated. Bangladesh won the Test match there and in full 5 days we saw the dominance of Bangladeshi players. Which is really a pride for Bangladeshi players.

Since two days have already passed. So now England's goal should be to draw the match. They will have to bat all day tomorrow. And must do at least 300. If they bat again after the follow-on, they will undoubtedly lose this match as well.
England's batsmen should continue to try to survive at the crease. Not relying on Joe Root. If they can finish the first session tomorrow without losing a wicket, then England will be able to draw this match. I wouldn't be surprised if they won. The first session of the day is very important. The team that plays well in the first session will be in control of the match throughout the day.

Yes, I thought about this when the WC started. New Zealand and Australia are two of the best teams in t-20 and they were in shambles when they toured Bangladesh as their spin-favored pitch was quite tough for them to deal with. On the other hand, the test champions, New Zealand were defeated after this WC in tests by Bangladesh> I'm guessing if Bangladesh tours Australia for test, they will win that as well?

And Australia has set a huge total on the scoreboard and I don't think England will be able to take a lead, it seems quite impossible on paper in my opinion. The Australian batting lineup did a terrific job as everyone contributed to the scoreboard.

Only if ball finds it way to umpires or Board himself going to stands and requesting the ball from the crowd . I didn't see if someone from the crowd tossed the ball.

Only Thakur is producing fine spell. Bumrah and Shami both looked off color so far, Ashwin was okay and Miyan ji struggling with hamstring (that's why he's not bowling i suppose). SA's top order deserve full credit for this, they are batting beautifully.

Only Thakur is producing fine spell. Bumrah and Shami both looked off color so far, Ashwin was okay and Miyan ji struggling with hamstring (that's why he's not bowling i suppose). SA's top order deserve full credit for this, they are batting beautifully.

Its first ever Test win by SA at Johannesburg against India. SA won quite comfortably in the end. Honestly, nobody was expecting such performance from SA. Recent Test performance by SA and Bangladesh are good for cricket, it just an indication that cricket is still alive in these countries. That's why bilateral test series are important.

Bangladesh does not have star players like Shakib, Tamim and Mahmudullah in this series. The Bangladesh Board has arranged a lot of young dependent teams. No one expected the young team to win against an experienced team like New Zealand. Everyone thought maybe Bangladesh will play better. But the results will be in New Zealand's favor.
However, Bangladesh will play another test match on the 9th. I hope they can draw this match. I would be happy if Bangladesh's players can maintain the continuity. It's hard to consistently play well and win against a team like New Zealand.

English bad days are not going to end in this series they need overhaul in their batting line-up because currently Just Root is having some better record all others average or below average with very crap record in this series.

Hopefully we will have some better technique from them in this fourth test which is still a big doubt with bowling is still giving them very good response, but they can't give them all with no batsman is giving any positive response. Australia done 417 in first inning now it's might task for them to save this test even weather is also helping them but tomorrow is very crucial because if they are able to done 300+ then surely they will be in safe heaven otherwise It's going to be 4 - 0 in Australian favor without any big problem.
