I don't think that India will be able to tour South Africa. The COVID cases are exploding there and yesterday they reported more than 16,000 cases. One week ago, this was in the 2,000-3,000 range. Omicron is destroying South Africa, and I am sure that the situation will get worse in the coming days. I don't know what was Jay Shah smoking when he announced the tour. Even if the tour goes ahead as planned, many of the senior players are going to pull out. And no sporting activity is happening in RSA right now. Everything is stopped.

If whole world can play IPL when India is under severely affected by covid and daily deaths were in thousands then why can't India tour SA. They can play cricket there under the bio-bubble, fair enough ? But since SA is not a member of big 3 so we won't see any favour for them.

If there was no draw result in test cricket, we would clearly obtained a result(India winning in this case). India literally wrapped up the match, but these stupid archaic rules impeded their win.

Test matches clearly need a Duckworth Lewis type of system in order to minimise draws. Draw result should only be applied in the test format in specific situations(Weather related issues etc).

After reading your old posts I was feeling you are good aware about cricket rules but after reading this one now I am feeling you have no knowledge about this, or you are really upset with this result draw because these are not new rules all applying for all teams with same level so if this match end in draw then nothing new happen because we have many matches like this ends in draw even one team was superior to win and having some good advantages.

Recently we have very few draws because now after introduction of short formats now mostly batsmen playing some quick cricket and having better results, so this all is useless that we need Duckworth Lewis or anything others related to this please chill and enjoy second test which is completely controlled by India, and they will win in just three days.

Test matches these days always have a result these days and the main reason for this is T20. Most of the time players are busy playing T20 cricket and same form is carried in Test also. Test draw also has its own essence, see the first test which ends in a draw. It's a sort of victory for NZ.

IPL is a revenue generating event and because it was successful last time in Dubai, BCCI was adamant in its completion. Please do not compare IPL with a bilateral series. Also the same voices can again start asking BCCI to cancel this tournament. You cannot compare a higher revenue generating event with a bilateral series.

It was held in Dubai, because players tested positive when the first phase was being held in India. The BCCI wanted to resume the tournament in India, but most of the players (both Indian and foreign) were against the idea. But another major factor was the tax issue. Tournaments in India are subjected to 43% federal tax, in addition to sizable local taxes. And as far as UAE is concerned, I guess there are no taxes applicable on sports tournaments. Both the BCCI and the players benefited from this.

You judged it right. As long as indians are winning, they like the rules but as soon as they see that indians are unable to win, they try to find excuses for the loss/draw and even want to change the rules of the game for their benefit 

Coming the 2nd test between Pakistan and Bangladesh, it seems that rain is spoiling the test and we are heading towards a draw. If we have full three days matches, then Pakistan first has to make 500+ runs and then take 20 wickets in about 2 days, a tough task at present.

Very little cricket on this day as the day has been canceled because of raining. Pakistan scored just 27 runs as the greater part of Day 2 was washed off at Mirpur. Day 3 conjecture isn't excessively great however we can hope cricket on the pitch. Up until this point, the match has been dominated by Pakistan. If the circumstance won't change Bangladesh could get advantage, summarizing their current present situation a draw would be nice reward to them.

If the Indian team goes ahead with their plan to tour South Africa later this month, then it is going to have extreme consequences. The most worrying aspect is that the majority of the Omicron cases in South Africa are among children younger than 5. If the Indian players come back with this mutated strain to India, then it is going to start the third wave of COVID in India. And here in India, none of the children younger than 18 years are vaccinated (unlike the case with the majority of the developed nations).

Then onwards the government is planning for the vaccination for kids, but nothing has reached a conclusion and kids aren't vaccinated. I am also feeling in same way this tour is completely waste of time and having some serious threat for players in current situation but as BCCI announced they will go ahead which is really shocking why they are insisting for this tour because Covid cases are rising very quickly many concerns and voices also rising, but we have to wait for official announcement from them in next few days what they are doing about this all.

NZ batsman showed zero respect for 10 Wickets in an innings by Patel. Surely India will come out victorious in the match. Kohli is struggling to regain his form, he need some more time probably. Only rain can save NZ, is there any rain forecast for coming two days of play?

New Zealand currently needs 400 runs to win against India and they have already lost 5 wickets for 140 runs. There is no possibility in my mind where Newzealand wins this match.

Yes, you are right and that has happened because the vaccines that India had were given to elderly people first then the young people and they were just considering giving it to the kids, but before they do that the new variant of coronavirus has been detected and if India tours under these circumstances, I think it will put the whole Indian nation at risk. But I honestly do not think that they will go through with their decisions and probably will cancel the tour later.

To be honest I am going to be blunt and I think that Duckworth Lewis is the shittiest thing that could happen in cricket. This rule needs to be renovated really soon. And I have to say that the system of winning losing or drawing in the test match is really found at this moment. because if we put Duckworth-lewis in this situation in a test match where it was supposed to be drawn, I think that it will cause more problems because then the losing team will have absolutely no chance of gaining anything from that match.

In my view test cricket don't need any changes because it's already doing very good as now after introduction of twenty/20 and 10 League we have very good changes so its need to going as it's having right now for better results. In near future ODI are going to be dead or end with these both short formats are going to have big impact on this game good entertainment and quick results peoples love these both and these can bring some more markets for cricket because surely peoples will love these both test could be just in hand of 9 or 10 countries with just top 6 will be good and others will struggle like right now we have West Indies. Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and Afghanistan.

Right now it's not all about vaccination there are many other factors also working western media is exposing how these big multibillion medicine companies doing hypocrisy and having double or treble their profit in the name of this vaccination as effected peoples number increasing very quickly recently in many countries, and now we have this new Omicron which is the more problem right now specially in African countries can create serious troubles so better avoiding and staying at home is much better because always safety is very important but BCCI never thinks about this as they have their own agenda and money greediness which is now having some trouble for their players those are really important for their greediness.
