Bangladesh vs Srilanka 1st Test match,Srilanka have batted first and they have managed 390+ runs in first innings. Bangladesh start to good innings and already have between 134+ partnership. All credit goes to Bangladeshi openers. For my experienced Bangladeshi players didn’t do bat as well in test match specially 2nd innings. They were nervous every test match. I think, Bangladeshi players can improve the test match.i hope they will be more improve in future.

157 for no loss incredible achievement by Bangladesh considering the team has not being doing well in test cricket. Iqbal has faced most of the ball and is on 89, at this rate he will achieve his century. The lead has reduced 240 runs and I think by the end of session 2 it will be within 200runs.

Tamim Iqbal is part of Bangladesh's highest opening Test partnership with 162 runs. There are no records for anyone other than master batsman Tamim Iqbal. Tamim Iqbal got to his tenth Test with a bang. As Tamim is one of the most senior players on the team and can't stay forever, they need to develop another player to fill his spot. As for Sri Lanka's bowlers, they took three wickets, but the lead has been reduced by just 168 runs. Tamim Iqbal retired hurt. Hopefully he will come back for the day's final session. That session will be critical for both teams.

Bangladesh is playing really well and to be honest I did not expect this type of response from the Bangladesh batsman. Tamim Iqbal played really well for his century. I don't think he is injured or anything. I just saw the weather forecast and today was a really hot day in Bangladesh and he just wanted to take some rest to come out to bat later.

The other batsmen of Bangladesh are also playing really well. But it was disappointing for Shanto and Mominul. Bangladesh is still trailing by 79 runs but I believe they will be able to take a good lead in this innings. I think they should play for the win in this test match.

That's definitely a draw and that's one of prime reason why cricket is confined to 10 nations only. 5 days of play and we still have no winner. I didn't watched the three days of play but stats shows its a batting track with nothing much for bowlers. I don't expect SL batting is that worse that they collapse on single day against Bangladesh.

It is a batting friendly pitch. Bangladesh is playing with many experienced players in this match. So, I'm not surprised with the batting performance of Bangladesh. The openers did a great job with a good partnership. Now the middle order batsmen are battling very well.

I think they will not declare the innings untill they have a lead of more than 250 runs. Matthew is in form and he has the ability all by himself to chase a lead of 200 runs. The way Bangladesh batters played yesterday, I think this will not be a big task for them.

I don't think that Bangladesh will declare at this point. They would rather wait until their lead gets to at least 200 runs before declaring. And therefore I don't expect the declaration to come today. My guess is that Bangladesh will bat all day today, and then they may declare during the first session of 5th day. And that also means that there is zero chance of getting a result other than draw.

Either we have a draw or a Bangladesh win nothing else seems possible at the moment. It all depends on how Srilanka play first session of tomorrow's play. If Srilanka  can play first session without losing a wicket then surely they will end this match in a draw.

If I'm not wrong then BCB has announced the test squad for Sri Lanka series on 24th April (Bangladesh Name Test Squad For Sri Lanka Series).
Miraz was injured on the same day. The team management has chosen Nayeem as a replacement of Miraz within the next few days. Bangladeshi bowling lineup is filled with inexperienced players except Shakib and Taijul Islam.

Should we expect 3rd inning collapse on 5th day turning deck?

Bangladesh will have the opportunity to win the match if it happens. Sri Lanka has already lost their first two wickets. Everything will depend on the middle order batsmen of Sri Lanka. Their middle order batsman has batted very well in the first innings. So, I'm not expecting to see significant changes in the fall of wickets on day 5.
